My mom gave me the advice that Tam is talking about here: let your happiness and success be your revenge. Have I thought about driving by his house and egging his car? Sure! But since he already wasted so much of my time, heart, money and mind, I’ll never give him the satisfaction of any more of any of that. I’m worth so much more than being treated that way, and I’ve finally found a real man who cherishes all of me.
