Great video, well put together and excellent first season racing. I've realised very quickly it doesn't matter how good you think you are at driving, when you get in a real race one will be humbled very quickly. Looking forward to meeting up with you next season.

Appreciate that Josh! Yeah that’s absolutely true. You feel in control until you don’t. But the confidence gained each race finish was incredible. You can see my first race hesitation at Croft vs the race at Outlon where I was wheel to wheel.
      Looking forward to that too!

Wow, I took my car to Snetterton yesterday and was absolutely amazed at the speed of F1000s. Baptism of fire for sure. Watching your videos look completely different since driving one myself it's hard to believe the feeling until it's been experienced. Hope to see you at Brands.

@@search4orlife glad you enjoyed it! How was your pace, do I have anything to worry about? Lol. Any offs?
Yeah these things are very quick, I don’t think my videos do them justice due to the video shake smoothing.

@@search4orlife not bad for a first attempt! Snetterton is where I first tested, it’s got some fast corners which takes big commitment which is tough for a first attempt. I can’t wait to go back now I’m more comfortable with the car, would be much faster.

how cool is that? teams helping each other out in the pits : )
now, how does this work? are the cars insured? who pays when an accident occures? the one causing the crash, no one?
    I'm really curious : )

Tell me about it! Couldn’t believe it happened, so grateful.
The cars are not insured, you pay for the damage. Fortunately I’ve not been in the position to answer that question, but I’m pretty sure you pay for you own damage. But maybe a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ if you are clearly to blame for another’s damage.

@@ChapmansCorner btw, when it comes to sponsoring, just ask and ask and ask. we have a little anual skateboard contest in our little german town. it's a really small event, nothing professional and out of the blue, someone just asked Red Bull. if they could sponsor the contest. to our all surprise, they agreed. they didn't send money but they sent tons of drinks, that were handed out for free during the contest. that was really cool. everyone had at least one red bull can in their hand, which is also good for their brand.

Well done this season mate. Nice to follow you along.
I’m still keen for the track, my ‘Go Racing’ pack is ready to send off and MSUK confirmed any medical concerns I had are okayed.
I’m doing Ryehouse Championship Karting building up to shifters next year.
But I want to get in the F1000.
Hire drive track day might earn you a season of new tyres mate ;-) lol I’d be up for it if you are.
I was looking at the paddle shifters for the F1000, might be something worth saving for.
Happy new year and looking forward to your 2024 vids.

      Really appreciate that Marcus!
Awesome news. Rye House is a tough track, not my best. If you get hold of a shifter kart let’s meet.
Unfortunately the 750MC Jedi F1000 championship regs don’t allow for paddle shifter, has to be stick shifter! The MonoPosto does, they have a cool mix of singleseater grids. Might do the Silverstone GP layout with them in July
If you’re serious, message me on Insta to discuss a test drive in my F1000. Happy New Year!

Looking to do more karting next year (Arrive & Drive at Daytona), and hopefully get into a financial place to get onto the track with 750MC in a few years time.

@@ChapmansCorner Yeah, it was a great day out. I went mainly to check out the F1000, and I wasn't disappointed! The cars are rapid and was great racing to watch!
Tamworth is my closest one, yeah. I live in the Midlands, about an hour south of Oulton Park, so it's not too far away. Went for the first time on Thursday, and it was trial by fire...or more like trial by rain! Karting in the wet was great fun, but found myself 7 seconds off the fastest guys (leader, who works there, did a 82.1, I managed 89.9). But I'll take it for my first time! Plenty to learn and improve.
Good to hear it's possible to go straight to F1000. It's definitely the formulae I'd want to join. Especially when they seem a similar pace to F4, which I love on iRacing.

Did you say DMAX karting at Tamworth? Karting in the wet is hard early on, but lots of practice and you’ll get really good. Check out my latest Club100 video for a decent wet weather 2stroke onboard.
Yeah that’s why I’ve done them. It was the one I wanted to do. Had some good casual battles with F4 cars at Donnington

It’s actually just the native GoPro sensors built in, I then put the file through the telemetry overlay. Which is why it’s not perfectly accurate but a good indication

Try to race as much as you can with new tires because it is very different. With new tires you need to trust the car more and the car can handle. I am driving race karting and I still have problems with trusting the new tires.
