@@ChapmansCorner With the interlagos race it was funny :D I was playing Automobilista 2 and noticed a website on one of the formula vee skins in the game that was saying something like "want to race this car? and then the website. So I went there and found out that they have beginer courses, so I signed up, did their course, did two races on a smaller track, and then they let me race with it in Interlagos in the main championship as well. My wife is Brazilian so that helped a lot with arranging everything as well. But If you want to race in Interlagos, just let me know, I can help you to arange a test day, or for you probably even just racing straight away :) They also race formula delta, it is made in brazil and it is much faster than the vee, it is on slics, around 170hp with halo and everything. That one I think you could participate as well. You just pay for each race. I think I paid something around 2000 eur for the interlagos race, the delta probably would be at least double. There are a lot of opportunities to race there actually.

awesome =) hey, are there things you guys do regarding the setup for tracks, where you have more turns in one direction than the other? like on brands hatch, 2 fast rights, one slow vs 2 slower lefts? : )
Absolutely, set up is key to F1000 as it is any other racing. We are using different tyres this year, Hoosiers, which are different dimensions and impact the ride height, dampers and camber. For Brands, we change the camber on the left side as you suggested due to the right turn bias. We don’t touch the dampers as it affects the cross weight too much.
@@las10plagas of course they do. A NASCAR oval has 360 degrees more left turns than right turns. The track wouldn't join up if it didn't. I know trigonometry's hard, but...lol
I only know because I’ve got a mk1 version 😂 They are a lovely car, classics now but they don’t get enough love considering the amount of F1 drivers that drove them.
So the track has been there decades the people moved in knowing full well it was a f...king race track and then complain about the noise and get their way typical of the world we live in.
Great video. Looking forward to seeing the races back, especially that last one.
Great video. Well done on your best lap time, very impressive.
Not as impressive as you finishing your races first weekend! Well done mate
Loving the content mate! What a great way to show off F1000.
Cheers Matthew, appreciate it! Tempted to come back?
great video man, that car at 4:12 is a formula Vauxhall
Cheers Tom
Great video, your f1000 seems awesome to drive!
She's a handful and has her quirks, but yes absolutely! You've raced at Interlagos?! How? That's my deam track to race at! Subscribed
@@ChapmansCorner Do you know if there are any teams renting them? Or do you need to have your own one?

@@ChapmansCorner cool, got it and thank you for the quick reply, too =)
I was always wondering about things like these
Every circuit has 360 degrees more turns in one direction than the other. Otherwise you'd end up somewhere else from where you started...
@@JonnyCooper not in NASCAR :D

Im probably wrong but the white and blue car looks like a mk2 Formula Vauxhall/Opel lotus. Early to mid 90's,
You’re right! Someone commented earlier saying F Vauxhall, good spot

I think it's funny how people buy houses next to a racetrack and complain about the noise.
The houses should be exclusively for race fans who would appreciate it!

Agreee mate, it’s a joke. Those houses should be reserved for motorsport fans only
