I just bought a 2025 brand new Tucson hybrid limited my sister bought a used 2024, we both noticed that when driving and need to press the brakes, to slow down a little, the engine would down shift engine would rav which is understandable, BUT when we want to get up to speed, it will stays in the down shift, so engine would rav loud, so we have to keep pressing the brakes or gas to get the engine to try to kick it back up to speed I understand going downhill but even that too the engine would not kick back up to speed to give you a smooth transition What should we do? Is there anything that you can think of? Thank you in advance

The new AWD hybrid with 4K towing has a HF55 transmission not the HF45. It’s a bit beefier.

The Hybrid drivetrain is a throw away powertrain system. After about 80,000 miles you will need to replace the so called clutch pack between the Engine and electric motor which needs removal of the entire engine at the cost of $6000.00! Also if you get the Ford extended warranty it is completely worthless. They will not cover the clutch pack because it is a wear item. Stay away from this truck!!

My car is a 2024 KIA SPORTAGE PHEV, Hyundai-KIA G4FT Smartstream 1.6 T-GDI engine The 1.6-liter Hybrid has been produced since 2020 and is installed in hybrid versions of such well-known models as Tucson, Sorento and Santa Fe. This power unit is widely used in Europe. What oil with the highest viscosity would you recommend, given the engine design, because I don’t want to pour 0W20 water. I know about hydrocracking, PAO and other oil characteristics. What do you know about this G4FT engine and what would you recommend paying attention to during exploitation? I fill my old BMW M57 2005 engine with fully synthetic 10W60 RACING oil, so the engine runs great for a long time and I have no problems with the engine.

Owners manual says Replace the oil pump drive belt and timing belt at 150,000 miles or every 15 years, whichever comes first. I would probably still do it at 80,000 ish. It sounds like the timing belt is a traditional dry belt, but the oil pump belt is wet BUT there's way too much conflicting information on these. Some articles say that the 2024 Trax and Envista models had a timing chain ... and 2025 models switch. AAAHHHHHHH. Maybe talk to the dealer technician while you're scouting for one of these if it's really a concern. I recommend just putting $50/month into a car repair and maintenance account with any new vehicle if you plan on keeping it.

Having the same engine Code dxdb my frist tfsi its basically the same ea211 evo 2 but im wondering ill have 24.000 kilometres on it and noticed a clicking could it be the direct injection causes it's getting master with more rpm it doesn't have a chain so i dont know going this week to the mechanic

01:55 FYI the 2024 big bend owners manual lists 6.6 qts with filter for the 1.5L engine (and 5.5 qts with filter for the 2.0L engine). 0w20 is listed as an alternative cold weather viscosity option.
