@@shady8045 We just had our first game of the season Friday! The band was more excited than anyone else was, even though we lost😂 Sometimes it's hard cheering for a team that sucks, but we do it anyway...
That's funny our whole band hates football games
Our football team is literal ass so we just disregard them completely and play whatever lol

This was amazing, in my HS Band, for our drum break we have tenors and snares play the beginning of the Super Mario theme and then jump straight to the ending, it sounds good to when we do it, but y'all we're awesome!

This Drum Major went on after high school to serve as Drum Major for a major university! He did an awesome job at OMHS!

One of our tubas asked a girl to homecoming with the song last season so now we do it at every game for football and basketball. but he is the only on that plays it. we all sing

AMAZING! so glad this popped up on my page. Gave me a good flashback to last year's marching band season! Everyone practicially begged the director to allow them to play Hey Baby during the games and he allowed us only if we perfected the movements. Safe to say that there was a major cheer and roar after we finally did it! 🎉
The woodwinds would never play but we’d sing a cappella alongside the brass part. It got even better when we’d sing “heeyyyyyy baby! “Hey baby!” I wanna know if you’ll be my girl” and then just go back to the a cappella singing

One time at a competition our band was in the stands after our performance and the next band was directed by our director’s fiancée and as they were walking past us onto the field to perform we all whisper-sang this 😂
I wish my drum line could do these things (especially jig 2) but we are so small. Our band director even said she would let us do these things but it wouldn't sound right since we only have 2 snares, 2 bases, 1 cymbal, and 1 quad. Hopefully next year we will get more people😔

This band is great... I play quad and I’ll be in high school next year, and our 8th grade drumline is already learning JIG 2.
My football season was last month and had so much fun I look forward to the next 3 seasons
i’ll never forget Me and my Section Absolutely blasting the tuba solo together those were the days
been out of school for 2y now and i miss walking back to the band room while brass played this in the halls, good times, good times

Our marching band has one game where 8th graders come and play a song with us during pregame and we are playing this
We have one game where 8th graders play stand tunes with us until after halftime and we’ll probably play this, land of 1000, runaway baby, 7 nation, and crazy train.
I’m an 8th grader and we did that about a month ago. It was loads of fun, wish we did this though.
We’re playing this at our first game tonight!!

We were watching some of the Clips from The Oak Mountain HS Marching Band to show our Son who is with The Pride of Wewoka (Wewoka Oklahoma) some of the New Songs they will be playing this year with our New Band Director he is excited, and we Love this Band we are watching they are REALLY GOOD!

@@GameMaster-pz9pw band camp was super fun while it lasted, sadly it got cut short because two people got the virus and our Director didn’t want anyone else getting sick so he shut camp down. I learned a lot though and I’m grateful for the fun I had. How was camp for you?
