I really enjoyed getting to learn about the 365, the fact that it ha an F1 V12 engine and is the 1st mid engine Ferrari make it a car I guess I feel like I should have known about it to begin with. Can't wait for the "Taking Delivery of my new FERRARI 360 MODENA!!!!!" Video. Lol The 360 is what I hope to be my 1st super car in the next 2-3 years. As far as classics go it would be cool to find an classic 911 Cup car, that way it could serve as both a track toy/project car as well as your classic. Although I am sure the 360 could be turned into an absolute monster for track but would cost a fortune. Keep up the great work team STG!

Sam, you did not just call that 328 a Prius, right? I totally didn't just hear that, right? I mean when you compare to a 180deg V12, ok-ish, but the 328 and 308 are really fun cars and do make a great sound. They are flat planed after all. We have the standard Euro exhaust on our 308 and even that has a great sound. Filippo is right about the mechanical sound... There are three gears to deliver the power down to the clutch and you can hear them whine. The 308/328 are easy to live with and once sorted easy to maintain. Belt service is done with the engine in the car so that is a big plus to maintenance as well. If you are ever in Colorado, let us know and we can drive the canyon roads a bit so you can get a real feel. Great video again! Really enjoying your amazing trip! Franny
the shape of an engine is given by the position of the cylinders in the engine block. so its a flat 12, not a V12. Ferrari BB owners manuals and brochures never say V12.
Wow! Just loving it. You have the early version of my favourite Ferrari, the 512 Berlinetta Boxer, and in the same show, you have the later version of the best looking Ferrari of my teens, the 308 GTB..... fricking Awesome.
Carlo is so old school and full of class, look at the Gianni Agnelli way he wears his wrist watch on the outside of the cuff of his shirt, more like this please and oh, I am of the exact age that the 308GTS is the perfect Ferrari of dreams as one Thomas Magnum drove one!

I found out that my neighbors own a 348 gtb and had a chat with them yesterday and even drove it! I am almost 2 meters tall and I did fit in the car! And I think you have to test drive one because those 348's are awesome!
That Italian gentleman made this video very enjoyable. It is nice to see classic Ferrari’s on the road. Nothing against the new models, but Enzo-era Ferrari’s still command respect and inspire. Glad to see Sam consider buying a classic Ferrari. I have a few myself, and, even though parts and materials are increasingly difficult to source, I always smile when I turn the key and hear the symphonic cylinders and smell the petrol. Enjoyed the video immensely!
Really enjoyable content Sam, this could genuinely have been part of a good Top Gear episode. Different, refreshing and I actually learnt a few things from the incredibly Italian Carlo.
I'd still go with your heart and buy a manual 360. They're a modern classic. Has all the modern things that you need, but you only bring it out on occasions. Not to mention, I love modern classics! I think they're one of the most under appreciated car genres out there.
Update: Just watched the video. Excellent as always Sam! As for getting a classic car, I'd stick with my recommendation of an MGB GT-V8 (it will give you the classic feel, but with more modern power). Personally though, I think you'd have better luck going for a 60's car. Whatever you get though, just MAKE SURE you can get a Hayne's manual for it!!!
Buy 360 Modena (not a Spider one) and do Alfagolics\Singer "thing" (Ferrarigolics, sort of) with it later in its lifecycle. That would be simply amazing: just imagine a modern-classic car, a project car for years and FERRARI with gated manual! Thanks for great content!

I have a few suggestions for you Sam... Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV (Late 60's early 70's), Lamborghini Urraco (1973-1979), Alfa Romeo GTV V6 (1972-1987)... that era. By the way, loving Vlogari.
May be the Testarossa or the newer 512 TR. Or even a 612 Scaglietti, a Grand Tourer that is already a classic V 12. Not sure if it was made with manual gearbox...
Sam you are definitely right with going for a more hardcore classic car! though you need to consider if you want to go for big power or lack of weight ;) in both cases you will surely have a lot of fun
