- Originally I was going to post this to my Facebook page, but felt the location was so special It deserves to be featured on my main RUclips channel! We discovered an absolutely unbelievable collection of abandoned military vehicles tucked alongside a main railway line. It’s unclear exactly how long they have been parked up for, some have clearly been there for many many years! Hopefully one daybtbey can be saved, but for now they will just be collecting dust, rust & cobwebs! Hope you enjoy this weeks videos guys 🙂

The tanks you see have been used for Kerosin, at the 9 min mark you have a mobile Aviator Fuelpump Station. With these you would pump the kerosion out of the kerosin tanks into an airplane. At the 13:25 min the Odometer shows 58.527,5 km. The yellow number stand for Meters not Kilometers...
@4.39, a Tachograph, that surprises me as i would have thought Military vehicles would be exempt & not have them fitted
Hi guys those truck with the gear on are fueltrucks for filling plane's and stuff, they would have a trailer with one of those tanks on.
Mr hewes needs to see this
I have to say that whilst I love old cars, old military vehicles aren't my thing. And yet your enthusiasm made me really enjoy this video, nice one 😊
You always create fantastic content Colin 👍
Hi Colin and Ashley. Hope your doing good.
That was so cool seeing all those trucks.
Hi Colin another great video, abit different this one. You really think something could be done with those trucks. The ones with the circular device on the back of the cab and all the gauges was a refueling truck, the pipe would have been wound around the circular device.Great commentary again Colin your enthusiasm always comes across and makes the videos more enjoyable, Even had train on this one(sorry I am abit of a train geek) Look forward to next weeks.Take care.😀
Thats how sick this planet is Thanks for the video regards from Holland
I want one of those 6x6’s for an overlander
Some cool military vehicles there Colin beasts of the army ...heavy too good video 👍
F34 is aviation jet fuel
We knew it by many other names , such as ; Avtur , Avgas , Avtag , and the worst of the bunch , Avpin , a rather volatile fluid used for starting the old English Electric ( BAC ) Lightnings . Almost as dangerous as , Nitro Glycerine if not handled correctly .
Graveyard heaven , or should I say what a waste! There will be more vehicles dumped than people soon!! Fascinating find Colin.
Got to be one of my favs on our road trip!! Awesome video 😊
A bit different this week Colin, absolutely amazing though x stay safe x
Wow great collection. Ghost Cemetary for the military
Hi Colin, I recognised the badge on the first trucks from my early Majorette diecast toy cars in the 70’s. They’re Magirus Deutz if I’m correct. The later Iveco could also be Iveco Magirus from the 80’s
Those trucks are amazing some are rare especially those magraus deutz and those old Renault trucks , could be reused sad to see them abandoned
Storage tankers for petrol and diesel
Hi Colin great explore there mate that last truck you got in actually had the gearbox pattern on the dashboard
Thanks for the interesting video on my Sunday morning
Sad to see, thwy could have been reused for other things. Vwry unique site. You must have a cool radar sensor for these locations Colin. Hi to your friend. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh I hope the ground isn't contaminated 😮 Wow what a find.
Amazing find, some cool stuff, but sad to see it left there. I bet it would not take much to get them running.
Thanks for the video
Oh wow a great explore, were the rounds holes, on the side of the vehicles, bullets holes? I wonder if any of them were use in films too? .
kerosene is used in jet engines
colin the hatch in the roof is not only for escape if the vehicle turns over its for a gunner.
At the beginning it said on the tanks “kerosine”
Another great find Colin-noticed the word Kerosin on the tanks at the start of the video. This is the German spelling of Kerosene which was probably the fuel used to run these vehiicles. Love the videos.
Kerosine equals Jet A1 =jet fuel.
They do run diesel trucks on Jet A1 in Antarctica but not in Europe, the trucks that had these tanks on the back used to refuel jets on an airbase.
Hi Colin one of those vehicles that you looked at one would have been a mobile petrol tanker, I love seeing the abandoned Military vehicles
Wow like you said ton's of scrappy scrappy Colin y'all 😂 good find once again thank you for bringing great content to us all 😎👍❤
Great vedio
Some Left overs from "Desert Storm" maybe..?
How do you find these locations Colin ? I love stuff like this and would absolutely love to visit some of these places you showcase on your channel
The blue Mercedes looks like a Unimog
Goes to show what tax payers money is wasted on 🤔
They were bought from military auctions. The side itself is not abandoned, I'm pretty sure.
They are not British
@@roomullan3050 still European and we most of us still pay taxes!
I just don’t see what privately owned redundant vehicles have to do with the tax payer
@@roomullan3050 maybe privately owned now! But sold/disposed of for how much by the relevant government.
Tanks looked like stainless steel or aluminum dang
I think they are sitting there incase of major emergency, and will be put back into action when they are needed.
Shame you don’t put a drone over, interesting to see still 😁
I think the pump is called a gulper and used to rain flooded areas. There would have originally been a hose on that wheel.
Realy nice vid the tractor unit with the pump and real is off an aircraft refueler and yes the tanker bodies wear used to carry fuel also i think by that train that went past you where not in the UK lol
The last Renault you thought had 565000 only had 56000 km 40000 miles the last amber digit is 10ths of a km
Where do you find these locations, I would love to visit.
Great video where is a bit short though anyway I watched this on Sunday the 1st of September 23
Awesomeness!!! What town is this?
Ukraine could sure do with these vehicles at the moment, might be a goal to pursue Colin!
Sad to see…many a good time driving those….incredible find tho, cheers
F-34 is aviation fuel
8 think those tanks are called 'Bowsers' and are life onto the lorries to transport diesel or petrol.
I used to drive one in the 1980's to refuel plant vehicles in a steel producing plant in South Wales.
Those military vehicles obviously must be in Germany or something because in certainly not in England
I wonder if you are allowed to own one of those trucks. Fun to roll up at Tesco's in it to do the shopping.
Those big 6×6 trucks were made by ÖAF factory in Austria, I guess.
I was thinking the first ones were Magirus Deutz but I could be wrong
"I think they’re fuel tanks, but I’m not sure." Mate, it quite plainly says ‘Kerosene’ on several of them. 🤷♂️
I think you'll find Colin the military vehicles for supplying diesel in the field some using desert Storm and in the Falklands built by Mercedes-Benz and Renault fuel if you had a tank in the field you had to be supplied with fuel that's what they were used for wacker mobile fuel pump work to death just ready for scrap as always calling great video all the best my friend Tony and Helen❤❤
u might said islas malvinas...from argentina...stole by pirates, i know if england stole somethin from america is ok, if is this happen at europe like with the peñon of gibraltar, u ppl would say ohh gooddd thouuuseee dirty bastarddsss XDDD
What are you talking about I don't understand you it's just nonsense you ought to learn to speak English before you make comments
Where was this filmed? Wish i could pick one up and make use of it instead they sit there rotting 😮
One of the Tanks has KFOR on it - NATO Peace Keeping force in Kosovo.
They are old prototype beard oil tanks from the days before people had to define themselves by their facial fuzz . They were prepared for this some time back 😂😂😂
F-34 is a military kerosene type aviation turbine fuel with Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (FSII) (NOTE 1) used by land based military gas turbine engined aircraft in all NATO countries. (NOTE 2) Also known as JP-8 or AVTUR/FSII.
JET A-1 or AVTUR + Additives (NOTE 3) = JP-8 or AVTUR/FSII.
The first few are from upper Austria they are for transporting person you see the benches in the middle they are made in a factory in steyr
Fina lastbilar 😀🇸🇪
Troop carriers or ammunition carriers
Where is that place, i would really like to go there
13.5min in your mistake 58000km for 580,000. Please, the detail is important. 🤷♂️
Clearly shows 585,275 🤷♂️
@@dadcars... doesn't the yellow number represent fractions of a km...?
How is it important!!! Perhaps u should set up your own channel if u think u can do better NOS
@@user-yg2vw8cc8c I agree 🙌
Jelcz or man 6x6 trucks
Was that filmed in England ?
There are some fantastic old military vehicles there, just sitting doing nothing. Some of these would be very useful in the Ukraine, if they were recommissioned. A fascinating video, all round.
Looks like someone was buying them up: I saw Belgian and Austrian markings.
Someone will own them , and I bet you with a fresh battery and jumper pack, along with some clean fuel each one of those would fire up fine .
ruclips.net/video/9HO3NnXgWRI/видео.html
Reel mechanism for a fuel hose.
Tax dollars at work ty brother for adventure
Could someone please let me know the location of this video Thank you.
Take them home
My money is on being abandoned East German post 80s army surplus
Well built but obsolete
I take it this is in France?
Dear Colin, please tell me @ 1:01 that is not a vape your assistant is holding, these are the next generation of tobacco products that has / is devestated mankind .😩.
Yes your right these are the next disaster happening now , one of my Cousins has serious health problems due them ......open sores that won't heal..horrendous
They are fuel tankers
You have found a refueling fleet tankers and pumps alot of these trucks were used while building channel tunnel rail link some for fuel some for water nice one 😊
Refuelling equipment?
Thats not in the uk judging by the writing on the cab door
aero fue;l
You know we put into the United Nations pot 🤷🏻♂️
We pay for that and the storage it’s scrap now
@11:13 looks like a Magirus Deutz aircooled engine.
😊
How can I get a pm to you please
They're not good for much beyond their original purpose and by the time they're sold for salvage may be even more useless. Refuelling equipment as most of those appear to be are pretty much scrap. Clear shots of the vehicles taken from standing (for example) on some of them would make identification of the basic chassis easy and the cabs should have data plates with stock numbers. It's common for buyers to store vehicles then life and economic swings interfere with making money from them. Local records will show who owns that land.
Ça me fait penser au site, entre Valence et Grenoble , en France ! Si je peux me permettre, ta caméra est trop au sol! On a peu de vues semi- lointaines!
They look like German and Belgian army trucks. I guess someone bought the whole lot in Europe.
the f34 is a kerosene type of aviation fuel . what a waste of good vehicles.
F-34 is a NATO standard for jet fuel
Get them revamped and send them to the Ukraine
Send them to Hawaii, to the families that lost there homes. So they can be sold and be towards rebuilding. Like America has its own problems, Ukraine got more then enough from UK, Germany, billions from America, etc.
Ukraine wants to fight an endless war that's on them
😢😡
Hope they are not radiation contaminated from Chernobyl that they put out there
to bad those are just rusting away . it s something that should all be donated to stop the war . Tanks dont win wars transport trucks like this do .
I bet the Ukraine military would put it all to good use rather than rotting away in a field!
Agreed.❤❤
best comment so far XDD
Bought for export, but thing didn’t work out.
