If it's not their husband/ boyfriend, why are they so invested in the way a private business owner
runs their establishment? Better yet, why go where you are not wanted? That's like BLK people
attending a Klan rally and complaining about the content. Why go only to be disturbed? The first Amendment
right that many people hide behind when they want to do their thing is being exercised by a
      private entity.
It's like a guy attending a female engagement for hair and nails and feeling
some kind of way because the women are looking at him crooked. What is your point and
purpose of being at such an event? Makes the guy look suspect if you ask me.
I'm all for equal rights, civil rights yada yada. But this whole feminist movement agenda will
be the root to all evil coming to you soon. I mean to a point we get that the "Me too" movement
was necessary. But when people start abusing the system and creating a discord between
race, sex, gender we can't get to The Bill Of Rights and all that comes with that. A business
owner wanting men to be his agenda or them is his right, it's not personal and takes nothing
away from a woman's right to be all she can do on her own watch.

I’m with Amanda and Loni on this one. If my man needs his time at his barbershop where he can cut up and whatever (as long as he isn’t doing anything questionable), that’s HIS time and I’m not gonna intrude upon that. When I was a child, I never went into my father’s barbershop and the only time I would see my father when I got my hair done was when he’d drop me off and pick me up.

I think for certain spaces... it’s ok to acknowledge that each space has a certain sense of openness and some type of family vibe... like Amanda said... so if a woman can be in the beauty shop and talk about they relationships or whatever without men interfering or being “ skeptical “ of what kind of convos their having then so can men... if there’s a sense of it being a safe space for sisterhood or brotherhood then let them have that time...

And her husband have been together for a very long time, part of the couples, Adrian has barely been with her baby little husband for four years, I would be more of a red flag to me. Maybe you should keep your racist comments to yourself for sure if somebody made a backwards comment like that you would have something negative to say. Men need some space too, to vent to talk to other men. There’s a lot of things I talk with my sisters or girls cousins about that I don’t really talk about with my husband Bc there’s just some things women to women need to talk about and men have the same thing. Come on wives we can give our husbands the barbershops AT LEAST 😂

I don’t go every time, as I agree he needs his space, but sometimes my boyfriend is like Adam and he wants my input. Plus, if we have a son one day, I would want his dad to take him to a place where I wouldn’t have to worry whether the conversations happening are too mature for him.

Nah, I get the brotherhood, but this isn’t a good a idea because in certain states, there are certain classes of people that are not legally protected from being discriminated against for businesses that are not public accommodations. Specifically most of these states are in the south. So if this no woman in the barbershop is deemed okay, then other private businesses can start doing the same thing. Like no women in the video game store, or no blacks in this part of the store. It’s starts a precedent that certain discrimination is okay and NO discrimination should ever be normalized. Let it be her choice!!!

As a female barber, some owners prefer to have a family environment for their shop and others don't.
I've only ever worked at family environment barber shops where wives and girlfriends are welcome to sit in the waiting area and have a drink while their man gets a cut
We give beers to the adults (in koozies)
And sodas/rootbeers for anyone under 21
    All on the house, too
at that point it's just the owner's preference and how they want to display their shop to the public as well as what type of clientele they wish to attract
