      I think it should be put aside from the course syllabus of CMA/CIMA but it should be made mandatory to get a certification to fulfill the pre qualification requirements

    I didn't get it from the IMA Nathan, but I did get an Excel Business Analytics certificate on Simplilearn on January 7-8. I just framed to protect it yesterday. I did complete the RPA Series course just on Saturday and Sunday through the IMA though. The actual skills of process and bot practice is what I still need to start learning. These are part of my new year resolutions, and I plan to get the official FP+A certificate this year in the IMA. I DO absolutely think Data Analytics should be a mandatory college course to stay up to date from all I've heard and have attended.

    Hey Nathan, can a business analyst or data analyst pursue a CMA? And I’ve heard you’d need experience in the accounting field to gain the certification. Is that possible with business or data analyst experience to gain it ?

    • @Cmacoach
      @Cmacoach  Год назад

      Hi, Alvin! The CMA Candidate Handbook breaks down work experience relevance nicely by listing off several job titles that would be applicable.
      I posted an article on my blog that explains each of the requirements, including the work experience requirements. You can read it here: cmaexamacademy.com/cma-certification-requirements/
      Also, you can begin to pursue your CMA before you’ve completed your education or experience requirements. You have 7 years after passing the exams to complete the requirements that you need.

      - Pursuing higher education
      - Become a CMA

    • @Cmacoach
      @Cmacoach  Год назад

      Hi Nicholas. Getting a master's degree in finance can be beneficial for a CMA as it provides deeper and specialized knowledge in the financial field. However, the decision to pursue a master's degree depends on your goals and personal circumstances.
