Thanks for warning us follower's (legitimate) of your vlog. I learn so much watching your videos. The time you put in creating content on this channel is greatly appreciated. Hello from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.
Love that you started with the dandelions. These beautiful wild flowers are often vilified as dreaded weeds and yet are truly a beautiful flower and one of the earliest bloomers of the season. Yellow flowers and lighthouses! 2 of my favourite things to photograph.
Dandelions are great! They're one of the first decent food sources for pollenators but in the UK as soon as grass starts growing people go mental and start mowing their lawns 7 times a day; a bit of a shame really as we need the pollenators!
Mads I love the canola fields series! Your scouting efforts lead to great rewards and I now appreciate the importance of planning. Your images are so aesthetically pleasing and the colours sumptuous. Sitting here in Australia on a dark, rainy day - your photos lift the soul!
Mads, you're an absolute inspiration! This was one of my favorite videos. Keep up the amazing work and keep inspiring novice photographers, such as myself!
Hello Mads and thank you so much for your teachings. I live in East Yorkshire with very similar agriculture and rolling wold land. We have many more obstacles in our photographic field of vision; namely miles and miles of field hedges! Denmark, from what I see, is pretty much clear of those barriers and makes for some of your most amazing photos. Other than hedges, our landscape is almost identical, and I love it! Thankyou again.
I have had this scam before myself on another channel. I kind of knew, as I was told I would receive a camera that I knew was impossible to get hold of at the time! it is great you posted this warning :)
Thanks for the warning and another fascinating and informative video. It is so nice to find another photographer who embraces the delights of summer photography. I love blue sky days full of sunshine.
Your video vlog made me think of Ukraine because of the colors, the picture with the bird over the field would fit to be called "Ukraine rises again" Thank you for your nice vlogs!
It's great that you are embracing what is before you in your home country - Denmark. I love the simple composition and the collections. Thanks for this latest episode. Cheers from Australia
Dandelions in the United States are considered weeds in peoples yards, having grandparents from Greece I have grown up eating dandelions with olive oil, love them!
Hi mads would like to thankyou for your constant teaching and guidance, you recently like one of my photos on landscape photography UK it had some wild garlic and twisty trees with a sun star.. all learnt how to do it from your course. Really appreciate it
I normally put photography away for the summer, but you are inspiring me to get out and capture the season. I have learnt so much from you and you keep on giving in every video, Thanks
Hi Mads, yellow, blue and green, what a superb image, it said it all. My wife and I had a long weekend in Lincolnshire recently. The county is quite flat and has very rich soil and everything just wanted to grow when we were there. Something that neither of us had seen before, was a field of flax with beautiful, glistening soft blue/violet flowers. I thought of your rape seed photographs Mads as we spent some time there just enjoying the scene and photographing. Have a good one.
As always, Mads, beautiful work! It never ceases to amaze me the feelings of peace and calm that come over me when viewing your photos. Truly amazing! I am also glad to see your willingness to embrace a plain, sunny, blue sky day. So many "professional" photographers insist that you must have moody, dramatic skies and that a cloudless sky is the bane of the landscape photographer. Not even worth getting out of bed for! Your work, on the other hand, shows that quite the opposite is true. You just have to know how and when to use it. Well done!
Thanks a lot, Doug. Even though I primarily enjoy the foggy and atmospheric mornings the most, at this time of year these blue skies aren't too bad for photography :)
Don’t sign up for giveaways. That’s the best answer to keep safe. Thanks Mads Peter for the heads up. I really liked the yellow, green with the blue sky. You make me realize I need to shoot vertical more often. Great images and the use of the drone is brilliant.
Mads, great video! Many photographers do not like summer as the lighting can be a challenge, but you show how to embrace what you have and can still make beautiful art. Thanks and keep snapping!
Mads, your timing on this video is epic! I've been shooting locally (Virginia, USA), and am often out in the middle of the day. It's challenging because of the harsh light, but this video "gives permission" (and good ideas) to shoot then. Beautiful images and a liberating philosophy...what more can you ask of a Sunday morning!! Thanks much!
Beautiful photos and drone videos... Great content as usual. Would have really liked to see a long exposure or low shutter speed blend of the windmills in the pics...not sure how it would have looked with the rest of the pic.
Hilarious! Where I'm at, people can't stand dandelions, and spay for them as weeds as much as they can. My bees absolutely love these flowers, and they make some delicious honey.
Hi Mads, your summer photos are brilliant - as well as your photos of the other times of the year in all the videos before. But your drone photos in this video were even better!! The composition of the lines were outstanding! I like!! Keep going your way!!
These images are very beautiful? The yellow flowers in the field with the wind turbines I really like? and the lighthose with a painterly clouds looks like a work of art. Photographing with a telephoto lens it does fill the frame and brings you close to the subject. Good work Mads Peter Iversen.
This was a great watch. Here in Alberta I am literally surrounded by canola/rapeseed and am planning to do exactly this kind of thing. Thank you for the inspiration!
A really wonderful, inspirational video Mads. Wind turbine art? Shooting in the mid-day sun? Who knew! You demonstrate perfectly how incredible landscape images can be captured without relying on the light from the edges of the day or being in a rugged, wilderness landscape setting!
Hi Mads, a massive thank you for all the Iceland videos not to mention the technical teaching vids. Going in 2 weeks and I'm so excited. Not only are you an amazing vlogger, your photo's are amazing too!
PS: Your danger warnings are brilliant... I will never ever walk on a glacier without a guide after you described a potential horrific and painful death in detail :)
Thank you for some great inspiration for summer photography. In Florida there is a huge sunflower field that will be blooming soon and I plan to do some photography there after seeing your fields of yellow.
@@MadsPeterIversen Yes, your English is far better than my Danish - but it's DandeLIONS not DandeLOINS (rhymes with Coins) @ 01:58 Haha! Photos are great too😉
Great stuff, Mads 👏🏻👏🏻As others have said, great inspiration. I have also tried to see the great things to photograph in Summer as many people think it’s a terrible time, but there are actually many opportunities we miss out on if we don’t get out with the camera.
I got the scam... knew it was a scam instantly !! Love the green/yellow shot AND the tractor tracks !! great job on english btw.. ask me how much Danish I know... {crickets}. You could make a case that the windmills are looking into the frame and make the eye cross the frame... the clouds balance that perspective. It works!!
Another great and inspirational video Mads. You turn what look like ordinary scenes into such beautiful images. I can't believe that a field of dandelions could look so wonderful. Really love the "little collection" too.
your video`s are always inspiring. I love spring here in Australia, Canola flowers down south. Love them but I need to find more of a focal point. and your video today pointed that out very well today.
Hi Mads, I'm really enjoying the books on landscape and composition! Yes I can relate to the fields in bloom here in the US plains we have several different crops sunflowers are one of those red clover is another your videos along with the books have given me some good ideas for compositions in my area of "the sunflower 🌻 state " otherwise known as Kansas. Thank you for the video and written education I calmly yet eagerly await the next video.
The yellow and blue colours certainly are prominent colours at the moment Mads and was great you shared a number of beautiful images in todays video.. The rape seed fields really set the scene perfectly and loved the image with the lighthouse and your images with the birds.
Excellent Mads! You gave us a lot of inspiration about how we can use the colour of fields to create artwork. I must search out similar subjects near to me.
Lovely photography. Denmark is not so dramatic in landscape as other places with mountains and rocky land, but it means that subtlety and simplicity can be an elegant way to make beautiful images and you certainly have a talent for that. Great video and nice approach to photography....
Great video... as usual! Thanks for the inspiration for summer photography! By the way, because we are in the field of "you or not you" :), do you have been to Levi just before last Christmas?
The danish landscape and nature is beautiful, its just not always easy when you dont have a car or drivers license. But I'm trying my best when im out. Great Video btw.
Aww man... what I'd give for a summer like that! 😀 It's technically still spring now, but here (deep south US) already we're reaching the mid-90sF (30-35C) and very humid. I love daytime, bright sunshine images but it's so challenging to get good results. Great video.
With so many rapeseed fields, I hope that the price of oil will drop a little, because if it continues like this, the currency will no longer be the Danish krone but the bottle of oil.
Beautifully simple shots but still quite technical. I love the inclusion of the Rooks and if you hadn’t told us who would know 😉 I must remember to use a polariser in these types of situations, great Vlog Mads 👌
Inspiring video as usual. Thank you! However, I have to say that seeing these vast monoculture fields makes me quite sad when thinking about it from the wildlife perspective. I can only imagine how many insects and other animals used to habit those areas before human decided to plant ripeseed all over the meadows and forests and whatever was naturally growing there.
To Americans, dandelions signify ruined lawns. 😆 Beautiful images as usual. Most of us think of summer as the worst season for landscape photography. Thanks for proving us wrong. P.S. - Prava Ukraine!
A beautiful country and you’re doing a terrific job of recording that beauty! Re the scammers: Bad as they are, it’s kind of flattering - they only attack the top RUclipsrs. In this case, you and Thomas Heaton.
Great great video Mads! i have a question. i'm planning my iceland trip and i want to take my gear in the backpack in carry on luggage, did you had any problems with the Lowepro Pro Tactic 450W size being just over the sizes for the icelander flight company? keep the good work, have fun!
