The robbery thing happened to my uncle. He went picking up friends so they all could hang out, like normal. Little did he know the stop at the bank was a robbery and he was the get away car. He was arrested as well, and then released, as he was completely innocent.
You should always use your own means of transportation to get to a first date. Don't ever pick anyone up, and don't ever get in their car. Meet somewhere public, well lit, and in a safe part of town that has a lot of traffic. Let a trusted person know where you are or share your location with them. Give updates throughout the night. It is a crazy world out there, better safe than sorry. Anyone that takes offense to you being precautious with a stranger does not mean you well.

The robbery thing happened to my uncle. He went picking up friends so they all could hang out, like normal. Little did he know the stop at the bank was a robbery and he was the get away car. He was arrested as well, and then released, as he was completely innocent.

You should always use your own means of transportation to get to a first date. Don't ever pick anyone up, and don't ever get in their car. Meet somewhere public, well lit, and in a safe part of town that has a lot of traffic. Let a trusted person know where you are or share your location with them. Give updates throughout the night. It is a crazy world out there, better safe than sorry. Anyone that takes offense to you being precautious with a stranger does not mean you well.
