I was there too. Ears still ringing. Eric had a funny moment before the song. He should have started off with saying something to the effect that this moment is a highlight of my career. Imagine the honor to touch that guitar let alone play it like a master.
EJ wow ! highlight for him to play Hendrix Strat, you can hear the tone in that, EJ is a unique player and a difficult style to copy.. He must have an old fuzz face…soaring Sound, thanks to the camera man for catching this
Once again....why I no longer can go to concerts. Johnson is playin' his ass off on a very difficult song to play....and STILL you can hear the asinine folks in the crowd yabbering back and forth....ARRGGHH!!! I will be attending a show in December and if this happens there....that will unfortunately be the end for me. And I've been attending shows regularly since The Beatles at The Hollywood Bowl. I will miss the power and the vibe of a live show.....but rude fans have ruined it.
Yes 100% ! And they aren’t saying anything of importance, just blabbering as you say. Why are they there ? The solo on are you experienced is one of my favorites all time.
Man, what a rude guy that Eric Johnson is. He's up there making so much noise with the guitar, I could hardly understand the conversation those guys were having.
I know right?! Imagine playing over people talking at a concert, what could make someone do that?! So what if there are people who paid to see the show who might actually want to listen to him play! What a fucking asshole!
Watch out young Hendrix fans. This is great. But above I saw the Hendrix Concerts double LP priced near $300 on Ebay. Two of them. Outside of this, Manic Depression and maybe 1 other I was very disappointed with the double album. And here it is from Winterland. Also the Royal Albert Hall concerts are pretty damn good and go for Under $30. The history of his releases are vast. But I was there. Shop around. Jimi and the guys had an exhausting tour life and some of the shows sucked. Some because they were tired and some because of equipment malfunctions, etc. Enjoy this. I don't Live Today off of Hendrix Concerts is great too I think. But not much more.
If you're not used to sitting in the front then just stop talking when the legend Eric Johnson is talking!
agreed. im sitting here in a rage lol stop talking ya dick lol

🎉🎉🎉🎉 amazing! That solo transpose a reversed solo into real time

I'm sure Jimi would be delighted to see Mr. Johnson doing his song and guitar such justice (right side notwithstanding, of course).

Yes, I remember how quiet and attentive the crowd was for the Beatles. You could hear a pin drop.
@@alanwebbguitar Fuck that's the funniest comment I've read in quite some time!!
Worth to play on it
Awesome! Wish I had a good board feed of that with better audio!
Nice job Eric👍
People who talk the whole time need to leave! So annoying!!!!!
Right? What a jackass! He's experiencing one of the best guitarists in history, and all he can do is yak away at someone else.
Who are the idiots talking through the entire song.
Yeah…the people right next to me…appear they were only Zakk Wylde fans. Unfortunate.
@@SeattleStoodios It's okay. Check out my other comment on here I just made. HEHEHEH

"ARE YOU EXPERIENCED?"...THEE MOST underRATED ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!!!!
Wondaful to hear the constant chatter over the music.
I bet he re-radiused the fretboard on the DL
I bet he did not TOUCH that guitar....other than to play it. Not his to do that to begin with.
