Hey man, nice video! I'm going to have my first time in a Formula Renault tomorrow! Even though its gonna be waay less serious than yours (its just a 15 min joydrive) I really want to get the most out of it, and I was looking for this exact kind of video to prepear me a little, so thanks!
@@Achillefsgiannisis Well I managed to spin in the first lap lol. Took waay too much speed into a corner; I just didnt yet have the feel for how fast I was really going and I was scared to break hard and risk locking up (plus my tires were cold). The rest was super fun tho, I pulled myself together and started to improve every lap, so at the end I really got to see a fraction of these cars' speed. I'm really jealous of people who get to go again and improve in these cars, and I wish you all the best for your career as well!
Good question! Compared to KZ karts, the Formula Renault was not that demanding. I think it mostly had to do with the fact that, in karts, your body is completely free to move around and so you have to keep yourself steady using your own strength. In the Formula Renault, I didn’t really move that much (because I was strapped in). That meant that I would use less force to keep myself steady. That’s my theory as to why karts are more demanding (strength wise) compared to the formula Renault. But keep in mind that the track I was testing at, didn’t have that many high downforce corners. So it might have been a bit harder (physically) if the corners were different. That being said, I don’t think that the Formula Renault could ever be MORE demanding than race karts (especially KZ). What I will say was more demanding in the Formula car, was the mental strength.
Thats awesome mate.
so happy for you dude HAVE FUN
Hahaha thanks man!
Damn, hope to see you in F1 one day, you are really a racing driver mate.
Thank you so much! Although I'd be happy to race in anything at the moment haha!!

Hard work pays off, well done dude 🎉 👌
Thanks man! I still have a lot of work to do though...haha!
How physically demanding was the car compared to karting?
