Many people attempt to play the blues, they play the notes and cord progressions, but miss the sutteldities that make the music truly come alive.

I almost feel guilty watching this for free. How can we be entertained for over an hour with such polished musicians for free? I'm just sitting here on my couch on a rainy Saturday night having more fun than if I was out among the masses. So amazing. Eric Demmer on the SAX. Of course, we've got Carlos Santana, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. I don't know who the keyboard player is. The drummer. The bass player. That trombone player was good. You know they are all top calibre musicians. Incredible.

If this music doesn't get shared somehow, it will be lost to potential new audiences and budding musicians. Certainly not a public good. Once the artist involved has joined the big band in the sky, which greedy corporation would you like to profit??

The first part of Okie Dokie Stomp was a drag, bass player told him the capo was on the wrong fret but that was a long ways in. That half step makes a big difference. I saw Gatemouth live many times and he was always great.

Celestial music, stellar artists and very professional mixing; unfortunately always the same problem with the bonobo responsible for the video editing. This frustrated apes try all the best tricks of their repertoire, to present themselves as the new "Oliver Stone" or "Sidney Lumet" in town.
I am intrigued by the scarcity of complaints about the neurotic way to assemble the video as a collage of pictures, maniacally repeated in the same order for an hour concert. The camera zooms on the guitarist focusing on the hands (when you lucky on both of them, otherwise the most talented cameraman would focus on just one finger that does not fit in the screen).
Henceforth a sequence of zooms throughout half the musician figure and a very short image of the whole stage from far away.
This keeps repeating compulsively for one hour. The whole show is reduced to a collections of faces, hands, microphones, guitar keys and do on. You'll never actually get a chance to enjoy the interaction between the band's components.
Once I asked to a guy responsible for the shooting of an important festival jazz in the Caribbean and he answered: "c'mon man... first of all after a couple of grams of cocaine U get active, moreover...I decide what folks watch on the video; that's my art and we are a part of the show as much as the musicians.
I never spoke to him again.
Some of the most neurologically challenged - as in the case of this video - go as far as to change the camera focus with the same speed of the melody tempo. Result is that normally functioning brain after 5 minutes is resolved to listen to the music without watching the screen.
