We anxiously await the return of the Lego RUclips king! Your high effort Pirate, Western, and Adventurers videos inspired me to make something similar to showcase/preserve Rock Raiders.
Hopefully you are doing well, Jamie!
An amazing job at rock raiders I'd say. I own the whole line/ absolutely love it
Seeing your videos recently inspired me to return here actually. Thanks for picking up the baton (and putting your own spin on it). Glad this style of Lego content which feels truely rewatchable can live on.
Two excellent channels.... Please return.
Fancy seeing you here
I know its been 2 years and you've probably retired (or taking a hiatus to gather sets) but please continue the Adventures Retrospective! Its so cool seeing the long past of Lego without licenses.
My favorite sets are the non licensed ones, when they created their own themes.
Yes. I would be so happy about TrikBix' return.
Such great reviews!
I wish he was still uploading. Just got into Lego and in my opinion he’s one of the best RUclipsrs
wth happened to TrikBrix?
Hope your still out there somewhere because LEGO has announced the Set 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay from LEGO Ideas. You might me very excited with this one as it has some features that you may remember in your childhood.
look at info at his channel
he says that he is well and alive but he is losing intrest for lego and its taking all his free time so i think he isnt gonna come back

@@strex9610 ok "bro" it still wrong Information
Very epic set indeed!
I wonder what trikbrix is gonna do to make a comeback I hope it’s adventurers season 3 or cowboys season 2
Just discovered him, hope he will be back!
no i dont think so look at info at his channel
he says that he is well and alive but he is losing intrest for lego and its taking all his free time so i think he isnt gonna come back
I need more TrikBrix!!!! I have now almost bought everything he has reviewed, lol!
@@strex9610 did you even read what he said? I see you copy pasting this under every comment that mentions his absence, which is annoying in its self, but what you say is totally inaccurate. You must have only read half of his post because he does say he is currently losing interest in lego, but instead of saying anything about quitting for good, he literally says that he does not expect his break to last forever.
@@JBBrickman when i posted that comments he had in his bio what i said
Even if you don't come back, I hope you're still doing well! Your videos have been really inspirational for me.
Here lies the greatest LEGO RUclipsr that ever there was. We were not worthy.
Dude, what happened to you? Why the long absence?

he says that he is well and alive but he is losing intrest for lego and its taking all his free time so i think he isnt gonna come back
That is a shame
Oh my gosh! i've been binge watching all of ur videos since yesterday (discovered your channel from your pirates reviews) and you've uploaded today! You're a great person and hope to see more from you.
Hey, thanks so much!! I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel, and you haven’t seen the last of me! 😎👍
No problem! Also, will the Armada sets get their own reviews?
I would eventually like to collect (and review) ALL of the Pirate sets... the only thing holding me back right now is my bank account, lol. 😄
Haha, well have a good evening and thanks for the video.
😊👍
The sets always look so majestic when you have them all grouped together! Truly a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
Agreed! I was always amazed as a kid looking at the layouts in the old catalogs with everything all together, so it’s always fun to try and recreate a little bit of that feeling. Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Btw if anybody's wondering he's still active on his Instagram, @trikbrix
Thx for the info. Did not really know if would do more reviews.
To me the best theme in lego history! A huge part of my childhood in just one video! love it!
Agreed! Pirates are my #1, too! Thanks for watching, and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 😎👍
Pirates and classic town shit all over any other themes then and now
patiently waiting for another vintage set line retrospective
So sad that when the coppa law takes effect, we can probably no longer post comments. Such a shame. Love your videos, man.
People going to have a fight with coppa for sure.
Honestly, this theme is that good, that i cant pick top 25.
I’ll admit, it wasn’t easy! 😄 Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Propably my new favorite channel! I've missed good reviews for classic sets and themes like Town, Pirates and Adventurers and this is just the perfect channel! Keep up the fantastic work!
@@D.P.O. proof?
I'm not gona lie Jamie, you made my eyes tear up watching this. The simple fact you own the Islanders sets makes me SO HAPPY you'll eventually do full in depth reviews on them, hopefully.
Hey, thanks so much! You will DEFINITELY be seeing Islanders reviews from me in the future! Thanks for watching! 😎👍

@@Iche_mache_bombenThe future that never came. 😢 🏴☠️
God I miss those days, I was 6-9 years old when Pirates were a thing, loved those sets but couldn't ask my folks to get them all, where I live Lego was much more expensive back then.
Yeah... I’d love to see Lego bring back pirates in a grand way, now that I’m ‘grown up’ and have more than $2 a week allowance. 😄
Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Hey man, do you have any plans to return to yt? I love your content!
look at info at his channel
he says that he is well and alive but he is losing intrest for lego and its taking all his free time so i think he isnt gonna come back
I know this might be a bit pushy but I wish you would come back. I understand if you just decided to quit the RUclips game but I love your content and hope you are doing okay and will comeback soon
your channel needs way more attention from the lego community. Keep up the good work
The top 3 is hard to pick but I had a feeling those would be at the top. I had collected every pirate set between 1989-2000 but never built all of them. Mainly built the ships. Sadly - when I discovered the 12v trains - I decided to part with most of my collection so I could afford the trains. Nice seeing yours.
Thanks, Jaabo! I actually had a difficult time with the top TEN, lol.
It really makes it tough when you don’t have infinite funds and have to decide between themes... I’m kind of in the same boat with M:Tron; I have them all, but I’m trying to decide if I should sell them to acquire sets I know I’d like more. Tough call.
Thanks so much for watching - it made my morning to see your comment! 😎👍
dude your videos are absolutely incredible. best vintage reviews out there. they are amazing quality. we miss you dude. you obviously should get more views but you need to grow and keep uploading for that. Thanks for the vids you did. Wish youd come back.....and i know im not alone in that
Tbh if you ever make a comeback it would be one of the best days in Yt history
Just subbed! I have the 89' Caribbean Clipper, Smugglers Shanty, and Shipwreck Island 89'. My dad bought them more for himself at that time, but no complaints in retrospect!!
We share secret toasts to his health as we await the return of the king
Wish you would come back. Your reviews are amazing.
I hope you return some day to do more retro reviews, I found nothing alike. You make me want to buy the sets you review even though they're only available second hand. Love your style, I hope you can cover other cool themes from the past!

he says that he is well and alive but he is losing intrest for lego and its taking all his free time so i think he isnt gonna come back
I think I have a new favorite channel.
The only thing I said when the video started: ''Daaaaaamn''
Awesome collection, nice work and good for archival purposes, those sets are just soo wholesome.
Thanks!
I wonder where trix Brix ever went I hope he comes back I miss his videos 😢
Hope you’re doing well Jamie! We miss you and hope you’ll consider making a triumphant return soon with more epic themes and wonderful Lego insights. If you started a gofundme I’d contribute eith no hesitation.
Please come back for 2022
wow amazing collection I really like the islanders line you could literally match up the islanders and pretend it's Achu's army from lego adventures that would be an interesting cross over
Funny that you say that, because just the other day I was kicking myself for not bringing the Islanders into my Amazon Ancient Ruins review... that would’ve been perfect!
Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoyed it! 😎👍
In Lego Island 2 on Adventurers Island the Islanders are seen with Achu as NPCs
Also in the PC Legoland game there's a cutscene where we see Johnny Thunder being chased by the Islanders in a jungle
Never had a pirate set, but I know I would of loved as a kid!
3 years ago oh man. I was looking forward to aventurers 3 but it will never come : (
31 years later, and I never realized the rowboat could go on the back of the Barracuda. I need to do that once I rebuild it again.
Please, do come back, if you can.
Skull's Eye Schooner was my white whale. It hurt how badly I wanted that as a kid, but my parents didn't make that kind of money. 25 years later and I finally got one. It was better than I ever hoped it would be.
2022 and no new videos. Miss you :(
When I was a kid in the late 80s I was obsessed with Pirates and pirate mythology. I was also a huge Lego fan. The excitement I felt at seeing that first Lego Pirates catalogue in 89 is a feeling I've never experienced since!
I got the Barracuda for Christmas in 89 after staring at the Lego catalogue for hours each day. It was the greatest gift I ever received. But a year or so later, when I saved up and bought Skull’s Eye Schooner…well, the Barracuda just didn’t seem as shiny anymore
Come back bro we need you :’(
The black seas barracuda is my all time favorite Lego set, but i still don't have it, (still looking)
It’s been exactly one year since you’ve left, I hope you’re okay, big guy
Yes, the Schooner is the best. It's the Pirate ship I always wanted and never got. I'll get it on BL next year. Hopefully, I'll find it not too expensive.
Yo these sets are wish af. Would be top to gotten more pirate things as kid but loved the effs out the red beard broken sail ship. It did many a battels against my cusins pirate ship (don't remember what one he had tho)
Hope you come back
Come back dude !
Jamie, please come back!

100 % agrée with your classement
My number one is the Enchanted Island. It is the one I always wanted. I had a smaller island set and I deamed of having the big island.
Enchanted Island is certainly a worthy #1! I wanted it so bad as a kid, too. Classic!
Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Great review of your Top 25 pirates sets! I'd have chosen those Top 3, as well. Although I'd have placed Barracuda 1st, Trading Post 2nd, and Scooner 3rd. I personally like the colors of the Barracuda and the Trading Post much better than those of the Scooner. Granted, the Scooner has more functionality and is overall a bit larger, but the colors don't "pop" as much to me and I am not a fan of the huge big skull on the sail. Whenever I see the Barracuda, it screams joy, adventure and LEGO nostalgia to me. The red, yellow, black and brown just make for an eye-popping impression. Same goes for the Trading post with its red roofs, yellow and white brick and mortar buildings. It's just more colorful and LEGO-esque to me, if that makes any sense. The Scooner is a bit pale by comparisson... I mean, it's basically the color palette of a sleleton, so in that sense very well done, but also bland. Plus, the green porthole covers and blue lanters just stick out like sore thumb to me.
I try to capture some of the old LEGO designs in my MOCs. If you're interested, pay my channel a visit!
In any case, keep up the great work!
It's been 2 years since you made video can you please make a season 3 of Lego adventures
Brother please come back. I just love your videos.
If only we could get him back I can’t take it anymore

@@TrikBrix can't wait for the Enchanted Island one ... after seeing it in this video again i think i need to order one myself :)
Do it! As you can see from the video, I think pretty highly of it. 😊
@@TrikBrix btw i know that compared to Pirates/Western/classic space etc these themes are relatively recent but are you interested in LOTR/Hobbit sets by any chance? :) would love to see reviews of those done by you
I’m glad they made the baracuda bay set with the original red sails but I too feel that the skull’s eye schooner is the superior vessel 👍
Awesome LEGO PIRATE SETS!!!! I Subscribed to your channel!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! 😎👍
You're Welcome! I collect all of my LEGO Pirate Sets for my Collection!
much better design then modern lego sets
What an awesome collection! My favorite theme of all LEGO ever! Thanks for such a collection video.

Hopefully will get some more videos one day.
Outstanding video, as always! Oh how I envy your pirate collection! xD
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! 😎👍
hi trikbrixs im a big adventures, pirates and western fan so i wondered when the adventures series on dino island will start up. ive even collected some pirates minifigures along with Johnny,Doc lightning,Ms Gale Storm,Sam sinister,Baron Von Baron and the Pharaoh from the sphinx set. hope you could please get back to me on this.
I had quite a lot of these as a kid, Lego Pirates was my absolute passion back then. The only newer Caribbean based set I like but sadly missed, because it released in my dark ages, is the Imperial Flagship! I was one of these weird kids that prefered the imperials (I called them soldiers back then!) and I modified my Barracuda to be a readcoat imperial ship with custom sails. The original imperial ships looked cool, especially the second one, but they were too small for the Admiral!
The islanders were such a cool addition as well, a third and neutral faction opened up so many possibilities and the Enchanted Island defined the atmosphere of my little island world.
What is the super rare figure from #1 set?
Trixbrix you’re videos have inspired me to collect vintage LEGO sets I really hope that you post again I love your videos!
Man, I miss your reviews so much
Gosh, this short clip of the combined collection worth every moment of waiting.
Haha, glad you liked it! It was fun trying to squeeze everything into one shot! 😄
For me the #2 will be forever the #1
I still have my Pirate Galeon with red and white sails built on my shelf!
Ive seen you on Brickitects community post :D

I’m a sucker for these fantastic old sets, I just don’t have the money to buy them
I know the feeling... I got reeeally lucky on a few of these, and other ones waited for months/years until I found the best price. Lots of patience and luck went into this collection, lol!
Thanks for watching! 😎👍
What an awesome sight these sets are together and what a marvellous collection you have created! A question, if I may: are you still working on the season 3 of the Adventurers theme? That's my favourite theme and I'd love to see your review of it. Keep up the great work!
Trikbrix, you are missed
Hey TrikBrix, Where are you?
Can you do one on 4.5v and 12v trains from 1980 to 1990?
I’d love to, but I really don’t know anything about LEGO trains, never having owned one. Maybe try BrickTsar, BrickTrains, or BricksNostalgia? Sorry I can’t be of more help!
When are you coming back?
He might not
I am working on a video showcasing every LEGO Adventureres set ever released, may I use your music for my video?
Lol, why complain about official LEGO boats? Just rebild em you like. Ez.
These videos are great, takes me back to my child hood. The pirate and knights themes where my favourite growing up. Owed a few pirate sets, it was cool getting flash backs from 25 years ago when I seen sets I owner appearing in your video. A lot of them I haven’t seen before, seems like an interesting thing to collect.
I keep coming back and rewatching your videos.. hope you are still out there and doing the stuff you love..
Pirates and Castles were my favorites in the 80s and 90s.
Town / City was cool is you could actually have your parents buy you an actual train, train station and the vintage Red and Blue crossing...... with road plates of course to make it come together. one of the town sets i know I had back in the day was Pier Police, the Octan gas station with car wash and the pier with crane / tanker ship.
I miss those days of childhood
Classic Lego collecting is an expensive hobby so its understandable new videos are on a hold. I am however looking forward to your take/review on a new theme soon!
It all looks amazing displayed together at the end. I'm glad you moved your hands out of shot for a second :)
Glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely fun trying to squeeze everything into one shot, lol... Thanks for watching! 😎👍
Redcoats all the way
I just Rebuild Set 7317 Aero Tube Hanger From Life On Mars, I love this set and hoping you can do a review on 7317 one day. ( If you know what the set is lol) But for me, it without a question ask a 10/10.
I’ve only ever seen pictures of that one, but I remember thinking it looked pretty cool back when it was still in catalogs. Hopefully someday I’ll do a review on it! 😎👍
@@TrikBrix Is a good set and is worth it, Just your going to have to pay up alease $100-120 to get a copy open and $300-400 Seal. I got it for only $60, a steal I proud to say.
