- A small group of believers earnestly prayed for Revival in England at the beginning of the twentieth century. Little did they know how God would answer that prayer - an answer that would impact the church worldwide. This revival would lead to the birth of Pentecostalism in Britain and awaken people to a new relationship with God.
Sunderland 1907 - This documentary looks at the British Pentecostal Movement and its origins in the twentieth century. In a series of meetings in Sunderland 1907 held by Alexander Boddy, an Angelican Vicar, and Thomas Barratt, a minister from Norway there was an ""Outpouring of the Holy Spirit."" God moved through this revival leading to ongoing meetings and conventions for several years. God raised up ministries and impacted a number of key individuals such as Smith Wigglesworth, Thomas Myerscough, W.F.B. Burron, James Salter, George Jeffreys, Stephen Jeffreys and others to go and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and the message of Pentecost. Smith Wigglesworth - Smith Wigglesworth was an evangelist from West Yorkshire, England, who dared to believe that all things are possible. He affected the Pentecostal movement worldwide more than any other individual in the twentieth century. He brought in a multitude of souls for Jesus, and signs and wonders would follow wherever he preached the Gospel. Stephen and George Jeffreys - Two brothers from a mining family in the valleys of South Wales got saved during the Welsh revival. They would go on to evangelize and establish New Testament churches throughout the United Kingdom. They were Stephen and George Jeffreys. George Jeffreys was the founder of the Elim Pentecostal movement which still continues today. He had some of the largest evangelistic meetings the UK has ever witnessed. Stephen Jeffreys would fill many New Testament churches through his evangelism campaigns across the United Kingdom.

Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing!I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! My great great grandmother was Agnes Bryant Jones and she was born in 1864. She was a Pentacostal Circuit Preacher. Jesus gave her a night vision of The Lord handing her a torch and told her to set the earth afire. She traveled all around the Midwest on horses or rafts to get to her destination. She fought against dynamite and pistols when she'd go into coal mining towns to preach Acts 2:4, baptizing and healing by the laying on of hands. She held a tent revival in Terra Haute, Indiana of 6,000 people. Many people of different faith's who had locked their doors to her started converting to the Doctrine of Jesus Christ, Who taught the Apostles and Disciples His Truth. Jesus founded His Church in The Book of Acts.

In 1965 I was praying in my car and praising God suddenly I felled a hot warm feeling all over me and began to speak in different tongues this is real to me the baptizing of the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ Himself, amen.
I also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Was on the church grounds, told the Lord I was so happy being saved. Told Him I wanted this gift. Nothing happened so went back working planting bushes. Got in my car and headed home. My tongue started to feel funny, getting thick. Thought I had an allergic reaction. Looked on my arms to see if I got bitten. I said one word and out my language came. I was crying and speaking in tongues all the way home.
When I pray, I pray in English then in tongues. The Holy Spirit prays for you.
A warm Feeling is not described in the bible. It is not about feelings but of truth.

There the word glossa is used and the unbiblical practice of today isn't an existing language, therefore no one understands it, it's nothing but a babbling, in Greek glossolalia. Steven Jeffreys came to the church I grew up in because my grandmother was saved during Stevens visit. My grandfather got saved there and my mother. I am third generation fruit of this mnistry and my daughter is fourth generation fruit. Praise the Lord!

Good history. The history of godly people is always something I loved. Like on the history of the preacher on titanic that gave up his spot for others. He swam in the cold telling people to repent and put trust in Jesus. He then soon after that died from the cold water.

I was born again recently after many years of loving sin believing I was a good person.
I joined a Pentecostal church because I work with the pastor and he doesn’t preach the liberal way ignorant of sin and with a rainbow flag out front. He teaches the bible as it’s meant to be in a country where you can get charged for doing so.
I felt the spirit In
My baptism and let some tongues out but some people say it’s not of god and it shouldn’t be used. I need to improve my prayer life though and that’s why I’m doing some research on where this movement came from.
It’s not something I’ve done since but I want to continue reading the bible daily and turning from all sin to glorify Christ.

@SonoftheProphet I'm asking the circumstances for you. Not them. And the gifts/purpose/destiny revealed to you in your baptism that you have used to multiply the kingdom. I ask because it seems many receive salvation, but few receive the baptism of fire. Especially in America. For me, I have yet to receive baptism by fire where I come face to face with undeniable presence and person and power of the holy spirit. I want it so badly. But never experienced it. And I wonder why it is that more do not receive the baptism...perhaps watered down gospel in America?

So I know in my heart of hearts that in the last days he will pour out his Spirit on All flesh and his sons and daughters shall prophesy and young men shall see visions and old men shall dream dreams. But what he is teaching me lately is that it is written I will pour out my spirit on "All flesh" the righteous and wicked alike. And for this reason we need the Holy Spirit even more for the impure will also do miracle signs and wonders with the power to deceive even the elect if it were possible. It is written that the Dragon wars against the saints for 42 months. This means the saints are equipped with the power of the spirit and the full armor of God to do great exploits and they are endowed with the sevenfold glory of God which is the spirit of wisdom and understanding the spirit of counsel and might the spirit of knowledge and spirit of the fear of the Lord. We will walk on water, we will rebuke winds and seas, we will call down fire and hailstones, and we will strike the earth with plague as often as we wish. But those wolves in sheep's clothing will do similar exploits so that the world once more shall question as they did in the sight of Moses and pharoah sorcerer's; asking themselves: who then is the one true living God? The baptism of the spirit is necessary because it is the holy spirit that will lead us in all truth until all eyes see Messiah appear from the heavens to gather his remnant. So yes I desire a spiritual heavenly baptism that I know he has in store for me because he has told me so for many many years and I'm hoping and praying that this is the year that it will finally happen. Afraid is written in the book of Zephaniah I will choose to myself a poor people, and I will cleanse them of all their idols, and no lie will be found upon their lips and they will never again repeat offenses. So he's saying even his people must be cleansed of idolatry. "And then I shall put a pure language upon their lips so that they will all worship me in one Accord" this is the language of the holy spirit, a single tongue of pure fire that shall say to a mountain jump and it shall jump, that she'll say to The valleys raise High into the high mountains sink low prepare the highway of the Lord. We know not the power we have in our tongue because we know not what to pray but also what to prophesy into creation that is in the will of the father. But he himself shall come and cleanse us he himself shall teach us his ways. pray for the outpouring of the spirit so that your brothers and sisters that have never received the baptism by fire will finally once and for all and at the same time receive this most precious heavenly gift reserved for his elect in these last days! 🥰😇🕎
@@GenAlphaKidz Good questions... First of all I just started reading my Bible.. I didn't grow up in church.. So I had to buy one... Then I noticed that everyone was saying receive the Lord as your personal savior... I didn't feel that... Because the bible was clearly saying repent and be baptized in Jesus name.. not Father,son and Holy Ghost..So I remember praying and telling God that I believe his Word and that I wanted to be baptized in Jesus name...Then he led me to a church that baptized in Jesus name and talk about the holy Ghost... And how to receive it.... So I went up front to the altar...And repented of my sins... And God filled me with his wonderful Spirit.... And I began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave me the utterance...One of the things that I've learned is that you HAVE to BELIEVE to receive....And this Gift is for ALL that believe...

I'm a born again Christian. Before 2 years I and my two daughters have fled from our home because my husband is from another religion. We separated from him because my daughters don't want to follow his belief. Now we're in great trouble. Beloved saints, pray a word for us.

I can testify myself for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in my life.. Seeking the Lord Jesus Christ, submission to Him, surrendering my life, humbling myself before the Lord and obedience to Him is the key to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Prayer, reading Bible and fasting is a must also to be filled with Holy Spirit. I experience speaking in tongues and many more in my life..

Matt 6: to finish the verse: " and His righreousness". We are not free to independently do anything. We are not free to hurt others with bear spray for example. We carry our cross and suffer for others like WEARING MASKS even if we got our vaccines, because we still could be carrying the virus though the vaccine weakens the virus in us. Bless others.
@@ericac134 Sometimes God put us in a hard situations to call our attention. That's what happened in my life. I had a strong conviction of the Holy Spirit that lead me into a genuine repentance for all my known sins. Repentance requires a change of heart - a change in one's thinking.

John called it the baptism in/with the Holy Spirit. Jesus called it being endued with power from on High, or living waters. But you would know all this.

My old Irish great grandma was HOLY SPIRIT filled! I didn't find that out till I was in my 50s! My Mom was never allowed to see her because she was SPIRIT filled! My maternal grandma was Catholic, & thought it was demonic! Little did she know that it was the reverse! Lol Much of that extended family serve the 1 true GOD, YAHWEH, ELOHIM, HOLY SPIRIT, & OUR SAVIOR JESUS! I do believe she found out at the end of her life! She loved JESUS with all her heart! When I was 5 hiding in a closet, I asked GOD why me? HE answered in a voice I can still hear & feel today, that I wouldn't understand it all, but HE would never leave or forsake me! When my Mom told me about that great grandma's faith, cousin's confirmed, I immediately saw that little girl hiding, & Thanked GOD for that grandmothers prayers for me/us! HE has never left or forsaken, & HIS HOLY WORD has proven 100%! The legacy, covenants & generational blessings of GOD overwhelm the faithful!😍💥❤👍🌹

The Holy Spirit came to exalt Jesus Christ, to glorify Jesus Christ the Son of God, to reveal more of the Word and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, just as Jesus had come to reveal and glorify the Father.
It is Jesus who baptizes us into or with the Holy Spirit.
It is the Father we are to ask... "...Then if you being evil know to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE the Father out of Heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those asking Him" Luke 11:5-13.
This whole passage as also others do, press in the point of persistently asking the Father for the things we need that He has promised for all those who believe in Him and His Son.

God uses all (often simple) people, exactly as we read throughout the Bible.
What it takes to receive this spiritual growth is discipline reading and spending time with praying forgoing all else.
Raised 23 people from the dead. Prayed for amputated limbs to be restored. Never read anything but the Bible. But even Wigglesworth was amazed at the vision he received of the miracles that will happen in the last great revival 😱😳👍!

Praising the Lord for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Pentacostal Revival. All should speak in tongues. It brings us Holy Boldness. Holy Spirit heals through us who are yielded to the Lord. Jesus wants us Not to be afraid of the Holy Spirit comes inside of us. I was baptised in the Holy Spirit in in 1985 and from then on God would send me to people's who needed healing, He sent me to people to give them a word of knowledge ,and word of Wisdom. I was left by my husband to another women in 1997, was saved in 1971 but knew there was more from God. I was in terrible pain from the betrayal and loss of my marriage. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1997 and I cried out to the Lord , unable to barely speak English a week! It was such a wonderful gift , I wish every Christian would pray for it!

Religion on the other hand yuck. I challenge fundamental Christians for over 20 years without even one accepting the challenge. That's because the fundamentals of the faith have nothing to do with going into a building or pagan rituals enchanting of names. We are not to have personal beliefs but a personal relationship. ❤️ Thousands of divisions / denominations proves that very few are led by the holy spirit. Please be aware, a person must TRUST in their Heart ONLY on the following for salvation and leaving in the Rapture:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) - "Christ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…"
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Faith ALONE Only on Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection ALONE, is required. GRACE means UNMERITED FREE GIFT. NO human effort or works can be involved in receiving or keeping salvation. Believing the New Testament Gospel of Salvation, plus NOTHING, results in Salvation.)
IF we believe we are saved (made born again by God) based on faith PLUS ANY human effort, or by human effort alone, then we are Not under Grace (UNMERITED FREE GIFT), but are under the law (God’s commandments), Condemned, and Not saved.
Romans 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace....”
We Cannot be Saved with any Faith for Salvation on Water Baptism or any Works / Human Effort:
1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) - “For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.”
Faith Only on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, not water baptism, must be the way of receiving salvation. Water baptism was for people (primarily Jewish) offered salvation and the kingdom on earth by the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom, where a work under Old Testament law, water baptism, was required commandment keeping, which showed evidence of their saving faith.
We are NOT under OT law:
Romans 10:4 (KJV), “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
If we trust on any works or human effort for salvation, we will NOT be saved.
Galatians 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.”
(We can’t continue in all things of the law (10 commandments), because we have already BROKEN the law, and are condemned by the law.)
Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved).

Acts 16:30-31(KJV) - “The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
(‘Believe’ for Salvation in the New Testament means trust in your heart only on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) death, burial, and resurrection.)

Romans 4:5 (KJV), “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”
Once Saved Always Saved and Eternal Security for the Born Again Believer:
We MUST Be Born Again (made permanently spiritually sinless by God) by FAITH ALONE; then we have Eternal Security, and CAN’T LOSE Salvation. Believing that a person can lose salvation means we incorrectly believe we can obtain or keep salvation, which includes leaving in the rapture, by HUMAN EFFORT. That means we approach God for salvation with faith on HUMAN EFFORT, and that means NO salvation:

Consider this text that was shared elsewhere as an answer and confirmation to U from God or deception from the enemy:
It seems that God is raising army of His children, also His servants that are not Saved yet (they working and obeying God but never believed true Gospel, and in turn at the moment risk to end up in a Lake of Fire despite all good that they done), and Western Europe in the near future (years or decades) will be attacked at least from East (Eastern Europe), West (USA; at least parts of it) and South (Africa).
True Gospel and Truth will make light shine brighter and then darkness will become even greater. It seems that just like Jesus Christ was rejected for Eternal Salvation by just believing what He did according scriptures, and accepting this Free Grace Gift (all sins are forgiven, including future ones; judgement because of rejecting healer, and not because U are sick, as all are sick in various degrees) so will happen with Truth (imagine what will happen if everything will be revealed by God on much grander scale then 24/7 cameras about lives of everyone, or at least those that He will choose to testify and they will reveal all intimate and taboo details of their lives by their testimonies to this evil world that do similar things but hide it), and then the judgement will be the same as was but on new grand scale: Light come to the world but people chose darkness because their deeds were evil, Acts II soon will start if it is not already started.
Ask Urself honestly:
Would U serve God willingly, obey, sacrifice, share Ur testimony, including intimate details, without 100 percent guarantees from God itself that U will never end up in a Lake of Fire no matter what U do or don't do? If not, make sure to get this 100 percent guarantee from God as soon as U can. In case U would have 100 percent guarantee from God that no matter what U will be in Heaven (because Jesus Christ done everything and U believe it, this simple Truth), would U obey Him, sacrifice everything (it is still a process and one day is not equal to another day) so other people will be saved or just live as U want? Would U do that only for Eternal Salvation of all Ur family members? Relatives, community? Or even for Eternal Salvation of many people in Ur city, country, continent, world?
Remember and don't stop: Even falling into temptations and after that to huge willful sins week after week is not a reason for U to stop trusting God and give up on Him. Jesus Christ holy blood > all Ur sins.
Let God Servants become Children of God that serve not to be Saved (impossible as Eternal Salvation is a Free Gift of God, and not a reward for serving Him) but because they are His children that want to serve Him because of love, truth, or other good motives in the sight of God:
There is no Good news without 100 percent Eternal Salvation and Security.
How Ur life would change if U truly know that U end up in Heaven?
How Ur life would change if U truly know that U end up in Lake of Fire?
Who need second chance from God to be Saved when we actually need limitless chances and 100 percent guarantee from Him? Discipleship+Grace=No Grace+Condemnation=Lake of Fire, Unless Free Grace.
Here is the Good News: Jesus Christ love U and died for Ur all sins (past, present and future) that U would be reconciled with God if U just believe that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead according scriptures for U sinner. It is Free Gift so God expects that after U accept it then U act as He wants but it is up to U and once U have Eternal Life then U will never end up in Lake of Fire irrespective what U do or don't do. In other words, God give U Eternal Life (Hell Insurance) if U just believe and allow U to do what U want, and just face consequences for Ur bad actions in life. Should U submit Ur life for spreading of God Kingdom, be disciple of Jesus Christ? Yes, U should but not must for Eternal Salvation.
Praise God for these brothers who carried the message of Christ with the Holy Spirit to the world! May God in these last days pour His Spirit out one final time to the entire world that His harvest May bring more glory to His Name! May the whole earth be filled with God’s glory forever! 🙏🙌

It was a lovely surprise to meet my previous professor at Elim Bible College, Dr. Neil Hudson. Thank you, Brother, Neil - I have fond memories of you - even though you are a great speaker, you continually stay humble; and thank you to your fellow workers here, who have put this together. This documentary is very important because it keeps a record of the birth of the British Pentecostal movement which God raised up as the equivalent of the Azuza Street Awakening which birthed the Pentecostal movement. One of the highlights of this documentary, when those men tried to shame the pentecostal ministers by pushing that deaf and dumb man down the aisle yet God supernaturally healed him and the only people who were dumbfounded were those young men who repented after they were dumbfounded by the glory of God.
I believe Smith Wigglesworth was the leader of the Pentecostal movement in the Western world - in his lifetime he raised up eight or ten people from the dead. Also, God used him greatly in New Zealand and Australia - his legacy is that singlehandedly, he with the Holy Spirit inside him, brought the Pentecostal movement to those two nations. When preaching in Sweden the King of Sweden heard about Smith's unorthodox ways of praying for the sick and was so concerned he wrote a letter to Smith to not touch any Swede physically; so Smith, from that time, pioneered the act of mass personal prayer by asking people to lay their hands on themselves and on their sicknesses, thus thousands were healed. And this act which millions of people do every Sunday was stsrted by Smith. I liked Mr. Malcolm say in regard to Smith Wigglesworth, "He abused sickness". I have read a few books about Smith Wigglesworth - he was the Chairman of the Preston Pentecostal meeting wasn't he, where there were thousands healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. Smith Wigglesworth's nickname was "the Apostle of faith" .
Dear God, please raise up other apostles of faith to glorify your son, and do an even greater work, by your Spirit, for your Spirit is always yearning to do a greater work to glorify Jesus Christ.

It's great to see my old Elim Bible College professor, Dr. Neil Hudson. Bless you dear Brother Neil, I have fond memories of you, and thank you for reminding me and teaching me about the early Pentecostal movement in my own country - this is so important to learn because it is the equivalent of the Azuza Street awakenings of the birth of the Pentecostal movement in the U.K. which, thanks to this documentary and good men, the history is kept alive. Thank you , dear God and dear Brother Neil, and fellow brothers, bless this great ministry. I liked the part where that deaf snd dumb man was pushed to the front in order to shame Smith Wigglesworth and the other pentecostal preachers but instead they become dumb, i.e. "DUMBFOUNDED" BY THE GLORY OF GOD when the man was healed totally.
Dear God, Smith Wigglesworth was called the Apostle of Faith, please raise up more apostles of faith to do far greater works because your Holy Spirit always leads us into greater works of service to glorify Jesus Christ.

Great video thank you , Jesus appeared to me and changed my life forever and saved my life multiple times , seen and experienced many miracles , and I speak in tongues , though I think it can be wise to not identify with a certain denomination as much as I love pentacostals, I struggled with homelessness, drug addiction, mental health and physical health problems , was in chains and traumatized but God interceded and transformed me and I graduated Bible college and I'm working on pastoral degree Gods grace is so real, I still fall short but I'm always trying to do better for God I love the Lord amen

@@ao4514 That's what I thought too. I was taught like that in a charismatic church. I mostly did not check in the Bible what it says about these things. We left that church more than 2 years ago and realized that it's all a false doctrine. The Lord showed us many things in His word and also dear brothers sent us Material to study. We need to put that charismatic glasses aside and study the word like it is. Be blessed sister. It says also in Daniel 12,4, that in the last days (where we are in) the knowledge will increase.

🙋🙏✝️🙏 yes God is glorious and he deserves all the glory power to the Lord power to those who serve him and those who try to spread his word. The holy spirit is an awesome awesome being. From what I've read in the Bible he is his own separate being yet is the spirit of God, says in the Bible that he's able to search the innermost thoughts of God the father. I don't claim to know how it all works although yes I I'm guilty of thinking about the wise and wherewithals of each of the things pertaining to my father my Lord Jesus and my holy spirit. Not out of evilness no but because I just want to know him so much better. Because I'm in America I don't often think about other countries that I don't hear about very often as being filled with the Holy Spirit and Christianity and the beauty of it all. How selfish of me! God bless you for your love of him and I hope and pray that you have the Holy Spirit or that you pray for it and that you tell about him to everyone you encounter!
