There are A 💩 ton of rolling trays that have childhood characters and newer cartoon characters on them and they sell good.
So I wouldn’t worry about what people think or say about the ashtray idea. I think It’s a great idea 👍

The skull is looking great ! - I often manually change filament while the printer is running... cut the old reel with snips and push the new end into the bowden tube ( follwoing the old filament ) and keep the pressure on until the extruder grabs it... zero issue with layer shift - can't tell where the filament changeover happens. You don't have to wait for the end of the current roll - just make sure there is a new roll in place so it won't run out while your not there.

So stoked about the giga. You are killing it with it! About the anxiety, it’s only for the prints first rodeo. If they’ve successfully printed before, not much need to worry for repeated prints. All about testing, on your successful prints, start cranking up the speed, increase your margins

I believe he means, on a brand new spool, look on the inside of it where the filament is poked through and layed over, clip the layed over section. Now when it gets to the end of the spool, it pulls off clean and doesn’t jam.

I've used hot water for tricky supports. It softens them to the point you can manipulate them and pull right off.

For your runout sensor issues..... what you need up stream of the run-out sensor is a 'tangle sensor'. This will detect where the filament snags or meets any resistance and the printer automatically pause the print with known position recorded and heat bed still on. You would have to configure your firmware to support it - try contacting Elegoo support to see if its possible.

I haven't noticed any issues with your audio. I guess maybe it could be normalized. I agree that the skull could tip over. I watched another youtube video that blew my mind. Supports aren't just for overhangs, but to stop things from tipping over. I have printed bobble heads and the head starts bobbling during the print. I could have put supports on the sides to stop it. BAM!

Gravity is just a theory, it has never been proven, so it is not real. It's density and buoyancy that causes things to fall or rise, depending if the thing is more or less dense than the air around it.
