Thanks Steve. Excellent job. I followed your video and managed to install the clamps on David's and my saws this past week. You helped save a lot of time. They are amazing clamps.
We are just waiting for some tenoning tables but the expected arrival is October!!!!!!!! I'm almost finished doing the interior doors of my house. Whew Big job.
Hah! Literally just finished your Kreg clamp trick on my K700S yesterday (made up a wider "foot" for the clamp to rest on). Been eyeing these for awhile. Thanks for the video.
ExtremeWoodworker I don't have a lot of miles on it yet but so far great. I have had something similar, but it didn't have the reach of the Kreg, and tended to pull work away from the fence in some configurations. It also used a threaded nut to attach to the "t-nut". Your friend's scheme is much more convenient . Kudos. Interested to hear how you like the airtight after using them for awhile. I think my old Fritz & Franz is ready for an upgrade next :) I like the fences
Hi Tony. Mac is sending me a straight connector for the airline connection to the regulator to reduce stress on the hose. Look at your machine to see where you intend on mounting the regulator as you may want the same. Mounting on the end of the sliding table support was not an option on my machine. I have also ordered the kit to use the clamps on my shaper sliding table. Also, thank you for your generous offer to get a copy of the instruction manual on the other machine. Steve.
I like your no-nonsense focus on safety. IMO, too many recent woodworking videos on RUclips with cavalier attitudes about safety, excused by disclaimers that make it almost seem like you're a wimpy noob if you can't (or won't) do it the way they do. FWIW, my last woodworking injury was around 6 years ago, and was kickback on a traditional table saw that had a missing splitter. I bought an aftermarket splitter after that. It was also a big part of my decision to go with a slider this year.
When I see some bad form as far as safety on you tube videos, I usually make comments. So far everyone has been good at giving me a positive reply. I hope people don't think I'm pointing fingers, but I feel we are a community here and hopefully we all can stay safe. I too had my only real kickback recently on a conventional table saw without a splitter. I was very lucky. I have since purchased a slider with a splitter. Thanks for sharing your experience and comments.
Steve, where did you ultimately place the regulator? I finished my install today, and the support bar for the slider is alum as well. I have to place it pretty far back on the machine base and that puts a strain on the coiled air hose. I was thinking about possibly removing the magnet and screwing the regular in place under the front slider support arm.
Just received my Airtight clamps and installed them this week, great addition to my Felder K700S. Thanks for the videos Steve.
Thanks Steve. These make an awesome addition to any slider and the build quality is impeccable. Steve
I pilot a K700S at work and these have me drooling!
@@wilcogrundens9086 Hi Wilco. Mac's clamps are awesome and top notch quality. Steve

Glad to hear it Gary. Hope all is well with you and David. I assume you have all of your equipment now and hope you are enjoying it. Steve

Thanks Ron. I can't take credit for the Kreg clamp, it was from a friend who passed several years ago. How do you like it so far? Steve

Thanks for the installation video! Mine should be here in a week or so and you made it very easy.

Thank you for making this. Will refer back at time of purchase
Thanks Matt. You will not regret your purchase. Steve

Are the hoses 4mm or 6mm?

Hi Tony, I'll email a picture of my mounting location. Steve
