I agree you need to change the wheels. You risk impacting your mpgs with a tire and wheel change , so how do you think about that problem?

I have a 2023 XL Hybrid in Area 51 currently in shipping. I see other RUclipsrs putting Wildpeaks on a a hybrid and losing 5 mpgs. That just doesn’t seem to make sense on a hybrid. You need at least an AWD and possibly a FX4 to justify that tire. Otherwise it is self defeating eye candy.

8:38 I think I might would see if I could cut these flairs along the front bumper vs. fender line before installing them in order to facilitate detaching the bumper as necessary. The other thing is, with them being black painted (over white plastic no less) vs. molded-in-color I'm not sure how long they are going to last (fading, scratches, etc.). Pretty low bar for almost $700...

Would you consider rather than +2 sizing the wheels, just putting bigger tires on the wheels that are already on the truck?

Wow that price for fenders is crazy. However they make the truck outline so much better. TY for the info.

The problem with these in our area is winter driving with the salt on the roads. The salt gets gets behind them and over time and have seen the fender under completely rusted out .

Well done! Really, very comprehensive how-to. I'm really wanting a set for my '23 Lariat, because, as you stated, it just looks soooo much better and should have been done by Ford. But, hey...price point, right? Thank you for this vid!

Sam, can't go with fender flares in the NE because of salt. I used your videos as a guide to install my tailgate strut and Chrome tailgate letters (looks great on Alto blue). I have an 2023 LARIAT EB AWD ordered on 9/16/22 that I picked up on 4/24/23. I have a question. My Lariat has 18" inch wheels as opposed to 17" in on XL/XLT. The All Terrain tire selection is really limited in 18". Can I run 17" in my Lariat Rims or will the bolt pattern be different? Any help from you or fans would be greatly appreciated. BTW, my overall ave MPG is 29.4 Because of that, I don't think the Hybrid is worth the wait.

Do you have a link to the plastic fender clips you bought online?

Are these just plastic? Do they have any practical benefit.

I do custom paint/install for a living, for the love of god people please DO NOT USE the glue they send you, its only purpose is to make things a pain in the ass if/when those flares ever come off. The double sided tape + clips will do just fine.

Bought a set & they look like horseshoe shape , not the fender contour shape , could they be heated & stretched out on the floor / bumper shape ,don’t look Rubbermaid to stretch out???

They didn't think this product through. If you want to do any maintenance that requires removing the front bumper you are screwed and have to ruin your front fender flares. They should have made them two pieces.

Get the Ford Maverick Mabett Fender Flairs, they cost $145.00 for the set. They are molded in black plastic and include the tool and new clips. Why would anybody pay Ford for white Fender flairs painted black that don't include new clips for a price of $600 is ridiculous!
