He’s got the Allan Holdsworth feel, simply amazing talent!
Yes! A lot of people talk about his Guthrie Govan, Nick Johnston, and Bumblefoot influence in his playing, but I’m almost certain Holdsworth is another one of his big influences, and you can definitely hear it! His legato of course and his hybrid picking are definitely big parts, but Max’s note choices and advanced harmonic language really do remind me a lot of Allan Holdsworth. 😁

It's hardly mindless when it accurately plays over the changes, incorporates arpeggios, chromaticism, timing, and nails the chord tones at all the right spots.
