So, considering you chose the mclaren for now i'd suggest being careful choosing meta cars for other tracks aswell, they will most likely get BoP changes on those tracks to make them more in line with other cars. Also, if you continue racing at LFM, they use a custom BoP to actually make the cars equally fast, at that point its only about choosing a car that fits your drivingstyle the best and while there still are cars that a faster on certain tracks, its only by a tenth at most. Great seeing you still find errors you yourself do in the 2:16s, i have friends that are stuck in the 2:20s and cant work out their own mistakes, this kind of critical thinking is a great trait, keep it up
Thanks man! I gotta say that the Mclaren seems to fit my driving style better...but then again...I like to challenge myself, so I might end up going back to the lambo for LFM Races just to learn to adapt with a "trickier" car!
Dude I’m stuck at 2:20! I have out thousands of laps and setups in. I can get to 2:19 and once has a 2:18, bit not consistently. I’m not sure I have the optimum temp though. What is the optimum track and air temp
Your video depressed me. I have been tinkering with new gear and getting eye in with the lambo ready for some Simgrid action. I’m faster in the McLaren but I don’t like easy or following the crowd. However you make a good point, McLaren is easier to drive fast and is ultimately more competitive in race conditions.
I understand what you mean...but the MOST important thing to keep in mind in simRacing and/or irl Racing, is to HAVE FUN!!! Enjoy the beauty of the sport! If you want to drive the Lambo, drive the Lambo! It might be a bit harder to get used to, but I have seen pros do INSANE lap times regardless the car. It's possible. It just takes a bit of practice!!! So, just enjoy your new gear and the hard racing! Ps: If you've watched other ACC videos of mine, you'll notice that I never actually made the transition to the Mclaren. I just couldn't get myself to do it XD.
@@Achillefsgiannisis well yeah, I spent another day in the lambo. Did one race 8n McLaren but 8 find it bland in comparison. I just seem to have reached a plateau in the lambo I can’t seem to pass. I did notice you had not been driving the McLaren
what wing were you running on the lambo? i just did a lfm race and got nowhere near that topspeed, then i again i am told the lambo is more of a cornering car than a drag racing car...
Hey man!! I haven’t played acc in a while, so I don’t remember exactly what wing I had (it was in the lower range for sure). But in LFM the custom BoP makes the top speed of some cars much less, so I wouldn’t try to match the top speed I show in the video because I was in practice mode! Also yes, the lambo isn’t great at top speeds!!
@Achillefsgiannisis when you brake the camera go down and the camero look to apex of corner, like you do in real live, anyway if you said that is in game i have to read it better(i didn't find it)
Forget about the setup. Use the presets of the game and focus on driving! Learn proper racing lines, steering angles, trail braking and throttle control. With enough practice, you’ll be able to reach at least 2:17ish lap times. I can guarantee you that. When I first started off, I thought the setup would be my savior…but it’s not. Practice, Practice, PRACTICE. You got this!!! Ps: Did I mention practice?
i was on ACC but during steam winter sales there's very cheap 1 year subscription and so far thats all i paid. only play with the car and tracks that free and so far good enough. have so much fun on iracing & learning a lot from the online race which will help me a lot to that leap of improvement since started as rookie league with slow car, so you learn a lot. great job though anyway. keep up the good work.@@Achillefsgiannisis

@@TomTheSurgen1 lower temps = faster lap times
Lambo ecu :
Ecu 1 : understeer
Ecu 5 : oversteer
Ecu 1-5 : same engine power.
Adjust the steering with the ecu's

How you manage to have a camera vogin in that way? It feels really natural
I am not sure exactly what you're referring to...But overall, all the camera movements are in-game. I didn't change anything!
Hope this helps:)

Sure! I'll share it in my next video on Saturday!
