🦞LOBSTER SALTED EGG SAUCE: Boil the whole lobster for 40 minutes then separate body and claws. Cut the lobster into 2 halves. For the salted egg sauce: Steam 5 salted egg yolks for 10 minutes & then put them in a bowl. Add water and smash the yolks. Add cooking oil to a skillet, pour in the salted egg sauce and stir. Put the lobster in the pan and allow it to cook with the sauce. Serve with coleslaw.
🦞FRIED CLAW WITH GARLIC: Rub the lobster claw with frying powder. Prepare a hot pan & add garlic. Place claw in the pan and fry for 1.5 mins. Remove lobster & mix with shrimp salt, onions, bell peppers, chilli and garlic.
🦞FRIED CLAW WITH BUTTER-GARLIC SAUCE: Add butter, grinded garlic, water, MSG, condensed milk, oyster oil, cashew oil and chilli sauce to a hot pan. Place the claw in the pan and allow it to soak in the sauce for 1 minute. Remove the claw and place in a dish. Add onion slices in the pan and mix in with the sauce. Pour the sauce all over the claw and sprinkle fried garlic on top.

I really find myself drawn to the videos that you make in Vietnam because I spent a year there between 67 and 68 in the Air Force. And anyone who was stationed in Vietnam, during the war, will tell you that when you leave you leave a little Part of Yourself. And you find yourself drawn back. It really is a beautiful country. I feel bad that my connection to it had to be through that horrible War, but I still never got the place out of my system. Every one of your food videos is a treasure Trove of memories that come flooding back whenever I watch them.
FUN FACT: When a lobster is brought up from reasonable depth and bled, their blood is perfectly clear. That is because the oxygen level at those depths is relatively low and hemocyanin without oxygen is colorless.
But they're crustaceans, their blood are either blue, muddy green or colorless -_- something about copper-based blood as i recall
But still, blood of fishes at those depth is probably colorless =]] according to your fact

If I remember correctly, they used to feed it to inmates at one point. It was seen as a ‘dirty’ food cause their bottom feeders.
That was before refrigeration was as good. By the time it got to the table especially for inmates, it was likely rancid. Lobster is great but it spoils quickly.

When I was stationed in Saigon in 1967, I had a chance to try out a lobster dinner at a restaurant, and was surprised at how small the lobster was. Later on I found out that what they call Lobster we call prawns, which is why it was so much smaller than a rock lobster. I I have definitely Advanced since then, because that looks fantastic.
