This headlight switch and control module will give you the auto function on your headlights. It has a light sensor to sense when it gets dark. The headlights will come on when you unlock your vehicle at night and when you lock the vehicle they will stay on and act as coming home lights.

Hello, i have the same thing for my mk4 bora, did it beep if you open the door?
Most of them will beep as it takes a couple of seconds for the sensor to shut the light circuit down.
Also if coming home / leaving is working for up to 30sec it will beep till they turn off. It’s doing something that your car wasn’t born with.
Nothing to worry about.
@@janeckelt9441 I've not really tested it when on manual as I keep it on auto and it turns off before I open the door
How did tou get the coming/leaving home lights to work?
Hi, considering ordering myself the kit. In your opinion should it fit a 2013 vw polo 6r? It does have a large connection block to existing light switch. Does it matter about how many pins in the connection block have cables to them?

I got a 2018 Jetta, (US) it had a two position switch, ON and OFF. I installed fog lights and this "EURO" switch, it is set to AUTO and I programmed to turn the fog lights on as well.

I understand that the electrics the same, it's just the actual switch that's different as the Audi switch includes the dash light & headlight adjuster switches too in one unit. Any pointers?

Doesn't need to be activated. It's plug and play.
Yes if you have the light sensor then you have to search it from obd

The welcome home features. When you unlock the car the head lights come on for a few seconds BUT when you lock the car do the head lights stay on for a few seconds or go off straight away?

Normally, the delay lights feature (welcome home) stays on for a few seconds (normally around 20-30 seconds on Mercedes cars) so I would assume that it stays on a while

Whilst it's not been tested on the MK4 it could work as long as the connector at the back is the same and the switch "hole" is the same.

Only if you have the same connector at the back of the headlight switch. If it's the smaller type then this kit will not work.

Grant Weller No. I haven't even tried to find, but I assume that it's for trailer hitch power supply for lights or maybe it's something for aftermarket car alarm. I don't know. Do you also have trailer or aftermarket alarm ? My car is Passat B5.5 sedan 2001 1.8T

I'm looking at getting a 2010 golf tsi and noticed the button when i viewed it at the garage. Other golfs don't seem to have it, very strange! I will keep looking, keep me updated if you find out 👍

Does this work on Audi's also? Since they share the same components.
If the headlight switch and the connector switch are the same I can't see any reason why not. We've never tested it however.

Only if the connector at the back of the light looks the same as the one in this video. Based on the year of your Polo I’m pretty sure you have a different / smaller connector.

This appears to be out of stock - I have a 2016 Amorok Atacama which has led headlights but no Auto lights. Do you have a kit for that? If so could you link me to it please I couldn't find on your website. Thanks!

Yes, just fitted in my VW polo 6r- easy and works good. In the polo forum its like, not original, china box and so on. If you dont have rain censor its perfect

It was only designed to work with the VWs. It may work with other brands but we have never tried it
Why do you need an light sensor? Headlights should be on day or night.

Do you mean the headlight warning buzzer? If so this is normal... It will do it 2 or 3 times and tehn shutdown the lighting circuit.

At your video with transporter the light stays on without blinking i want that on my mk6
Do you have normal halogen or Xenon at the moment? It shouldn't be blinking so would possibly indicate a problem.
i have xenon but i see that i have not de same conector mine is smaller than yours .. maybe somthing with vcds vag com? or maybe update

Why run aftermarket crap, search the forums, do it oem style. It’s easy
Because not everybody has the budget to do that and this a cheap win for people who want this modification. It’s actually not crap so don’t slam it.

It depends on the connector at the back of the switch. Take your switch out and see what you have.
It will work with a Skoda Octavia 2?
Depends on the connector and the switch "hole".
Pop your switch out. Push it in and try and turn on at the same time as pulling it out. Check if the fitting is the same. If it's not, there's plenty of other kits which fit vw cars on Aliexpress. I got mine for my Seat Toledo for £26 and works identical to this one.
