  • This is one of my most favorite piece of music by Bach. It’s full of lament, melancholy but peaceful with hope at the same time.
I have been playing this piece for decades but never had enough technique to play well. I had a belief that if you can play this piece well, you are good at piano. It requires fine controls of each note with sensitive touch, clarity of trills and well-balanced interactions between the three voices. I think my technique is maturing to a good extent as an amateur player, and so here is my attempt.
This recording is not perfect yet but the best I can achieve so far. I have improved controls on trills and paid attention to inner voice especially towards the end, so you can hear the complex emotions that this piece of art conveys.
Please leave comments if you like. Thank you for listening.
