Here is a video of my performance at the D’Addario Guitar Festival 2018, Moscow, NAMM Musikmesse Russia. Many thanks to Julia Rynkova for the opportunity to play on the same stage with the best guitarists!

What I love about this guy is that he's just being himself. He's not trying to conform to any preconceived notions of how he's meant to act or look. He's just doing Max Ostro. That's good enough. Oh, and he's killin' it on guitar. Respect.

do you realize how hard it is to play guitar when its freezing outside? This makes all of this 20x harder
yeah and its hard to stay in tune since your fingers keep warming the string but if you tuned it cold...
yeah and when it's hot my arm gets stuck on he body of the guitar and i mess up a lot becuase of it

Max is a good player and a great technical player. I only saw him for the first time today and I sent a video of him to a friend of mine who had been moaning about back pain that he reckoned was caused by years of gigging with a 'heavy' guitar... my point is that Max looks like he couldnt lift a guitar, but he does, and he is a great player!!

I'm a follower since his very first clips and still i find his works impossible to comment, Max is far beyond everithing I've ever heard and seen.
He makes it appear so effortless, like he’s throwing together a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Guitar players that play outside in that kind of cold deserve a whole different level of respect. If it's 50⁰f outside, I can barely feel my fingers and I sounds like it's my 1st day. This guy is likely playing with fingers a literal half a degree above freezing and acts like he doesn't even notice he's playing till a minute in after some shredtastic arpeggios and some speed tapping. Nice👍

What a talent. I first discovered max when i lost to this guy in an online riff competition. This was back when he was just 15 years old.

When he went on his knee I waited for the heaven and hell to melt together by the majesty and the power of his guitar. I’m not truly a fan of metal, but this guy is something special. Amazing.

He is not emotionless, he’s just incredibly focused and tensing muscles in the face looks expressive but at the same time increases tension in your muscular system which is all interconnected. So from a scientific point of view it makes total sense, but of course people like expressive performers.

this kid is sensational, hearing a lot of jason becker/marty friedman/cacophony in his work. clean, fast, melodic, and heavy... if this kid had started in the 1980's he'd be going everywhere in limo's.

you're forgetting one thing: Can he write songs? A guy like Warren Dimartini was an amazing lead player in the 80's but if he hadn't been able to write songs no one would probably really know him

Demostrar tal nivel y resaltar en un era que ya no es precisamente la era del rock es admirable. Hoy la industria de la música está sumergida en generos como la electrónica, el trap, el reggaeton y el pop pero este chico llega y demuestra que el rock sigue vivo. Posdata: No odio lo demás géneros nada que ver, solo esta claro que los mejores guitarristas fueron paridos en la era del rock.
La musica se trasmite por el talento de musicos y los que mencionastes No es musica es la verdad, esos tipos no tienen talento de nada no es musica
