Is the Ferrari 328 the Best Value Ferrari Ever Made?
We review this stunningly restored Ferrari 328 GTS and explain why this is such an underrated masterpiece!
Really enjoyed this video, I’m after a 328 gts, so really helped/ pointed me in right direction 👍
Really pleased to help.
The cam belts are accessible from the right hand side rear wheel well but the clutch is on the other side. The clutch is on the left hand side along with the transfer case down from the clutch to the gearbox and diff.
Thanks yes another viewer pointed this out...I mentioned wrong in the video....Key thing though is that you do not have to remove the engine to replace either the cam belt or the clutch. 😊
Always loved the 328 GTS, such a great mechanical feeling car with simplicity, reliability and gorgeous looks. Great review Rich!
Thank you. Great classic Ferrari.
Brilliant review, love the tech details! ❤
Thank you Sebastian and thank you for joining the RR fellowship. 🤩
Handbrake trick is a Lotus Esprit thing....
The drop-down style handbrake is common across Ferrari and other brands to mitigate issues of ingress/egress when handbrake is on.
@@RichReviews_ True, but Lotus did it first.
Great car the 328, always wanted one.
The main problem with Ferrari in the eighties and early nineties is they totally sell cars by name, and definitely not performance. Handling was good on the 328, but everything about the 308 was a joke.
”Bisquit tan” 😄
All Ferraris of this era came with the plastic gear shift knob, if you saw a metal one on a 308 it was aftermarket.
Thank you for the info, interesting.
Underated? Hmmm, the 328 are selling for over 100k and raising. very desirable. They used to be overlooked and sell for under 40k not so much anymore.
Yes, they are increasing in value which is motivating owners to restore low grade cars.
@@RichReviews_ such an amazing car. Great video.
Thank you kindly!
1.02. That’s a 308 GT4
I was referring to Ferraris…The 308 GT4 was a Dino
not underrated, my friend 😁. very well known
Stunning design, was a special day.
@@RichReviews_ love it 😍
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
How to rewrite history! The 308GT4 was built by Ferrari, has Ferrari on the camshaft covers and eventually was badged Ferrari. Grow up - it is a Ferrari and is recognised by all, except seemingly you as the first ferrari production V8. The Dino 206 and 246 had Dino on the cam covers so there is more room for argument there, but no-one in their right mind sees them as anything other than a Ferrari.
'Built by' and 'branded as' are two very different things...maybe you need to grow up and learn a few manners?!
Ooops-someone bought a Dino 308GT4!........@@RichReviews_
308gt4 is also better and just as 'rare' (547 RHD built, many fewer survivors) and with 4 twin-choke carbs and no electronic ignition, is easier to maintain and better sounding.
Sounds like a bag of nails
You have to assess in relation to the period it comes from.
