    I'll need to watch the Craig Optics one then. I have two of these, one with Minolta MD and one with Pentax K mount. Both have immaculate optics but there's something wrong with the focus/zoom mechanisms. I was always reluctant to attempt to repair these in fear I wouldn't be able to put them back together.

    Arghh watching you try to remove the adhesive was so frustrating hahaha
    Im planning to do the same thing so i was wondering if a heat gun for a couple seconds is advisable? Haha

      Never use heat gun, slight heat contact with the lens then you will encounter massive chromatic aberration when pixel peeping at that heated part of lens

    That's so helpful, thank you for sharing! What type of cleaner do you use on the lenses?
