DIY Scorpion Repellant

If you live in the desert I am sure you have been affected by a scorpion. When the temperatures go up those scorpions come out. I found a homemade scorpion repellant a friend of mine turned me onto. I recently made this myself and just started using it so I can’t say whether it works or not but I can say it smells pleasant in my house. I will for sure keep you posted on whether I no longer have scorpion sightings or less of them. The recipe is all essential oils so you may have to make an investment if you don’t have them. Keep in mind they will last forever and have many other uses especially for cleaning and relaxing.

I’m just here for other to read that this works. And it even kills them within a few minutes of direct contact. I didn’t believe it until my wife made it and I sprayed it. Perfect for camping in the Baja.

My fiance is lame and doesnt think gett8ng the house spray professionally is the right thing. And i just looked at the bug spray hes been using and scorpions wete not the listed bug on the spray.. and i just found a scorpion in our house last night because my dog was a dumby and tried eating it and he got stung. 😑

Thanks, this sounds like a good repellant. I was also searching around wondering if Lemongrass will also deter them.
Also, if folks were to plant various herbs around the perimeter of their home such as lavender, etc and mulching with cedar chips around your plants would also be effective.
