I’ll wait for the PL350C. That will smoke the competition, and ModLite for me has been a game changer. Between the PL350 and the OKW… they have set the standard for what WML outputs should be.
We're excited to see that light come out!
@@WerkzHolsters the surefire looks great from what I can see. That said, surefire has always put out quality gear with a lot of testing and they’re usually some of the most robust on the market. Thank you for this content and for always being at the forefront of the WML game especially with holsters.
Until they make a slim frame compatible body, you'll be stuck with full size guns or other guns with a 1913 rail. so no g43x and the like.
That light is almost a whole inch longer than this and will stick out way past the barrel of compacts. Probably going to be a great light, but not really a reasonable comparison.
$400 for ten minutes of max output?! Hard pass.!
Wonder if Cloud Defensive is gonna finally release the EPL to compete against this.
I hope not, the EPL should be competing against the X300T.
@@theREALdingusMD they're making two variants, an EDC sized and full sized variant.
@@TROY-MCCLURE-1991Nice! Didn’t know that, thanks.
Just started the video but 800 lumens,? 15,000 Candella? 404 dollars?
Yeah the Sig FOXTROT2R has 750 lumens, 20,000 candela, and I only paid 130 (delivered) for mine.
Where did you find the F2R for 130? The cheapest I can find on Amazon is 180
@@StevenL00 I bought mine directly from Sig. Bought it back at Christmas time so they had it on sale.
Just looked on Sigs website they are now 149 with free shipping, and they're in stock. Sig ships very fast too I had it a couple days after I ordered it.
Will be picking up a few more soon.
@@StevenL00for some reason YT deleted my comment.
Everytime I type it YT Deletes it. It's on the company that makes the FOXTROT2R site
Same company that makes the P320, and the P365, And the Legion series.
They're 149 now, but free shipping, bought mine on a holiday sale.
$500 for a light .... nah $500 for that 19X yeah !
I've seen videos showing the output from these Surefire Lights. They were very impressive in output and throw. However I do wish the price was lower and the runtime higher.
Yeah, it has greater output than a Streamlight at 2.5-3X the price. I'm poor so I will stick with my Streamlights'!
I’m waiting for 2011 holster for this light.
That would be cool... any other people have this request?
For that price I'll stick with streamlight
No
I don't care what the light offers there is no tiny little flashlight like that worth four or $500 when you can get something that works pretty decent for a quarter of that.
People are sure to complain about the price, but there are certainly people out there like myself that are happy to at least have the market option of a light that is 10% better, even at 2× the cost. XSC is another example of this in the 3" barrel gun size.
Love seeing constant innovation, but I wonder if the demand for higher and higher output in smaller and smaller packages has resulted in a market of lights which are bordering on impractical due to battery life. Only a few minutes of full output? This is getting pretty bad. Every time I see runtime graphs like this, I think about how much I love my 300-lumen TLR-1 (non-HL) which is still on the original batteries.
I think it boils down to application: a full sized light on a duty pistol vs. a compact light on an EDC are going to have very different parameters for output and runtime.
Yah, no!
Yeah, nah.
When I was in USMC 11th MEW, in 1996-97, we had only 30 lumens on our weapons lights!, and we swore about it!, I’ll take 80 lumens any time!.
Surefire had me reaching for my wallet up until you showed the lumens over time graph jeez
Got mine for $260. Makes the tlr1hl stupid
where the hell'd you find that price?
But the cheap high light laser combos for $50.
