Land Rover is a series 1 107 wheelbase which was the first LWB… it’s also well worth restoring as they are rare now, they aren’t like cars as you said… unbolt it and new chassis and bulkhead and you’ll be on the way!
The FSO Polenez was a reasonably common sight throughout the 80s. Lada were still producing the Riva, then Proton came along boasting trpple valve technology on their engines. Haha, great days.
That Landy's definitely worth restoring. It's a long wheelbase Series 1. Prices have gone nuts since they stopped making Defenders.
Had fun filming with you again !! Enjoyed your video of it😊🔥
Wow what a crazy location. Imagine how many cars you might have missed because they're so hidden in the bushes
That is a serious one land rover Serious one
OMG a Ford Thames. Awesome van . I owed 1958 Thames .Loved it
I like the old Land Rover truck👍😎👏👏
What an interesting location, lost in time . There were some fascinating old vehicles there. I bet there were lots more hidden in the undergrowth. Thanks for taking us on this great explore.
The last vehicle the early transit is in relatively good shape . Take the cab off the chassis and use it for another build. They are so rare now
Another great video!
That old series 1 land rover is a real find!!
I love Bedfords . I had a pair of TK cattle trucks and a Tk horse truck . Great machines!!
Great explore Colin 😎
Good to see Ben too.
Also Jem from LA on her first explore 🤜🤛
There must be an absolute fortune still in parts at that place 🙏
Just when you think all the UK locations have been found you pull this one out of the bag , makes you wonder how many more are out there,
Hi Colin, Ben & Gem. Hope your all doing good.
I've never seen so many abandoned trucks & vans in one place. They were so cool to see.
One bangin video.
Take care and stay safe.
Some good stuff Colin still the cars are well gone and the trees rampant ...cool search though ....looking forward to this year's places on your channel ....HNY ...
Great video! I’ve done a little research and this is literally five minutes from my door, how have I never known about this one?!
@13.27, Ford Thames 400E, the forerunner to the Transit
@11.01, Commer TS3 (3 Cylinder supercharged two stroke), T.S=Tilling Stevens, 3=3 cylinder), look up on youtube Commer TS3 & you'll see some engines
Good one, keep up the good work for a Very Very long time !!
@28.07, Austin/Morris JU250, the 'U' stood for 'Underfloor' engine
What an interesting find that was.Real vehicles from the past.x
Colin, what a brilliant discovery! Have you ever found an Animal nesting in any of the vehicles? Again what a shame to have so many cars etc being left to rot. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. Poor Gem you are cruel 🤣
Great video always entertaining I thought to suggest to you that when walking through overgrown areas like these, at least I would wrap the bottom of my pants at the ankles with some duct tape (once or twice) this would keep bugs from crawling up the inside of my pants
He Is not in the amazon jungle..haha
@@andrewdodd9507 Actually 07 is right! Your reply sound like from someone who doesn't leave the living room Lol (roaches, beetles, etc)
Thanks for that. The Thames Trader is my favourite truck of all time.
The series one Land Rover is rare LWB. Definitely worth saving. 👍👍

Another great find Colin, the Peugeot was a 106, the van remains possibly an Austin J2, the Sexton lorry, a Bedford R type, Bedford CA van close by to name but a few!
It is a JU250, you can tell by the more bulbus nose

@18.25/18.37 on the pile Light Grey A30 or A35 van
As for russian it's very interesting to see foreign cars, especially old cars. I like your channel! Did you ever found a soviet cars?
Hi the remains of that van looks like a CA Bedford van by the look of those rear lights
Best part is: There is lonely lady standing in the middle of bush, alone. I have seen movies about that. There was no good endings in those..
That blue car was a Austin maxi 1850
Those were the days! A Sad feeling 😟
An FSO 😍😍
600th like! Great Vid Colin
Thames van was a 1964. Checked out the reg of this and the trader on dvla. No record ,so they must have been notified as scrapped.
Id like to explore with you.
Love this stuff sadly old yards dissaperng quickly my nether has just started a RUclips channel called rusty commercials he gets a lot of old ww2 stuff mainly American gmcs and a thew classic cars I’d love it if you had a look cheers lee

Van at 28:06 is an Austin JU
Yet another great video, how some of those cars and vans are still recognizable is beyond me. Well done just to be able to explore that jungle.Really look forward to your next one.I still watch some of your old videos while waiting for new ones.I really enjoy them.😀
Isnt it crazy how these cars just literally get absorbed into the earth
How much days is 2nd of July 23
beware of the bears in UK !))😁
People were so beware that they baited and killed them all off about 300 years ago.
I think vauxhall should have kept bedford theres still a market where they could sell
Not sure but the mini bus by the Thames Trader looked like an Austin and the one that looked like a bomb had gone off looked like an Austin Maxi.
Morris 1800 landcrab
Yep, Austin J4 minibus.
Drove a Thames Trader in the sixties. Column change, 3 forward gears. Linkage for reverse was broke all the time we had it. Someone had to slide underneath and knock the linkage into reverse with a hammer. Happy days
That would make you positively ancient by now James!
@@rumcove07 Not a spring chicken anymore and it was the late sixties. Funnily enough our successor to the trader was a first generation Diesel Transit the exact same colour as the one in the video
The Thames Trader was not a column change, the 400E Thames was
I think the cars next to the land rover was a larder
I love your videos
Freaks me out stuff like this to think someone has passed away and left all this.
a think it was the wrong time of year for that explore, stingy nettles everywhere.?
hey , where can I meet up with jem ?
Poor old cars just rusting away. What a waste. Watch where you step, don't know what might be under your feet. Be careful.
Someone leaned that bicycle there and had no idea it wouldn’t move again for over 50 years.
Lol 😂 FSO
The lord Giveth and the Lord taketh away
Thames was made by Ford
I assure you that Polonez is not the worst car in the world. Don't believe Clarkson. It's nice that you found a second Polonez, FSO fans from the UK will be happy. Regards!
However, the real worst car sold in the UK was the totally unlovely Wartburg!
There's some Thames traders, fordson vans restored, hopefully they are not rotting away abandoned, that pso polanez its a shame there's non restored although it's the worst car made
That Land Rover is salvageable on the Xbox I'm not even the Mechanic but I even I know it is all you would do is you would why don't you owns it so you would have to clear a lot of the mess and some of the cars out the way put it on the trailer low loader get it to clean it off first put on the low loader once you got it to where you're going you start stripping it Dan you find out what needs to be done any metal let's ride through you replace it with new metal
Watch this second of July 23 oh it's gone
Polonez definitely wasn't the "the most famous worst car ever built". Not even close.
I only ask one thing. How and why does this happen? Another question, what state of mind was the person or (persons) when all this was happening over a period of decades?
Thats just mean on the gal.
Them fso were bad but they made good racecars for banger racing
Trader truck again made by Ford
you rotters winding her up lol
thames trader
that van could be saved.
Norfolk ???
The lorry was from norwich so god knows
@@vintagetamiya3593 Most of the registrations numbers were Norwich. I would say, YES. The lorry "Sexton's" was from Rose Lane, in Norwich, I agree.
Its so sad to see all these rar cars rusting around ...
