Wow amazing speech!👏🏻 I think this video is so suitable for young people in their 20s, including myself, who are in the early stages of quarter life crisis. In this phase we begin to question what goals and achievements we should get in our life. One of them is happiness. We wonder "where can I find happiness?", "how to find happiness?". It's all about "finding happiness". Whereas happiness is a skill that we all can work on. I’ve heard many people say that "happiness is created from ourselves, not be sought", I never believed that sentence until I finally did it myself. We should control our action not just about our positive thinking to create happiness, because if we only worrying our thought about how to be happy, it won't change anything. Let’s start an action to creating happiness by ourselves for a better life.

You must be my soulmate. I have the same problem. I hold friendship in highest regard but no one else seems to feel the same. I'm prepared to give my life for my friends but when I lost my father I didn't receive as much support from my friends as I had hoped. Everyone seems to be preoccupied with themselves and their monotonous life.

    • @MichaelMuryn
      @MichaelMuryn 4 года назад

I'm personally valuing friendship a lot. However, chance are I won't always say/demonstrate-it "actively" (I say a lot of positive things thought when I think about it, but I can also be isolated for long, not talking to some people I value because I just have nothing to say, etc. and they might "feel X" without knowing or forgetting how much I care about them... some others have no issues with that and we can not talk for 1+ year and next time we talk it is like 10 years ago when we were talking daily, same acquired respect... but I can also just not say all I think or feel awkward or whatever... and that won't mean I don't care even if someone might feel like it).
I am not saying everyone care, far from this, some don't give a F... But we should not assume something we don't know that easily. We, humans, are very good to create negative scenarios in our head. Don't conclude on them too easily. It is OK to wonder, but if you can have multiple hypothesis, don't conclude on them, like, you can think people don't care or they care AND just don't say it. Who know?
That being said, don't stop to being a good person! There are a lot of good people that care out there too. :)

This video helped me realize that in order to achieve happiness, it is also necessary to act not only with positive thoughts. I also still have trouble controlling my thoughts and emotions which makes me sometimes uncontrollable and makes my mood messy. The speaker also informed about the idea of a "psychological gym" introduced to train happiness skills. This video highlights the importance of building good habits, especially in relationships, for lasting happiness. I am very grateful to the speaker for sharing information that can be useful for all of us to create our own happiness. Thank you

I am far from perfect though I have so much forgiveness for myself and others now. I believe that every thought, action and feeling we have has a huge impact on ourselves and the world we live in. Taking this into account I strive to create a world worth living into. Obviously this may be a bit extreme for some people. Still just loving yourself enough to forgive yourself is so valuable to who you are being to yourself and others. It is powerful and you deserve forgiveness, we all do. Forgiveness will permeate into your words and actions. You will more than make up for any regret you are currently suffering. Couldn’t agree more with this video! Happiness isn’t something that just happens; it’s built through small, intentional steps. Sometimes, talking to someone who gets it can make all the difference. If offline doesn’t work for you, look online, there are platforms like Unikon and others that make it easier to connect.

Other times, I face an unbearable situation.
    I begin thinking
    ‘It won't work anyway.’
    ‘They will all hate me.’
    ‘I will only be humiliated.’
Then I think about the situations I have been avoiding.
Meeting with people that make me feel uncomfortable.
    Work that stresses me out.
Things I have been procrastinating for a while.
Try to identify the actions that you have been resisting.

🎯 Key points for quick navigation:
00:51 *🤔 Our behavior often mirrors others rather than following advice, highlighting the importance of modeling positive actions.*
02:14 *🧠 Happiness is a skill that requires positive action, not just positive thinking, as our minds naturally wander and struggle with control.*
05:39 *🔄 Cognitive biases shape our perception more than rationality, affecting how we process and prioritize information in life.*
06:16 *📉 Our brains prioritize negative feedback over positive, a phenomenon studied in how setbacks affect us more deeply than successes.*
09:32 *🎭 Happiness is not found externally but cultivated as a skill through consistent action and habits, emphasizing the need for psychological training akin to physical exercise.*
13:00 *💖 The quality of relationships, characterized by vulnerability and sharing, significantly impacts our happiness and well-being, more than the quantity of relationships.*

Happiness is indeed a choice. You can see the blessings God has given. The beauty of every single thing, of the nature, of your relationships, the sounds of the water. You just have to have the willingness to pursue these little things to see them as blessing. You have to be open to see the magic of life. The goodness, the power of the goodness. Appreciate whatever created this all, whatever caused you. Whatever power it was, that caused you to be here. Caused you to be alive, along with so many blessings. Thank that power, appreciate it. We didn't ask for anything, we got everything as a gift. So everything is a gift, WE are a gift.

Such truly words about our thoughts. This is always hard to control them, and we can’t just get over our negative and obsessive thoughts, but we can overcome our desire to do nothing. We are all human and our main goal is to create meaningful connections between each other, to create trusting relationships, sharing our love, emotions and feelings with each other, because happiness doesn’t exist if it isn’t shared. I wish everyone to find the right person with whom you will truly happy and with whom this amazing feeling will be shared

    2. Happiness is created. U are responsible for your own happiness.
    3. Celebrate your wins. Try not to focus so much on the negative that happens each day
    4. Create good relationships with your loved ones. They help to make you a happier person. Start by texting someone you care about each day until it becomes a habit

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:51 🧘‍♀️ We often face problems and crises in life, but we also long for meaning, connection, and happiness.
03:21 🧠 Positive thinking alone is challenging; our minds wander frequently, and we have cognitive biases affecting our perception.
08:27 😓 Evolution has given us a negativity bias, making us more attuned to negative information, impacting how we perceive life and ourselves.
12:45 💑 Happiness is deeply tied to the quality of relationships, and forming healthy psychological habits in this context is crucial.
15:09 🤝 Taking positive actions, being understanding, and caring not only for others but also for yourself can lead to positive change and inspire others to do the same.
