    Love the video! Thank you for all the great info. One of my biggest hang ups, is the cost of these "premium" options. I know...I know, the "You get what you pay for" crowd. But $300+ for a flashlight that mounts to your firearm sounds unreasonable. There are options, that do the same thing, for WAY less.... just not made in U.S.A. But that should drive these companies to offer at least a couple options for the majority of us who don't want to spend that amount of money on something we might possibly need if the situation arises.

    This was a very informative video, and you're now the Go-To company to get data on the new WMLs that are released. Considering that I own about 5 of your holsters including for my EDC, if you wouldn't mind making a video for those of us who plan to train OWB with a thigh strap, and "Safariland" style holster if those are based upon the LIGHT that is used and less on the model firearm. I'm also looking more to see if the Olight PL-Turbo meets your standards similar to the SureFire X300 Ultra (the turbo has too much of a focus beam for home defense IMHO) . I know you were NOT a fan of the Olight PL-3, (or was it Olight in general?). I know that was a lot to read, but your input is highly regarded here, and would be much appreciated

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback. First, our M7 OWB holsters have been on hiatus since late last year, but that is not a space we have abandoned. Stay tuned. Pretty sure we have a Turbo video. Search Olight Turbo on YT and it should come up. Starts with a garage scene. I am no against Olights, and we continue to support their products. Olight lights are not yet "professional" products in my opinion, but they continue to improve. Since people ask about them, I have a ton of Olight content. I'm sure we'll come out with content in the future on the OWB stuff including drop leg, and it's better addressed in a full topic. Blessings!

    I was recently very disappointed in my tlr-7, when I was training in a low light environment. Not a dark environment, an unlit garage structure in daylight. So sun poking through windows but not well enough to clearly see anything. My TLR-7 was not able to penetrate well enough for rapid target recognition. The TLR-1 did fantastic of course. …Still, both leave me wanting even more.

    Disappointed, I was also really excited for the modlite hoping it would be a competitor to the trl7a rather than the x300t but offer more candela than the 7 but now with the hlx, I think the modlite has no real gain anywhere and doesn’t serve a reason to get over other options. Otwb where size isn’t a factor the 350 or x300t make more sense but the 350c doesn’t shave enough size down for the lack of output when compared to the new hlx when the hlx holsters will fit the 7a but the 350c is standalone and still being much longer than the hlx.

    Hard pass. If you need an American made light, x300T all day. If you need a compact light, TLR7-HX has better specs. The fact that it’s still only constant-on, bulky and anemic makes it a no go on all fronts.
