    Awesome to hear about your background starting businesses. I can relate, I've done/tried blogging, selling tie dye shirts, social media marketing, website design, dropshipping, amazon fba, 3d printing, and probably a few more.
    The ones that made money for me were the tie dye shirts, amazon fba, and 3d printing. 3D Printing has made the most so far, and there's a wonderful opportunity to start and grow a fairly profitable business with this technology.
    One of the things I have learned is that, starting a business will point out weaknesses in my character, and will show me where I need to improve. Namely, consistency and self discipline. Mental health and physical health is also very important, and I have to take that seriously if I really want to do well.

    Love the entrepreneurial aspect of these videos! I can relate to you on a lot of levels. Same age, marketing degree, “normal job” , always hustling with different business ideas. And now slowly shifting from job to full time entrepreneur. Although not 3d stuff and not in the usa (The Netherlands) I run multiple webshops (woocommerce) that i have built myself. Love your videos and updates. As someone with a background in CAD and very little in the 3D aspect I myself have always wanted to learn 3D modeling more and purchase a 3D printer for personal use but also to get into starting a small printing business as some point selling designs. I finally took the plunge and purchased a Bambu labs A1 the other day and can not wait to get started. Feeling very inspired and thank you for sharing! keep up the awesome work!

    Try it out! If you ever have a podcast I'll join/listen 😂 I'm an amateur 3D printer and scientist. Don't be nervous about TPU slow it down a little and print on a cold bed, then heat for release. But with that Bambu you don't even have to mess with settings especially with the new Bambu TPU for AMs

    You should to use PETG for your drill batterie holder so that if the buyer as them out in a hot shop they won’t melt. I recommend Bambu lab PETG high flow it prints like PLA. Keep putting out good videos!!! Also Bambu lab has there Black Friday sail so you get your filament for like $16 if you buy 4 or more.

    Tpu shouldn’t be too bad on that thing. The a1 mini is direct drive so it should make quick work of it with the profiles. Make sure it’s dry, I know that sounds silly, but I use a filament dryer for it and it helps a ton!

    What are the odds you could turn these episodes into some form of a podcast? Nothing complicated, like literally just take the audio from the videos and upload it on Spotify. If it costs something to upload or if you have to go way out of your way don't worry about it, but if it's not a big deal it'd be awesome!

The basics of Fusion 360 can be learned in less than a day. Amazing opportunity 3d printing is! At this point, I'm really considering going all in with 3d printing and trying to make a living off it. No kids, no family, very little bills, so it could happen if I do it! Made $1700 revenue this year. Not great but shows it works

    I started a little Etsy shop myself pretty much out of boredom, kinda. I have always been interested in 3-D printing so I like many other people bought a P1S. At first, I printed a bunch of stuff for myself a bunch of organizational things around the house., flower pots for the wife. All the normal crap. Then I kind of ran out of things I wanted to print.
    I’ve always been pretty decent at selling things online in the past so I figured I may as well challenge myself to at least sell enough stuff to pay for this printer plus the AMS unit I bought for it. Well., I’ve been able to do that in about 30 days. And I’m sure I could’ve sold way more way faster at my price has been a little bit lower. In fact, I had to raise my price to try and stunt sales because I couldn’t quite keep up with just one printer. I’m now probably getting ready to pull the trigger on a second printer. I could probably do way more with just one printer if I worked from home and I was here to swap out prints as they were complete, but since I’m not, I do end up with a lot of idle time that’s where the second printer will help me.
    I only have one product too. It’s a light box for a college football team. It’s actually a four piece light box. And honestly, it’s not even really a light box because I don’t even put lights in the damn things people buy them anyway. The reason for that is, I just couldn’t find any lights that I was truly happy with. Plus with it being four different pieces. It starts to get tricky because you need conduit from one box to the other and you don’t want a wire hanging from each box for each individual set of lights. So if people are gonna buy these without the lights, that works out great for all of us. I don’t advertise them as light boxes, but that’s what they were designed for.
    I tell everyone the biggest difference between people actually making sales and doing the things they want to do is, they are actually JUST DOING IT. We all have the same tools, same 2 hands, same 2 feet. Just start something. If you can't design your own stuff in fusion, go on Fiver and hire someone. It doesn't cost much. As Nike says, JUST DO IT!
    I've subbed!

    • @OfficialOffDaBench
      @OfficialOffDaBench  5 дней назад

      Exactly! Congrats on your progress. One design requirement I've had since I started is the products should be finished when I pull them off the printer. That has helped a lot!

    I print in mostly PETG. Its much stronger than PLA and its a quite forgiving material.
    But maybe it will be worth getting a filament dryer just to make sure theyre ready for print before you swap out the spools.
    Great video, once again!

    • @OfficialOffDaBench
      @OfficialOffDaBench  5 дней назад +1

      Thanks! I am interested in PETG, maybe I'll try it out. Eventually I'd like to get another Bambu P1P or similar. The AMS unit will make it way easier to keep things dry.

    • @Maks-rr8ef
      @Maks-rr8ef 5 дней назад

      @OfficialOffDaBench yeah definetly! But dont be afraid to print PETG. its just as easy as PLA. Usually TPU and ABS/ASA are the trickier materials. Im sure the core xy upgrade will be neat. I think theyre still on sale for cheaper atm

    For the pegs, you orient them horizontall and design the pegs where they attach to bins instead of being connected from the start. That adds hands on time though, but will be stronger horizontally. Or you could just find some good hooks and then somehow slot the hooks into the bins?

    Just came across your channel. Nice videos and it's great to watch someone with experience, but not at several years if running the business yet so your struggles are more relatable.
    Two suggestions:
    1. Perhaps you can make how the camera follows you a bit less reactive so that it only does so when your movement reaches a certain threshold. That would calm down the shots considerably.
    2. Have you seen this automated build plate switcher for the A1 Mini? I think it would help you with overnight prints: ruclips.net/video/LCU5UjKnh0A/видео.htmlsi=D5sLvMvOD8fv23g8
