Looks like it is some form of slippery barrier the scorpion cannot climb on the slippery material but that does not prevent them coming under door sweeps or into your home or under the garage door itself
Omg my mom has a beautiful two-story house in Mexico but I’ve only visited once in the 15 years she’s lived there because I’m terrified of the fact that Scorpions are common in that part of the country. I wish this was available everywhere because then I would go more often. For now that’s gonna have to be a big heeeell naw!!! Lol
