People obsessed with signs and wonders replacing The Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no greater miracle than the sinners heart opened by the grace of God, convicted by the Holy Spirit, and receiving Christ as Savior through faith in Him. I have a friend who travels to many churches and he says he never hears the Gospel preached anymore.

Nicholas Hanley there is no greater miracle than the sinners heart turning to Christ for salvation! And God does every bit of that!!! And God still does miracles today absolutely. But truly where is the Gospel in this mans “preaching”. Nowhere to be found which is sad because he’s missing the opportunity for the greatest miracle to take place if he’d preach it.

I am not "obsessed" but believe signs and wonders WILL accompany believers according to what Jesus said...you cant deny numerous DOCUMENTED healings from Smith W and others within the last 100 years. Yes, greatest miracle is sinners transformation but to deny signs is to deny what Christ had said.

@@msboynetskiy I have some genuine (and lengthy) questions. First, what specific words of Christ would it be denying to question the supposed miracles of the hyper-charismatic movement? Second, can you point me to the documented healings of the hyper-charismatic movement? I've done a LOT of research on the subject, and so far, I've only found one legitimately medically documented case: www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0965229918313116?via%3Dihub.
The WOF/NAR/signs and wonders movement is filled with teachers saying that they are performing or seeing miracles performed ALL THE TIME. So why aren't there more medical records like this one? Todd Bentley claimed that he had a team working on verifying the thousands of healings taking place through his ministry. Todd White claims all kinds of things. Bethel's Dead Raising Team claims to have raised 47 people. David Hogan says his team has raised 500. Where are the medical records like this one? Where's the video. Why at Benny Hinn's and Kathyrn Kuhlman's events did we never see someone have a limb grown back? Why did they pass over people with obvious ailments like Joni Erickson Tada? The first line in the report says this: "The present case of sudden, lasting recovery from severe, refractory, and lifelong gastroparesis is unique in the literature." CORRECT. But these guys and this movement are claiming miracles everyday!
I do believe that God CAN heal. My issue with the hyper-charismatic movement is the teaching that it is ALWAYS God's will to heal. Bill Johnson even goes so far as to say that if you preach anything other than complete physical healing, you are teaching a different gospel. The issue is not whether miraculous healings happen but whether it is always God's will to heal or, as Andrew Wommack teaches, that Jesus paid for our healing on the cross and that it is the Christian's responsibility to command healing over their body. I see no evidence for this when considering the entire biblical record. (I know they can cherry pick verses.) I also think that the teaching that our words have the power to create reality (positive or negative) has more in common with Wicca than Christianity.
To sum up, I find two things wrong with the hyper-charismatic view on healing. One is scriptural. When considering the Bible (and common sense), how can we say it is always God's will to heal? In order to believe this, we have to believe in a God who's will is thwarted by mere men constantly. The other is practical: if miraculous healings and resurrections are as common as they claim, where is the proof?

The Church I went to in Oakland, California, in the 1970's had a lot of "so--called prophets" who would roam around giving "prophetic words" to people at random. They zeroed in on my sister and I because we were young Christians and didn't know any better. About 99.9 percent of what they said was wrong. They nearly scared my sister to death. We were told that we HAD TO accept their "ministry" because they were "seasoned prophets" who were "experienced in the Lord.". What am I,. chopped liver??

The Bible is a guide to False prophecy itself. The Problem of the Bible (How the bible is literally full of errors in nearly every way possible.) Which Bible, you may say? Over 450 English versions of the bible Thousands of manuscripts disagreeing with each other wildly in what verses and even books they contain, and how those verses read. Below are just a few of the contradictions and internal errors in the Bible: a) GE 1:14 God created lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night GE 1:4 God had already made this division earlier b) GE 1:11-12, 26-27 Trees were created before man was created. GE 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created. c) GE 1:20-21, 26-27 Birds were created before man was created. GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before animals were created. e) GE 1:26-27 Man and woman were created at the same time. GE 2:7, 21-22 Man was created first, woman sometime later. f) “The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father…” - Ezekiel 18:20 “I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation…” - Exodus 20:5 g) “… I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” - Genesis 32:30 “No man hath seen God at any time…”- John 1:18 h) Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel? Matthew 9:18 quotes him as saying, “My daughter has just died.” (b) No. Mark 5:23 quotes him as saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death.” j) How did Simon Peter find out that Jesus was the Christ? Sadly there are great numbers of people who proclaim themselves to be "Christians" but they neither believe nor obey the commands of Jesus --- most because they don't seek understanding of the deeper things of God -- "the meat" that Paul speaks of in
      1 Corinthians 3:2 -
"I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. ( CSB. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, since ...) The Corinthians, in their childish ignorance didn't believe & act much different than the rest of the world, and they gabe Paul a hard time ..........
I assume you have read Jesus' COMMAND in Mark 16:17-18 --- it's good to read it often, meditate on it and pray the Holy Spirit opens your understanding .... then search out the companion scriptures .....
      "And these SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with NEW tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
So the question remains what it is to REALLY BELIEVE - and if do -- WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE? DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF JESUS MOUTH --- OR do you/your pastor try to re-state, re-interpret the Lord's teaching when you don't understand it? DO YOU CONSULT THE HOLY SPIRIT whom He sent to be our teacher, helper, comforter, advocate, intercessor ----

There are a few problems, with this concerning Smith Wigglesworth.
    1) By his own admission he was rougher than he should have been when praying for people's healing, but he was not throwing babies, kicking people's faces or causing and damage. It was reported that he would "slap" the area, but he ceased when he himself needed prayer and experienced the suffering he he was inflicting. However he was a rough man in a time of rough masculine men.

I've been a "Spirit filled" Christian for 55 years, always seeking to go deeper into the Things of God. I served in ministry, but most times I sought out Truth, because I lost faith in "man" a long time ago. We are weak and vulnerable, regardless of our claims.
What will sustain a person's heart is a genuine relationship with the Lord. Not all are the same, but it's not about some "spiritual level". Too many Christians of stature emphasize that. God is much more intimate with us than that. He made us as human individuals, and His purpose for us is to fellowship with us as His human family.
If you have a real relationship with God -- brought about by the Holy Spirit working in you -- you will stop seeking out outer stimuli (such as what this post demonstrates), because yiur 'hunger' is filled. I could go on. But I have very little confidence in this "McDonaldland Christianity" today. It's not sustainable, merely a counterfeit.

      J. Dean Narcissists are highly confident liars. Rate themselves (3.09) as good liars. Is consistent with their own confidence. They are confident, they can do things well. Underestimate how people can detect their own lies, and lies in general. Underestimate the damage done by lies.
Narcissists engage in blatant lying: they do it manipulate, exploit, established dominance, exact revenge. Self-serving deception. To gain something. With Mach and Psych we see same thing. The manager voiced concern over the manager’s competence.
Narcissists lie to make themselves look better in comparison to others: Two forms: spreading rumours ( this is indirect form of antagonism ) .. moves up, by moving other people down. Causes pain, misery, chaos. Keeps attention away from narcissism. Machiavelian do same thing. Psychopathy not so much.
Trying to impress people with amazing success story.
At 6:26.. Narcissists tell this, the 6.37, because the truth is offensive to them. They believe they have not succeeded, people have not realized how smart the narcissist is. Lying sets the record straight. The truth is offensive and unjust. Lying is morally mandated. To tell the truth would be to injure them. 7:37. The truth is morally unjust. To tell the truth, to …
      4. The offensive truth has been erased and replaced with the just narratie.
      4. Narcissists tell lies relative to someone who is not narcissistic. Tell fewer than Mach and Psych. Because if someone gives you gift. Narcissists lie for a reason, not concerned for other people’s feelings…..
      5. Narcissists tend to lie reporting they don’t know something when they in fact know something. For example, people who are neighbours. Dark Triad Traits.

I now think that the miracles in the Bible were to give the early church a boost. Jesus said that blessed is the man that see's and then believes but more blessed is the man that doesn't see yet still believes, also the signs and miracles in the last days are mentioned in the Bible as been false. I was run over by a vehicle about 3 year's ago and not having medical insurance, i have been in constant pain, but i still believe that God is in control and that He loves us and He died as the atonement for all of our sins. The Bible is the only explanation that makes sense of everything.

They are followers of Smith Wigglesworth and Lester Sumrall and embrace The New Apostolic Reformation. We have had many conversations about our being in two different camps when it comes to the Charismatic Movement and Pentecostalism, of which they are proud members. I'm deeply concerned for both of them. Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice and the voice of strangers they will not follow." I like you got caught up in these fake churches, false prophets, fake preachers, the whole kitten ka boodle! You are not alone. I got taken on the false teaching of tithes and offerings. Then one day I actually sat down and read the entire book of Malachi for myself and boy oh boy was I angry at the false preachers on tithes! Tithes was food for the priests and widows and orphans. Never money. God was angry at the Priests because they started accepted lame, sick blind animals for sacrifice for sins. God was mad at the priests, even says so if you bother to read the entire book of Malachi. After my husband gave all our money in tithes the church people laughed at us and called us stupid to our faces. We had been told our son would be healed from cystic fibrosis if we tithed. We learned the hard way after going broke. Read your bible for yourselves and quit being brain washed by money hungry preachers that don't even hold down a job! Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, Galatians 3:13 & 14! We are not cursed if we don't give money to the church. Again read your bible! Another thing I have to expose, is the false prophets. I had an encounter one on one with Katherine Ruonala, she was invited to the church I attended. I had been told to come expecting a miracle. Especially for those deaf! Well before the service even started she came and sat down next to me in a chair on my right. That is important. Why? Because I am completely totally fried in my right ear, 100 percent deaf, so I can't even wear a hearing aid along with debilitating tinnitus!! So Katherine Ruonala so called Prophetess, LOL leans into my right ear and starts speaking away! LOL! Joke was on her! So the woman sitting on my left side my good ear says to me, "Why aren't you happy!?!?!? You should be all excited and over joyed at the wonderous things Katherine is prophesying to you?!?!?" I said to the woman that I had never met in my life before, "She is FAKE!!! IF God had sent her to talk to me HE would have bothered to tell her I can't hear a single thing out of my deaf right ear!!!!!!" I was there to receive a miracle healing. This woman now goes over all over the world welcomed by churches. she lives in a mansion! Yes it took me 30 years to come out of this awful deception. Jesus is real. Many in the crowds were whispering about Him. Some said, “He is a good man.” But others replied, “No, He deceives the people.” Yet no one would speak publicly about Him for fear of the Jews. About halfway through the feast, Jesus went up to the temple courts and began to teach. The Jews were amazed and asked, “How did this man attain such learning without having studied?” “My teaching is not My own,” Jesus replied. “It comes from Him who sent Me. If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether My teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own. He who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory, but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is a man of truth; in Him there is no falsehood. Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps it. Why are you trying to kill Me?” “You have a demon,” the crowd replied. “Who is trying to kill You?” Jesus answered them, “I did one miracle, and you are all amazed. But because Moses gave you circumcision, you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath (not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs.) @@Kerosenetrewthe Here are also a few verses to help with your theological understanding of fire when used by Christians. It’s often not about God’s judgment and wrath.
Luke 3:16. Another passage where John says we will be baptized with fire.
Luke 12:49. Here Jesus says his mission on earth is to kindle a fire. He compares his message to it.
Psalm 104:4. “He makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire.” Ministers compared to flaming fire.
Exodus 3:2. The Angel of the Lord appears as a flame of fire on a bush that does not burn. He is not judging, but giving a message.
Jeremiah 23:29. God compared his word to fire. Granted, this is closer to a message of judgment, but the fire in this case is representing God’s words and truth.
Acts 2:3. This one is obvious. The Holy Spirit comes as tongues of fire on their heads. Earlier in Acts 1 it says they were praying _constantly_
Jeremiah 20:9. Here the prophet speaks of God’s message like a fire welling up inside of him that he must speak.
2 Chronicles 7:1. Note, that the fire comes down from _Heaven_ to burn the offering. And it is not a fire of judgment, but specifically to bring God glory.
Exodus 13: 21. God leads them with a pillar of fire at night.
Zechariah 13:9. Fire is used to test and refine God’s people. Not as a method of destruction here. This is interesting because it also reflects the use of fire in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. This purifying fire that helps God’s people is again brought up in Malachi 3:2-3, Psalm 66:10, and Isaiah 48:10.
Exodus 40:38. God’s glory in the tabernacle is fire. It literally represents the presence of God (not a bad thing to pray for I hope you would agree).
Zechariah 2:5. Again, fire represents the Lord’s presence. In this case, a protective wall of fire around all of Gods people. So we can pray for God’s fire of protection.
Psalm 39: 3. Again, fire is used to represent the burning desire to speak God’s words.
2 Kings 2:11. God uses chariots of fire and horses of fire to to take up Elijah. Clearly not an act of destruction, wrath or judgment.
And lastly, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “Do not quench the Spirit”.
Almost all translations say “quench”. Some say “extinguish”.
“Quench” means to put out a fire. So the Holy Spirit is fire that you should not quench. You should think and pray about this one.

Why in the world would you take communion daily? LOL. My wife and I went to a church of her friends that was non-denominational... Which I don't like but we went anyway and the preaching was not on point and there was a lot of opinionated interpretations of the Bible. Out of the several times that I went there I never heard anything about sin or hell. But something I couldn't get over is every Sunday morning Sunday evening and Wednesday night they would do communion LOL and I couldn't figure out why. I raised my hand in the middle of a service and ask him why they do that and he said it's so that everyone can participate if they want. I honestly looked at him for about 5 seconds maybe longer before I said anything to him. I said did you know that it is an Abomination to take communion if you're not a born again Christian? He said all no it's not no it's not that's a myth that's not true, that's nowhere in the Bible. Well just luckily I knew where it was in the Bible and I read it to him. And you'll never guess what he said to me... He said well, I know that's what it says, but that's not what it means. I grabbed my wife by the hand and said let's go and we left and we never went back. 3 of our friends that were couples never spoke to us again after we left that day. I would rather be alone utterly by myself in this world then to spit in the face of God just because I don't read my Bible and choose to follow a preacher instead of the word of God. I was raised in churches like this, and wretched with sin and attempting to find "truth" and revolt against the phonies I began to embrace Crowleyan occultism and Kabbalah (thus furthering the fruit of NAR to begin with, how bizzare!) I never thought I would have a frivilous moment again, unless it was drug or drink induced, cause as you know, revivalists, occultists, etc. are always super serial about all the things.
God brought me to repentance and a faith in Christ Jesus. Life is still tough for me - I exposed myself to a lot of stuff over the years, and it did a number on my body and mind.
But when that video sped up and all those dudes sounded like the Chipmunks...
    I actually giggled.
    That's a lot for me.
Thank you, and praise to God for what you do. I feel privileged to have found this channel and the Pirate Christian content.
No one around me talks about this, or cares.
It means a lot to me.
    God bless you.

It would be really funny to make a video of all the dreadful (yet hilarious!) dramatisations on Sid Roths show 😂 the one with Jesus playing the saxophone cracks me up every time.

eileenjared Narcissists are highly confident liars.

Hyper-charismaticism and extreme Pentecostalism is rife with Narcissists in positions of prominence and exercising high profiles. Fundie Baptists have their fair share too. Always, the heroes of their own stories which usually turn out to be exaggerations or fabrications.

Sometimes a prophet just misses something and that doesn’t make him a false prophet. He just missed it. Maybe he saw something that is farther away than he thought. Smith Wigglesworth has many miracles that have been attributed to him. People should be careful judging him.

I commend you for this tactful and poignant video. I am a former Pentecostal preacher and was set free by the truth of the Word of God from this delusional deception eight years ago. I will note, that “Dr.” Michael Brown’s frenzy at Brownsville was tame compared to meetings I participated and other videos on RUclips.
Additionally, although I agree that Wigglesworth was a liar and false prophet, his false prophecy to Summeral in 1939, was fulfilled (not by God) in the Charismatic movement, beginning in 1958. My reasoning is that the delusion of Pentecostalism became mainstream and achieved that which the Pentecostals desired intensely: acceptance.
By the early 1970s, all denominations (including Roman Catholicism) had been infected by their false tongues and witchcraft Eastern Mysticism based false teachings. By the 1980s, the leading voices in the Christian Right (which controlled US politics) were Pentecostals like Swaggart, Robertson, Bakker, Roberts (and the very worst) Hinn. This culminated Pentecostalism as the most dangerous deception in the history of the false institutional church system.

When Michael Brown says lift your voices it reminds me of the the Ba'al Priests yelling to Ba'al in 1 Kings 18......these people are yelling for Ba'al not God/Jesus.
