Hi Rich and Jacob, Aston’s are generally ‘under the radar’ colours…. Due to the fact, these people have money and don’t feel the need to be ‘flash’. Gentlemen drivers, they aren’t needing to impress anyone, they don’t need the attention…. It’s an Aston Martin, that says enough 👍

He forgot to mention that occasionally the steering wheel falls off although strongly bolted to the rack and pinion flange, but not to worry because Lotus will replace the steering mechanism for free, and that is incredible customer service from them. Oh and final thing, the front skirt can possibly detach from the nose cone and wrap around the entire front window which can fully obscure your view, so they have designed a workaround where the skirts when they detach split in two and fall away on either side of the window minimizing any driver blindness. The skirt issue they charge a fee for as they have to saw the nose skirt in half and then clamp it together again with velcro

Such a disappointment because the looks and performance of this car are awesome.

There are only 2 Lotus dealers that are close to me. One is 13 miles away and the other is 45 miles away. And I’ve already experienced 2 bad experiences with the one 14 miles away from me before I’ve even bought the car. First time when I wanted to inquire about the car over the phone the dealership didn’t bother to return my call after I left messages. 2nd time when I went to dealership no one bothered to show me the car. Haven’t bought car yet but plan to in 6 months and the one dealership closest to me (I live in Los Angeles) was the one I had 2 bad experiences with. The one 45 miles away was more helpful over the phone. What am I to do? I really want to buy and own the car but the dealership I want to buy car which is the 2nd closest to me is 45 miles away. What am I to do? Should I even buy the car? Finally are you overall satisfied with your Emira or are there more problems and headaches that come along with owning the Emira? Is it worth owning? I really want to own and drive the car. Should I buy new or used? Your input will be greatly appreciated so I’d love to hear from you and hear your experiences Thanks

Depreciation is glacial. If buying, you must be in it for the long term

With a new model its normal to have some fine tuning. However Lotus should take on board the costs for the problems.

As a car guy This is a Ferrari 550GT if im not mistaken Or the 575GTZ If it’s manual then it’s 599GT There are lots of models that look alike But ithink it’s the 599gt 2008 model if bot mistaken

Good Lord. What a pile of junk. Nothing ever changes at Lotus.

Own one. Mine has been problem free fortunately. Every time I get in, I'm aware it's a special car. Nothing else on the road looks like it. It's both exciting and beautiful, yet has a reserved elegance that somehow gives it an under-stated quality. It's not an over-the-top flamboyant "look at me" car like most super cars, yet it definitely gets attention. Looks like they're getting yours sorted out. Looking forward to your impressions after you get it back!

10 adjustments are for the damper adjustments, not the ride height. Of course, the ride height can be adjusted when using PSS10.

So just paint bubbling,water failling on the engine, ongoing HVAC issues, mis-aliged doors for wind noise, wastegate relay part failing, inaccurate/laggy rev gauge for and early engine cut off and massive depreciation. Sounds like fun.
