Automatic headlights Block/Switch with light sensor for VW Jetta, Passat, Eos, Audi, Skoda, Seat. In this video we will test the new Sensor light switch (end of 2020-2021) for Volkwagen Group cars and we will compare to the old one that has the external sensor cable. One light switch is new and it has the light sensor build in. So new is good? In this review:
1. Two light switches presentation, features: parking lights, low beam, front fog lights, back fog lights
2. Underground passage / tunnel behavior test
3. Headlight activation time from the moment of key contact
4. Coming home, leaving home feature
So you can mount this automatic light sensor switch/block in Audi A4, A5, A6, cars, Skoda Octavia, Superb, Vw Jetta, vw passat, vw touareg, vw eos, seat cars. When the evening/night comes the sensor has a build in value that activates the lowbeam, switching from the Drl. It is a usefull feature that does this auto to prevent you to forgot to turn your lights on. This is also a trafic safety feature in cars if you did't had from factory now OE you can have it OEM.

I put a switch with wire sensor, but in all posisions [0, Auto, P On], the lowbump stays on. What's the problem? Passat B6
I just bought the model with the sensor built in. I have a Polo 6R. IF I have the car running and I cover the sensor with a towel (to simulate darkness) and turn the ignition OFF, the car stays running for a couple of seconds!! then it re-engages the lights for a few seconds than off again, and on and off and on and off etc etc. If I lock the car, the car will REOPEN when it next tries to turn on the lights. Any idea what's happening there?
I’m having the same problem like you. I got a vw polo 6r 1.4i 16v 2011. I even get the message “no key” on my gauge cluster
this happens at night for real too obviously - makes it completely useless!

Hi, i'm from Romania too and i have a golf 6. When you open the door with the switch turned to Auto it beeps? I heard that is annoying. Also, i saw people on other reviews that say they can t turn on the fog lights after this install. Can u please answer my questions? I want to buy the one without the wire

You're talking bullshit ! Why would the lights have to turn off when you start the engine? When your battery is okay, it won't be a problem. All modern cars with auto lights turn on when the car is started. Who wants to wait 7 seconds before driving after starting the car ??
My friend you talk/type without thinking. First time in most everycar you have to wait a couple of secods for the gas to arrive from the tank to the engine. And in winter is the problem not in summer. Learn and then ask nice not like this. Learn!
@@iTechnologyReviews no sir, in fuel injected cars (all cars nowadays) the fuel in the fuel line stays for 1-2 weeks. If not, there’s a leak in the system. When I turn the key of my cars it starts immediately without any waiting, even in winter. 😉
The new cars. Remember that this weekly show is for everyone. And not everyone has new cars! Even the manufacturer says that this prpduct is meant to protect battery. So think.

alternator is working backing up the battery, it is totally fine if the lights come up with the engine, do not especulate over how the electrical system works, that will not harm in any way the battery
my friend do you know how much a Xenon buld is consuming from battery at start? especially when the engine is not running? And in the winter the battery at - temperatures, is awful! When the engine is running ok, it will charge the battery but the battery will suffer in time if it will start the lights before starting the engine.
@@iTechnologyReviews winter or not i did not have battery problems and my gti is bixenon, i was not just talking because i can, all batteries have life expectancy and that didn't make a difference in my car, also i really appreciate taking the time to reply my comment, keep the good work i enjoy your videos
