- RIP Jeff Beck. I had this in my vaults somewhere and upgraded it to the version you find here. Besides the 3 songs that were only available from a tape of an 4x3 widescreen version, the other songs are very good quality. Sound comes from an upgraded FM version of the whole concert. Watch Vinnie, Tal, Jeff and Jason play like their lives depend on it. Some of the songs are incredible, some are magical. From a fan for fans. Simply enjoy. Link to new show I posted: • Jeff Beck - Jason Rebe...
P.S. If you want the same band in even better sound and picture, get the excellent Beck at Ronnie's BD from 2008. Great sound and playing.

For my money, this is the best lineup Jeff ever assembled. Hard to believe he's no longer on spaceship earth . . .
Beck Bogart Appice da best! Period 👍👈
@@roberthayes7986 the group with Rod Stewart was a great line up as well. Beck Ola Album
That's what I said for the There and Back tour...
He's always assembled great lineups IMO.
There ain't nop bettah than Vinnie. Well, Dennis Chambers maybe
I know - I can't believe he's gone.
Tal went toe to toe with Vinnie and Beck on one of the biggest stages ever and she crushed it.
Truth be told, nobody sounds like the honorable Mr. Jeff Beck! Nobody!
Vinnie does a LOT of jobs with a LOT of top-line artists, but watching him here, you just get the feeling that this is a heart gig - he just loves playing this stuff. 👍
Great drummer all around. The variations and then subtle variations on the variations were excellent to hear. He arranges it very tastefully.
one more FZ drummer! He is just unreal. near the top of drummer ladder/ best for my taste he is favorite according to peers.
Love Vinnie since his Zappa days. What a talent.
Then again, this whole unit is talent and more talent stacked on top of talent.
Jeff Beck was sheer wizardry. Clapton, Hendrix and Page rolled into one artist.
Tal was only 21 when she did this? Such an accomplished musician. Holds her own on stage next to the master.
What I love is that she seems to feel the music in her soul and her expressions reflect that.
Beautiful bassist so damn talented in these pieces of love
Yes, and she had only started playing bass about 6 years earlier.
I love how Jeff Beck loves all his musicians equally. He becomes humble as an English gentleman would do.
Near the end of the set when Imogen Heap and Tal Witenfeld were on stage. Jeff Beck took a knee and took their hands and kissed them.
He is as great of a gentleman as a musician. Love him!
She gets boring after a while her solo album was awful
I think the guy on keys needs mentioned: we all marvel at Jeff, Tal and Vinnie, but this guys contribution is absolute genius level too. Four of the very best making magic happen. R.I.P. Jeff. Miss you 😢
The drummer too, I think. He makes the drums play, as well as keeping the rhythm well!
Vinnie and Jason came from Stings band
Totally agree. Jason Rebello on keys. Fantastic player.
That's one of the greats, Vinnie Colaiuta@@Gianluca.3
Tal Wilkenfeld and Vinnie are solid to monster musicians in their own right. Good stuff!
Don't forget Jason on keys!!
Tal is 37 today! ( Dec.2 1986)
🥳🎂🎉🎊
If you are on stage with Jeff Beck, you deserve to be there. R.I.P.
Tal is a prodigy and Vinny C. is Buddy Rich reincarnated.
@@rc2464 Helllllooooo!!! People just don't understand that this group is like a supergroup Beck created Lightening in a bottle.
Anyone who loves this set will adore "Jeff Beck live at Ronnie Scott's" same line up with a lot of extra guests and HD audio. Also here on RUclips. An unforgetable experience. Enjoy
Entirely! Yes!
And Jeff’s best mate was there. Jimmy Page!
I believe that he said to watch his right hand.
Great advice why Jeff was one of one.
@@stevesyverson8625 Wow, I am speechless! ❤️
I concur ❤️

Tal’s solo honestly made me cry…Like every time I hear it…Drummer is a great compliment…
From the "I bet you didn't know files" The drummer was the best man at Joni Mitchell & Larry Klein's wedding.
@@MickLoud999 Drummer Vinnie Colaiuta also played a few years with Frank Zappa and Sting.

Legend 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for POINTING that out
@@Voyager_666 Wow, she's got it!
thanks
Thanks
The greatest set Jeff ever played and the greatest group of musicians backing him up. Jeff and Tal fed off each other. The entire band did. Tal is one of the greatest bass players in this day and age. Years ahead of her time time. Natural talent.
Is it even legal to have this much fun on stage!?
Excitement to the power of maximum!
Love Tal’s playing. So does Jeff ❤ RIP
She sounds sexy, she looks sexy... she's just sexy. And the rest of the band's pretty good too!
The world is a less bright and less happy place without Jeff Beck and his music.
I like going back to this video. That young women bassist, is amazing. Her way to fame after this concert. My good drummer friend played before Jeff Beck with Los Lobos and when he came back from tour he said you can't believe this young girl on bass,in fact I believe she was in her early twenties. I still can't believe in a short time playing like that. Then of course moving playing with Herbie Hancock and other. Cheers Tal Wilkenfeld! R.I.P Jeff Beck
Jeff was and is many great guitarists favorite musician What a legend His music will never be forgotten RIP JEFF
Hi good day pues si " thank you " the charly"???
When it's all said and done Jeff may go down as the greatest guitarist EVER
The maestro. RIP you are missed.
A True Master is gone from this world too soon...😢 had the privilege of seeing him live 3 times back in the late '70s and '80s, there are no words..only great memories.
When Jeff Plays the solo at 8.30 I've goosebumbs and how well the girl plays the bass You can clearly see how shes enjoying whats shes doing... Such an incredible couple! (And You can also see Jeff's enjoying it as well), Rest In Peace Jeff Beck You'll always be in our hearts. I'm lucky enough to own all the Crossroads on Blue-ray so I can listen to this and other of his appearances. The girl is one of a kind I fell in ❤ with her playing just Wow!
Don't say couple. Tal (the bass player) said Jeff and his wife were like parents to her.
The girl has a name.
Can’t believe he won’t come roaring through my life every few years anymore. 😢
Jeff, Vinny, Tal and Jason. Freaking killer band!!!!
DEEP RESPECT AND GRATITUDE JEFF BECK! THANKS FOR THE MUSIC! R.I.P.
That bass line keeping its tempo no matter what is fantastic !!!!
she is making the least ego clams. She is super solid.
Tal is 37 today! (Dec.2 1986)
🥳🎂🎉🎊
Jeff Beck was the guitarist’s guitarist. There have been many greats, but Beck did it for many different decades and styles. He wasn’t a one trick pony. He was a jack of all trades, and master of all.
nothing anywhere or anytime, like jeff beck ..his legacy will live on forever .
I was lucky enough to see Jeff live many times. Nobody I’ve seen has silenced an audience and kept them silent like he did. Nobody dared make a sound lest they miss something magical.
Been a fan of Jeff's ever since I found his records and my brother-in-law's stack in the seventy s
Now I feel stupid for saying that I liked Jeff Beck on Les Paul.
His emotions are much more displayed on the Strat as this video shows.
Jeff knows best!
I am bewildered
Proving that there is truly only one best guitar if you can handle it..
Jeff beck is god to the guitar no picks involved and bend those strings like only him !!! God bless him and thank you so much Mr beck
I've heard some of his concerts with different drummers and bassists; none of them were this good. IMHO Tal is one of the worlds best, and her talent complemented Jeff's talent exponentially.
Love seeing Jeff smile with the joy of being in such fine company. Literally brought tears to my eyes.
What a combo here! Every now and then I sneak the live album with Jan Hammer into the local bar's playlist. Nobody complains.
Never heard Jeff Beck. This is awesome. First time.
I envy you for all the music you still get to hear for the first time.
It gets better every time!
Jeff Beck was certainly capable of playing the traditional way, obviously it was boring to him, so he came up with his own sound/ process. I love it, have for a long time!
Whatever kind of music you want to define this as... this is ridiculously amazing! There are NO better bands than this!
I keep watching this...its just one of the greatest gigs I've ever had the pleasure of watching
I agree. It is superb.
Jeff is always Jeff, but I LOVE Tal !!
Jeff's music is so meditative and other worldly. I find this concert so moving and maybe even more so after his passing. His spirit will always live on . Tal, Vinnie and Jason are so in tune with his music That it really takes you somewhere else. So damn good.
The more you listen to Beck, the more you realize he was indeed the greatest. Only peer is Hendrix.
Yeahhhh, he and Hendrix had the Muse on their shoulders….
@@annalisa14 I had the joy of seeing Hendrix live - not so Beck to my sorrow especially now that he has passed away...so sad.
Maybe Mark Knopfler as well ? 🙏
Keith Richards is an honourable mention ?
You have a good sense of humour my friend - Keith Richards? Thanks for making me laugh....
@@jumpinbruno thanks jumpinbruno 🎶🎶 and thanks to Keith
Who may be a walkin talkin miracle 🎶🎶
I was at this one. It was very hot. And amongst the great lineup, Jeff and the group stole the show hands down.
Jeff and Tal are so close musically despite their disparity in age.
So beautiful to see!
Thank you for this masterpiece of music!
I can remember Jimmy Page in the audience listening to his friend Jeff Beck.
It was very special to me because I knew that Jimmy wrote Jeff’s Bolero for his mate.
I hope that the memories never end.
Nunca he oido a nadie sacar sonidos de una guitarra tan diferentes, le he oido incluso tocar en un concierto solo de rocka billy y roll y adaptarse, creo que es el mejor guitarrista electrico que he oido jamas.
Jeff Beck is the best ever really ❤
Oh my GOD!! Such sheer magic from one soul!! The "Master of Touch and Tone" SPEAKS!!! So great!!! So unique a player among players!! Forever Jeff Beck!! RIP…
You are missed very much Jeff.
I've been playing guitar 30 + years. Jeff plays the sickest lick I've ever heard at the 14:01 mark.
Jeff, Vinnie, Tal and Jason play like they have been playing for 20 years together, which is impossible considering Tal isn't any more then 20 years old here. What group of musicians!!
21
Saw him seven times. He was absolutely amazing. Gawd, how I miss him but am so grateful for him and his music. Only two words to say after seeing him: JEFF BECK.
Excellent sound quality to honor as it deserves the great Jeff Beck and the wonderful bassist Tal Wilkenfeld! Unforgettable Concert!
Seen Tal a bunch of times. Two of them together at this show, magic!! Whole band sounded incredible
My favorite guitarist since the release of the first Yardbirds US album. The one with the odd lavender cover with the Guv'nor sitting at a piano(?!!).
Jason Rebello performs a magnific concert.
He is the "bed" of this band.
Perfectly! Bravo!!!👋👋👋👍🙏
love love love what a master what a band
Not by far Jeff's first concert, nor close to the end, but the combination of the four musicians, the production, the technicians, the recordings as evidence AND YOUR WORK, have created one master piece. Thank you. I've seen pieces of this here and there, but this compilation is awesome.
ANd Bill Murray, f course.
Yes!
Alcohol is a pretty lousy typist.
Juste magnifique!Que d'émotions! Jeff,Tal,Vinnie et Jason incroyable...
All playing at such a high level! All crushing it. Beck, Colaiuta, Wilkenfeld, Rebello. I keep adding to this comment! Not only is Vinnie one of my fave drummers (his left hand has the most satisfyingTHWACK), but they are also all LISTENING to each other so well. Dynamics, unison, everything. This is an astonishing set. RIP, Jeff.
To be able to see all of these musicians who, despite their age ranges, were clearly at the top of their game, is marvelous. Isn't it great to be alive at a time that lets you experience such as this well after the fact? Bravo to all of 'em.
Saw the original JB Group at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit with Rod & Ronnie, then at the Masonic Temple with Max Middleton and Cozy Powell. I am so regretful I didn't get to see this incredible one.
Saw Beck when he toured with The Mahavishnu Orchestra in the early 70's. At the end, both bands came out on stage and did an extended version of Stanley Clarke's song "Power"
Jeff plays incredibly well mahavishnu tunes right here, my two favourites, Jeff and John!!
This is great to find. I'd only seen the tracks edited for the Festival video. I always wondered what his set consisted of. The Mahavishnu opening was incredible.
An amazing artist at his best.
Thank you Eric for having him there twice.
Jeff Beck forever 🕉
Yes!
Thank you for uploading this concert. I'm really enjoying it!
And no singer needed. Jeff sings through his guitar...
...seeing the fun they are having is straight forward - simply overwhelming...
Many people do not understand great guitarists.
Steve Vai is exceptional and so is Jeff Beck.
One must be born in the 1950s to appreciate Jeff Beck apparently.
The later generations will always follow those who are more current.
It always comes down to music appreciation.
I love them both.
However the numbers don’t matter.
Please just love the music.
Thank you Jeff :(
I love listening to Beck and I love looking at Tal.
Great drumming to compliment the rest of the players.
over plays often here.
And thank you so much for sharing this with us all. Very much appreciated 🤗
ditto that Carolyn 4153
What a great introduction ❤❤…. Love live concerts ….. this one looks absolutely brilliant
The title fails to include Jason Ribelo. This is genuine ensemble playing.
That said I prefer this set as played at Ronnie Scott's: as in the compilation by Silver Bell.
I'm right where I was a year ago..
I can't believe that he was human and I don't believe that God can not replace him ... check that..I have no words to explain
Him
God Bless Jeff
Uhh I believe is
What I said 😊
I can't remember how many times I've listened to that concert. It just keeps getting better. This vid is the most complete and best sounding I've heard yet. Sensational...in every 'sense' of that word. Pure genius. Thanks. RIP JB.
The space and time in between his notes, just WICKED. My favorite lineup that Beck had is this lineup. Was raw, real and insanely tight with GREAT energy by all the players.
Wow thanks so much for this!! I've been on the musival outskirts of Jeff Beck-town until the last few years....I can say now how much I dig & understand his talent. Guess the master will come when the student is ready! This particular line up just blows me away....blow by blow.
Fenomenal
This is incredible!
Jeff’s tone with Tal and Vinnie blows my mind.
I have heard so much music from them.
Yes, is Increíble!
I thank carolyn4153 for this beautiful video!
I am currently watching Blu-ray Live at Ronnie Scott’s.
Joss is singing “People Get Ready”
Yes I would climb on board!
And I have.
Love you all!
I always knew Jeff Beck was really good. And for me personally. He is definitely Number 1 without doubt. I have never been so moved by a performance as i have by this. I was actually in tears! His complete respect for Tal, and his band was so beautiful. And Tal's joy and respect for Jeff was so beautiful ❤
Whooee, three fantastic musicians with the inimitable unique sound a style of Jeff Beck.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Such an epic upload 👏
Thanks so very much for this gem 💎
I got little tears watching this
Un saludo cordial a todos un excelente concierto completo para la buena música 🎶 👍 👌 👏 😉 🙌 🎶
Seriously ! As Frank could said, you can't do that on stage anymore ! Thank you som uch for sharing. Merci.
Tal is an ANIMAL 🎵🎵💞. I think Stanley Clark was the original bass player on wired and blow by blow
Phil Chen played bass on Blow by Blow and Wilbur Bascomb on Wired.
God Bless their music together.
I have never heard anything like that since I was born in 1950.
Increíble!
I don’t know where I am right now.
Jeff Beck and Tal Wilkenfeld have brought to a special place.
They are so wonderful together and they have brought me to a special place. Please forgive my grammar.
Music is your special friend!”Jim Morrison”
Yes I know that I am toasted. And I will always be by your side.
Bless your all!
Chokes me up every time
A reference for future generations. Great gig.
Fabulous bass player too. Perfect together. Wow!
Just having BM introduce the set is epic!
Jeff Beck.....the great !
Incomparable sound and performance with top shelf musicians
Jeff es un titan creo un estilo y sonido único al tocar la guitarra pero los grandes grupos son cuando cada uno de sus miembros son tan naturalmente grandiosos qué se amalgama a la perfección y este es el caso, un grandioso grupo!!!! Jeff rip!!!
