    Cool! I have a truckload of pallets and just didn''t kow what to do with them. I think now I'll make a much needed backyard walkway using pallets and fence boards. Thanks for the idea!

    This was great!!!! Where I live I can't build on the lawn or anything that would alter the property, so I decided to build it on my driveway and this was perfect It looks simple and inexpensive. I will definitely try it out. Thank you for sharing.❤

    Such a smart idea! I may have to do this and treat the wood.

    I live in Florida. Good wind come along with nothing holding it down, disaster!

    You made it look easy! Would a level have been helpful? It looked level enough and you weren’t going for precision.
    What will you use to coat it? Thank you.

    Why didn't you add something underneath, to elevate the wood from the dirt so it can last longer

      Good point...depends on what kind of longevity is desired. I have had customers buy pallets from me that were renters and just wanted something to be for 2 years or less.
      The pallets could be sealed/treated for ground contact or pavers could be used underneath as well.

    Hi, this looks more economical than some of the other floating deck videos I've watched - any concerns w/ creepy crawlies getting underneath?

      Year round, about every 2 months, I treat my backyard for insects. In addition to that, in the spring and summer I use snake repellent also.

    Are these 6ft or 8ft fence boards

    • @djmac2013
      @djmac2013  3 месяца назад +1

      Great question! These were 8ft boards that were trimmed down to 88 inches. The pallets that I used were 44 in x 44 in.
