Trail braking is absolutely mint now (no crazy understeer the second you touch the brake) 8. Cars turn better in higher gears 9. Things ive noticed after Playing for Like 30 Minutes They Nerfed the Mazda 787 B but improved the Mercedes CLK LM Race Car Cars are more Sensitive to Acceleration Now Especially MR and Ferraris and Jaguars You gotto pay more Attention to the Stabilizers Settings and Race Brakes actually Raise the PP now. even more. Wow This really changed the Physics of the Game they were not kidding and Medium Raise Tires Rase the PP even more now and Sport Soft.

Does anyone notice a graphical difference? I think polyphony may have added ray tracing into the game full time, because colors look deeper and im noticing better reflections and light dispersion on textures
Generally with the new physics things feel better, but I jumped in the Tomahawk on the Special Stage X track and was getting some insane oscillations on the wheel (Logitech Pro). Like I had to very firmly hold it otherwise it bounced from side to side like crazy, even when going perfectly straight on a flat section of track. Granted this car was going 600 km/h, so maybe that's the new physics engine saying that this is silly and no car can really do that
I tuned an engine swapped C4 Corvette for the Clubman Club 720 event at Special Stage Route X. After the update and physics change, the PP rating is now an exclamation mark. I think the new physics is basically saying the car is no longer drivable in its current tune. I tried different settings but to no avail.
There are some PP issues I'm noticing. Whenever I tune a car specifically, the PP level is gone! Maybe it's a bug that Polyphony needs to fix later on.
My entire thoughts on the update will drop later down the line plus my uploads covering everything in each update will typically give you a hint at how I feel as I cover each part, it's almost impossible to make a fully informed decision within hours of an update. Plus these videos are made when the servers are down to serve as coverage for everything included in the update.
I'm curious about how the Tsukuba One hour Mission was adjusted. Did they go harder or easier? Do I have to find out the hard way? Please don't make me.
tires get worn out faster. ALSO, WE can increase power at Sardegna for some cars. I found out with my MERCEDES LMP CLS. . SO check all ur cars for events where u might be able to do this

I appreciate the RUF car however the yellow bird is more iconic and more important car, we should of gotten that one instead, GT7 if your reading this consider more Shelby's GT500's
I was excited for the Scud and E36, was hopeful for E36 engine swaps, but all that and new Work wheels! Edit: The Swap is the fucking LS7 BRZ, not a 2JZ or god forbid they put the 1J in the game. They could have at least hive it the same Z4 GT3 engine as the other M3s. They've added some directional wheels for the left hand side of the car, but not the right hand side (if you know, you know). They did add 2 piece Meister S1's, but not the 3 piece that we all want. Still the 2 piece is feasible, unlike the 1 piece version that has been in the game.
I hope that with this physics update they solved that problem of steering wheels locking when u put pers suspension in cars... Am I the only one who experienced that? My worst cases are the: Peugeot 208 GTI BMW M3 Evo and Ford Sierra For example, if I lose control and counter steer to get the car back, the steering wheel in the game just turns a little bit, turning impossible to recover, and once the car stops it just Quickly transports the game's steering wheel position to the same position my steering wheel is facing as it should.
The Michelin tyres are shit when tyre wear is on. The performance ceiling is higher. So they are probably fast when tyre wear is off. When it's on though, they perform really well for the first two thirds, but they wear faster and they are toast at about 70% wear. Meaning you can't use the last 30% and have to throw them away as you're just hemorrhaging lap time. Not a good ad for Michelin.
I wish they could have done it without ruining every spec sheet. For all intent and purpose, they've basically forced everyone to start the game over again. As far as your time spent tuning goes. Not to mention the vehicles you could barely get within a particular PP speck. They're out of the question now. I'm not going through all that again. I've been doing it for 25 F'n years. I don't care if Evo comes out next month or next year, I think I'm going to go pick up a copy of ACC, and spin my spare time with it between now and then
Eiger snoreland is mid at best, I do like this version more than the GT6 version though I just miss the tunnel part of the track because it was my favourite part of the track so that part is a bummer but overall it’s still a “mid” track not necessarily a bad track but a mid track, it’s not like the OG classic GT tracks like special stage route 11 / Tokyo R246 / Seattle, those are the tracks that need to come back, did I forget to mention mid field race way? What about Smokey mountain

Can you please please please pay attention on your channel about the very annoying problem that was not addressed in the last previous Gran Turismo's. If the host in the lobby from the normal online races, leaves the lobby the lobby disappears. So everybody in that lobby have to find a new lobby. This happens very often, because people aren't sportive and different reasons they leave the lobby and the lobby is gone. It should be like before if the host step out of the lobby, the lobby stays exists then the next person is the host. Thanks a lot.
glad to see im not the only one annoyed by new physics, i finally got the hang of properly tuning suspension and they changed it, why did they even bother the physics were fine, should've just left it for off road races which nobody plays btw..
I think force feedback could use a tweak. My csl dd now feels as light as my old g29 used to, and it's on full load. It's just a tweak but I want it. The r5 turbo wasn't confidence inspiring, let's say.
I found a bug in this update😢: I just installed, bought 4 new cars and ran all 3 new races, and discovered my upgraded Abarth 500 now shows 'PP cannot be calculated'. This car is now rendered useless in all races. I did not check yet if other cars are also affected

That's a shame that they delete all times for licences and tracks etc. I have put in some good times and like to compare against my friends as I do them and them the same. I wonder if by adjusting time times the licences and circuit experience will be harder or easyer now? 🤔
Lol there's a reason why I don't max tuned my road cars, god knows what happens in each physic updates, I just leave my cars in low tier tuned, it helps improve my driving in this game

Tried drifting on wheel and all my tunes feel different and almost undriftable. Also most of my cars, which are street cars, dont even let me equip comfort hard tires and tells me “The car you are driving does not have a measurable PP and cant be driven here” in a free run lobby im hosting. Never encountered this issue and now half my drift cars are LITERALLY undrivable due to them apparently not having a measurable PP. so far terrible update experience besides new cars

Where has the tire smoke gone in the new game update?? For when you want to build a drift or car for power skids to have fun in the game, as amazing it is for a sim, for racing, I still want to have fun in the game as I do in real life. The game is a bit of a letdown now.......
I have been playing this series since GT 2. But everytime they re-introduce removed/slashed content it doesn't feel like we get NEW stuff. It's just fixing content which they "forgot" to add. The silly UI/menu issues (we have the possibility now) but not being able to select cars after you enter an online race is just meh. The menu's have been an issue in MOST itterations of the game...and they reverse/roll back earlier made advancements with new itterations of the game (GT7 was 2 or 3 steps back regarding menu options) They add competitions to tracks at a snail's pace (they could have added the WTC 600 cup to Atlanta when they introduced Atlanta, but meh....jus' lazy) Lacking info??? "We have added Micheling tyres (but no info if it makes a difference to performance or if it is just "make up", a sticker etc). Cheating opponents in off-line, also a running gag. Yeah they make a great game. But meh, dumbass Japanese choices.... EVERYTIME... P.S. Where is the BMW M1... the only real BMW racecar. But it is still not in the game.

Generally with the new physics things feel better, but I jumped in the Tomahawk on the Special Stage X track and was getting some insane oscillations on the wheel (Logitech Pro). Like I had to very firmly hold it otherwise it bounced from side to side like crazy, even when going perfectly straight on a flat section of track.
Granted this car was going 600 km/h, so maybe that's the new physics engine saying that this is silly and no car can really do that
I tuned an engine swapped C4 Corvette for the Clubman Club 720 event at Special Stage Route X. After the update and physics change, the PP rating is now an exclamation mark. I think the new physics is basically saying the car is no longer drivable in its current tune. I tried different settings but to no avail.

There are some PP issues I'm noticing. Whenever I tune a car specifically, the PP level is gone! Maybe it's a bug that Polyphony needs to fix later on.
I think it's bc of the changes in the physics, I had the same problem with my viper 13 with a Chiron engine but I has to downgrade it
I figured you'd play the game and tell us what you think of the changes.
My entire thoughts on the update will drop later down the line plus my uploads covering everything in each update will typically give you a hint at how I feel as I cover each part, it's almost impossible to make a fully informed decision within hours of an update.
Plus these videos are made when the servers are down to serve as coverage for everything included in the update.

My DD1 now set to the auto set up (AS) on the wheel base has made a huge difference.... FFB is great again....
tires get worn out faster. ALSO, WE can increase power at Sardegna for some cars. I found out with my MERCEDES LMP CLS. . SO check all ur cars for events where u might be able to do this

I appreciate the RUF car however the yellow bird is more iconic and more important car, we should of gotten that one instead, GT7 if your reading this consider more Shelby's GT500's
I was excited for the Scud and E36, was hopeful for E36 engine swaps, but all that and new Work wheels!
Edit: The Swap is the fucking LS7 BRZ, not a 2JZ or god forbid they put the 1J in the game. They could have at least hive it the same Z4 GT3 engine as the other M3s. They've added some directional wheels for the left hand side of the car, but not the right hand side (if you know, you know). They did add 2 piece Meister S1's, but not the 3 piece that we all want. Still the 2 piece is feasible, unlike the 1 piece version that has been in the game.

My worst cases are the:
Peugeot 208 GTI
BMW M3 Evo and
Ford Sierra
For example, if I lose control and counter steer to get the car back, the steering wheel in the game just turns a little bit, turning impossible to recover, and once the car stops it just Quickly transports the game's steering wheel position to the same position my steering wheel is facing as it should.
The Michelin tyres are shit when tyre wear is on. The performance ceiling is higher. So they are probably fast when tyre wear is off. When it's on though, they perform really well for the first two thirds, but they wear faster and they are toast at about 70% wear. Meaning you can't use the last 30% and have to throw them away as you're just hemorrhaging lap time. Not a good ad for Michelin.
Now my cars setup is damaged. Peugeot 908 not anymore 700 pp but 740, audi rs5 not 800 but 850.
I wish they could have done it without ruining every spec sheet.
For all intent and purpose, they've basically forced everyone to start the game over again. As far as your time spent tuning goes. Not to mention the vehicles you could barely get within a particular PP speck. They're out of the question now. I'm not going through all that again. I've been doing it for 25 F'n years. I don't care if Evo comes out next month or next year, I think I'm going to go pick up a copy of ACC, and spin my spare time with it between now and then
Eiger snoreland is mid at best, I do like this version more than the GT6 version though I just miss the tunnel part of the track because it was my favourite part of the track so that part is a bummer but overall it’s still a “mid” track not necessarily a bad track but a mid track, it’s not like the OG classic GT tracks like special stage route 11 / Tokyo R246 / Seattle, those are the tracks that need to come back, did I forget to mention mid field race way? What about Smokey mountain

Can you please please please pay attention on your channel about the very annoying problem that was not addressed in the last previous Gran Turismo's.
If the host in the lobby from the normal online races, leaves the lobby the lobby disappears.
So everybody in that lobby have to find a new lobby.
This happens very often, because people aren't sportive and different reasons they leave the lobby and the lobby is gone.
It should be like before if the host step out of the lobby, the lobby stays exists then the next person is the host.

glad to see im not the only one annoyed by new physics, i finally got the hang of properly tuning suspension and they changed it, why did they even bother the physics were fine, should've just left it for off road races which nobody plays btw..
I think force feedback could use a tweak. My csl dd now feels as light as my old g29 used to, and it's on full load. It's just a tweak but I want it. The r5 turbo wasn't confidence inspiring, let's say.

I found a bug in this update😢: I just installed, bought 4 new cars and ran all 3 new races, and discovered my upgraded Abarth 500 now shows 'PP cannot be calculated'. This car is now rendered useless in all races. I did not check yet if other cars are also affected
It's not a bug, it's intentional to patch glitched vehicles. There will be workarounds

Tried drifting on wheel and all my tunes feel different and almost undriftable. Also most of my cars, which are street cars, dont even let me equip comfort hard tires and tells me “The car you are driving does not have a measurable PP and cant be driven here” in a free run lobby im hosting. Never encountered this issue and now half my drift cars are LITERALLY undrivable due to them apparently not having a measurable PP. so far terrible update experience besides new cars
Any lobby i join gives me the same unmeasurable PP issue when trying to use CH tires.

The game is a bit of a letdown now.......
I have been playing this series since GT 2. But everytime they re-introduce removed/slashed content it doesn't feel like we get NEW stuff.
It's just fixing content which they "forgot" to add.
The silly UI/menu issues (we have the possibility now) but not being able to select cars after you enter an online race is just meh. The menu's have been an issue in MOST itterations of the game...and they reverse/roll back earlier made advancements with new itterations of the game (GT7 was 2 or 3 steps back regarding menu options)
They add competitions to tracks at a snail's pace (they could have added the WTC 600 cup to Atlanta when they introduced Atlanta, but meh....jus' lazy)

Meh. Bought everything, swapped, and tuned. Then drive around the new track for an hour or so and I got to say it’s slightly below average. 4/10 update. The Girthlord isn’t amused 😂.
