Connector 31B (6 place TYCO multilock unsealed), pos 1 or 6 for gnd, pos 3 or 4 for pwr
Throttlegrip new product Easy Grip Rattlekiller, order via instagram stefans_garage or easygrip_rattlekiller
Torque values:
Fuel tank front 38-43NM, rear 25-29NM
Instrument console 3,5-5,7NM
Switch housing 4-5NM

Hello again Stefan. i hope you are well. im considering getting heated grips for the the 2017 dyna low rider s so im hoping this method is similar. 1st question: do you know the rough length of the heated grip wires as i plan to raise my handle bars and may need to by an extension for the grips also? 2nd question: the connector you show and give the description below, i can seem to locate this on ebay etc. would you have a link to a website for this exact connector? there are so many confusing options online and i dont want to make a mistake.
Thanks for watching, in the Harley Kit are some extension wires included. Those should be sufficient. I don’t have a link, I just had two of the connectors as a spare, from Road King turn signal conversions. I just checked the free Harley partsfinder on my dealers website. 2017 Softail Heritage (that’s the one using this connection) has 73156-96BK for the housing and 73191-96 for the sockets (2x).
But please double-check, I cannot guarantee

Exactly, but You need the mentioned pins and housing. Works perfect for two years.
I cannot for the life of me find that throttle side interconnect cable under the tank. How do you identify it?
It is an open connector hidden in between the other wires on the left (I believe) side.
@@stefansgarage3014 oh it's on the left side, so not the throttle side like you show in the video?
@@jherbolic I have not worked on the Slim since then. It is where I show it on the video, but I remember it is hidden in between many other wires.
@@jherbolic I just rewatched the video, it should be easily accessible on the right side underneath the rubber. An open connector with black/white black cables. If not, you might have a different version/modelyear
