On the other hand, I feel a lot more confident on the GSX-R while doing higher speeds because it's lower to the ground and the riding positing is more aggressive and probably that's why gixxer riders are known for being reckless. I loved my Honda but I had to sell it because the parts where I live are too expensive and Suzuki parts are dirt cheap. The 2020 CBR600RR is my 4th bike and I'm in love with it. It does alot of things well and I have no problems keeping up with literbikes in the twistys.
I have a 1999 Honda CBR600F4. Bought it when I was 21 and still have it now at the age of 40. It has 107,000 Kms (or 66,486 miles) and I will keep it forever.
That engine has proved good in all the bikes it's in covering everyone's needs. Its powerful in the cbr600rr for the guy who wants to race and corner. It's great in the Hornet (599) for those who want something fast but upright riding position and it's really good in the cbf600 for the guy who doesn't need loads of power but wants to commute a long distance and get 60mpg+ while still having a 4 cylinder engine.

Never needed a gear indicator. Not sure if my gs850l had one or not now that I think about it. Anyway that was over 30 years ago so hard to think that far back. Anyway another great video Sean. The 600RR is an awesome bike. Take care be safe!

I'm looking to get my bike licence. I'm 38 and have driven cars since I was 17 but will be a new experience for me and I'm sold on this bike. It will be what I purchase. From what I understand, like you say, show the bike respect and you will be fine. I'm also a rather big guy so don't want a smaller bike. Ride safe guys!
I own & purchased new my 03 CBR600RR in red & black & 2013 CBR600RR Tri Color identical to the bike in this vid, this week I picked up a fantastic 1990 CBR600F Hurricane which IS THE OG 600 super sport. My 2003 600RR’s power is ALL up top, the ‘13 RR is a bit more rounded out, the 1990 Hurricane would be an excellent choice for a beginner rider though I’m noticing over the last week since I picked it up that it’s a fairly sought after "classic”, I got lucky & was acquainted with it’s original owner which purchased it when he was stationed at Camp Lejeune NC & was well kept.
I personally think the 08 09 fireblades look the best. Regardless cbr is my preference for 600 class. I've rode alot of variety but nothing has the bottom end like the cbr, which makes commuting way easier. Not to mention they feel crazy light compared to most where center gravity is a lil higher. Aside from that all of the big 4 are generally within the same bracket in the top end.
As much as I watch you saying that you love or like many of the other bikes you review you can hear how much you love this bike from the moment you started talking.
I bought a 2015 CBR300R for my first bike, I am thinking of the CBR600RR as my second bike depending on availability, otherwise it may be a CBR650R or Kawasaki 650. I am upgrading the rear sprocket +2 to put more pep in the step. Edit: and God bless you my brother, Christ alone!
i noticed you started it right away... i learned from honda that when you turn the key, wait for the humming to stop (thats your ECU priming) damages will happen to your ECU if its not started correctly. Just a fun fact, ride safe fellow moto friends!!
Got the 2018 model, its much stronger then 08-12 gen. Generates more hp! As for the restrictions, its as easy as upgrading to a full exhaust and a flash tune.
I have a red and black 2009 cbr 600 and it has the factory gear indicator, i love by bike, it always a joy to ride it. Thanks to Sean i got that bike last year, his old video of the same honda cbr 600 convince me getting it!
I like the cut of your jib. When I'm on my motorcycle, I agree 100%. If it can keep up with traffic, it's really 'enough.' But when I'm on my bicycle, I enjoy bicycling, particularly up hills. (Cycling slowly makes you sick in the head😁)
The 2013 to 2016 Honda CBR600RR is (I feel) one of the best looking motorcycles ever made. The black and white color scheme is equally enticing as the red, white, and blue. If I could afford a backup motorcycle to keep forever, this would be it.
I really wish the give away included New York, love the bike though! You should keep it for yourself as a "new" track bike! I've always wanted a rocket to be in my stable, but can't complain since I've got a cruiser and dual sport. Someday I'd like to own every different "genre" of bike!
I had the 05' black/titanium cbr1000rr. Great reliable bike. I got rid of it because i got blown around in the 20mph wind gusts too much and didn't feel planted to the ground. Ended up with a Busa and that made a world of difference with stability and no trigger happy throttle. Busa isn't heavy for me as im used to Harleys and the Busa weighs only about what a little sportster weighs. I have a Busa and a StreetGlide now. If you like the cbrs, get one. If i had to go back to a liter bike i would probably get the R1 only because of the sound from the cross plane motor after changing up the exhaust. All 4 Japanese companies are reliable. Good luck.
@@aniruddha4119 I do believe Hondas are a tad bit more reliable and better made than the others. You'll have to do some research on it. @@clgraff76 its a great first bike! Power is very predictable and powerful if you want it to be. The 08 gen is the best its easy to ride and looks futuristic still!
I have an 06 and she's my baby!❤ I started on a Honda Grom then upgraded about 8 months later to a cbr600RR best decision I ever made!
This was the first motorcycle I have ever drove/ride on. Respect the power if you’re a newbie
I absolutely love this video.❤🎉😮 I own an 07 bike. And it is everything you say it is. I love when the second set of injectors kick in and then it just starts pulling so hard. It's almost unbelievable. It surely is a Formula One bike! Thank you for producing videos like this that showcase bikes that really are the epitome of true race bikes. Everything your little child mind can dream up is incorporated into this bike. Rock on brother!
Everyone asked me why I got an R1, my answer, "When there's trouble, I'm gone."
It’s called “being legal”, you can easily outrun a cop on a 600 but what’s the point ?
Don’t be stupid and there’s nothing to worry about.
@@ji.a.1400 Depends what roads you're on if it's a clear highway idk if a 600 will get away not enough top end need that 180+mph
Motorola is fast
Qwalay exactly, that’s why I’d hit twisties near by if possible
I just got a 2023 CBR 600rr and still they don’t have a gear indicator, except when you’re in neutral, it lights up a green “N” on the dash. But I truly love this bike, I never thought I’d own one but man what a blast this bike is, love it love it love it surprises me daily
Brings back memories of a past life of mine. Thank you sir.
What happened with that life?
The 2020 CBR600RR is my 4th bike and I'm in love with it. It does alot of things well and I have no problems keeping up with literbikes in the twistys.
That is the exact bike I'm looking for
Then buy it
dronus can you bring it to Illinois?
@@virusuntreated4471 wtf. If I had the bike 🚲 I wouldn't sell it. Lol.
@@virusuntreated4471 they ship bikes free right now all across 🇺🇸
Get a 07 or 08
I have a 1999 Honda CBR600F4.
My first bike was a CBR 600F4I in 2005. Loved it!
What ya riding now?
@@devvo-apexmobile5833 Honda Africa Twin in the near future!!
Anyone else notice how he said “it doesn’t only go straight in a fast line” 😂
Three years later and this is worth reviewing again brother. This is the best 600cc sport bike out there
Although it doesn't have a gear indicator, at least it has a fuel gauge.
Thats the 1 thing i wanna gas gauge but i also want a gear inticator but its a easy fix you can put a aftermarket indicators
Pro tip: you can add a gear indicator easily...
yes bike has a connector port for easy install
I agree with you 100% one of the most beautiful sports bikes out there!!!!
Gear indicator .... PSH..... Unreal !!!!
🤙 Ride safe everyone awesome videos sean.
I got a perfect condition 1987 Hurricane 600 and boy I love that bad boy!
I have a 13 cbr600rr and an 04 CBR 600rr
I love them both. I have 38k miles on the 13 and 19k on the 04. I used to have a 11 GSXR 600 and it just doesn't compare other than being a tad bit more comfortable.
which do you like better ?
I’m stuck on the 600rr and gsxr600 ,
would just be ridin round town and highways.
wich one is easier to handle, the gsxr k5 or the cbr 04/05
I have this exact bike, love it more every time i ride it. had to throw some adjustable rear sets on it because im a taller guy at 6'5 and that made a huge difference. Also put some shorty levers on it and a slip on exhaust. I take it to the track on occasion and it performs excellently. I highly recommend this bike to someone who likes the track. No problems in the 11k miles ive had this bike. Great video and fair pricing!
I'm 5'4 and would like to have rear sets for my GSXR that come up even higher 😂
@@gsxraiders I have the Vortex adjustables and there is plenty of adjustment up and down as well as forward a back. solid grip as well. if they make them for your bike i would highly reccomend them
Love how you always start with the words of wisdom man
Ive a 1987 Cb450s with original HRC colours, they are indeed timeless. Definitely my favorite bike colour.
I like how he called the throttle "kill" he's not wrong lol!
Just picked up a 04 cbr600rr last week❗️ so excited
How is the new bike?
@@chihuahuaverde425 i love it so far it’s easy to ride and in my opinion a lot smoother than my fiancé’s z400.
@@bigten3622 Good to hear!
Do not believe I ever owned a motorcycle in my life that had a gear indicator. Once you become one with the bike you just know what gear you're in and if you have any doubts you reach down and grab a handful of clutch lever and kick up the shift lever and see if there's anything left. Never needed a gear indicator. Not sure if my gs850l had one or not now that I think about it. Anyway that was over 30 years ago so hard to think that far back. Anyway another great video Sean. The 600RR is an awesome bike. Take care be safe!
That white/black/silver cbr600 you sold, with all the weird issues, & like... No miles. THAT was 1 of the most beautiful sport bikes ever. Saying a lot. My bike is friggin gorgeous!
A 2006 cbr600rr was my starter bike. I still have her to this day.
Was it hard to pilot starting it out on a 600cc?
@@IagoVital you just gotta be very careful and respect the bike at all times.
The best ride/review I seen from you. Realy can not hide the love for sport bikes.
Subbed after the words of wisdom. Great bike too!
You should really do a video about the f4i also! Its an amazing bike for being almost 20 years old
I've been watching your videos for a while and I just now realized you are right down the road from me
I personally think the 08 09 fireblades look the best.
Christ alone amen
7:54 "straight in a fast line". yep i feel you
The only thing more timeless than that Honda paint scheme is Pyramids and Roman columns. #truth
So true
Still miss the old Repsol edition bike
Buying one this week!
Had closed closed captions on and any time the bike got up in the rpms and started singing, the caption said [MUSIC]
[MUSIC]
I grew up riding a Honda, I love them
i noticed you started it right away... i learned from honda that when you turn the key, wait for the humming to stop (thats your ECU priming) damages will happen to your ECU if its not started correctly. Just a fun fact, ride safe fellow moto friends!!
That humming is the fuel pump priming. The ecu doesn't prime. Every electronic fuel injected vehicle does that.
Sean you know damn well you will always be a sport bike guy it gets in our blood they handle so much better than Cruisers and Tour bikes
Got the 2018 model, its much stronger then 08-12 gen. Generates more hp! As for the restrictions, its as easy as upgrading to a full exhaust and a flash tune.
It's already been proven the 07-08's are the lightest, fastest and best looking (IMO) 600's ever made by HONDA.
I have a red and black 2009 cbr 600 and it has the factory gear indicator, i love by bike, it always a joy to ride it. Thanks to Sean i got that bike last year, his old video of the same honda cbr 600 convince me getting it!
The '08 had better power, was less restricted by emissions laws. Arguably the '08 looks the best of all the 600RRs, too.
Ooh I take the compliments with humbleness
Just got an 08 also
I had the same bike and knew nothing about the steering damper. Learn something new every day
From my experience it doesn't matter once the motorbike can get you from A to B, try riding a push bicycle and you will beg for your motorcycle back
I like the cut of your jib. When I'm on my motorcycle, I agree 100%. If it can keep up with traffic, it's really 'enough.' But when I'm on my bicycle, I enjoy bicycling, particularly up hills. (Cycling slowly makes you sick in the head😁)
CBR....after learning to ride in a Honda Monkey this was the first big bike I rode (borrowed from a cousin) Just love it!
This thing looks SO good, I want one of these 🤣
R6 looks better
@@VisibleEnd yea but Honda is more reliable..you will never have any problem..
I love them all! This gen is my favorite 😍
The 2013 to 2016 Honda CBR600RR is (I feel) one of the best looking motorcycles ever made. The black and white color scheme is equally enticing as the red, white, and blue. If I could afford a backup motorcycle to keep forever, this would be it.
I have an 05 600 and absolutely love it. Such a fun bike to ride
I subbed once you did the words of wisdom, that’s awesome man. I’m glad you’re doing that
Love the words of wisdom! Using your platform for the kingdom!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I really wish the give away included New York, love the bike though! You should keep it for yourself as a "new" track bike! I've always wanted a rocket to be in my stable, but can't complain since I've got a cruiser and dual sport. Someday I'd like to own every different "genre" of bike!
I own 11 bikes in total and trust me its never enough the bug is real lol
Great review! You made me like this bike way more than I originally did thank you
Should i buy a very old like 05 cbr coz the newer ones are outta my budget
Yeah. Its basically the same engine. Newer models may have few more features but riding is about the feel of raw performance.
Good luck.

I do believe Hondas are a tad bit more reliable and better made than the others. You'll have to do some research on it. Top end, clutch, bearings, etc seem to be superior on the Hondas compared to the other 3. Honda parts seem more expensive than those others too. Good luck, take care man 👊
When I turned 16, I bought myself a 1975 Honda 400f Super Sport, it was a 4 cylinder. I put a Kerker header on it. It was fun riding to school on it. Boy, the girls were loving me. Ha ha ha, watching this makes me want to get another bike. Ride safe. Later, Thumbs up.

Awesome bike. Love the way it responds. Would you do a test ride with a GSXR750 one of these days? Thanks for the show.
As a beginner on a motorcycle im definitely getting a 2020 CBR600RR. I used to drive a V8 and im just gonna apply the laws of a v8 to a motorcycle, get a feel for it, respect it and be careful for it.

I this Honda! It's got a mean look to the front, just like the BMW S1000RR, and it does have good performance as you have shown. Thanks for this video!!
Gotta love how the speedo is always blurred out lmao!
Don’t matter he is in mexico. 😏
Growing up on a dirt bike I feel like it’s locked in my head that I will always know what gear I’m in
It’s true about Honda’s. Easy to learn and ride. My first bike was a CBR929RR Fireblade and I picked it up real quick. The thing is one of the fastest bikes I’ve ever been on. You don’t need all the new tech, just need a good ride
You clearly didn't find apostrophe use so easy. Why on earth do you believe that they play a part in plurals?
Between COVID, Pittsburgh winter, and SRK videos, I picked up an 06 GSXR last weekend. Keep the videos coming.
How you like the 07 gsxr had one years ago and loved her now I own cbr 600rr
Love this review. First time I've seen you keep accelerating flat out after the 0-60, good to see you enjoying yourself 💨💨👍🙃
Honda has always killed it with their red, white, and blue paint schemes. I am old enough to remember lusting after the original VFR 750, a gorgeous bike with a magnificent engine. And I am more of a Kawasaki guy.
Very nice review Sean
