In every way that is so true. I’m fairly young and I was but a kid when I turned on the television and saw Dr Who on... what’s this I thought? Then I watched the single greatest episode I ever could for a first time viewer, The eleventh hour. Not the best overall but the best first watch by far. Amy was my companion, Smith was my doctor and I will always love what Smith and Gillan brought into my little young life through the Raggedy man, the girl who waited and fish fingers and custard. Stunning character arch, stunning amounts of emotion and just stunning in general, I know a lot don’t like her but Karen Gillan/Amy Pond will always be my favourite companion. Themes is pretty good too.
"Hello old friend, And here we are you and me on the last page. By the time you read these words Rory and I will be long gone so know that we lived well and were very happy. And above all else know that we will love you always. Sometimes I do worry about you though I think once we're gone you won't be coming back here for a while, And you might be alone, Which you should never be don't be alone Doctor. And do one more thing for me, There's a little girl waiting in a garden, She's going to wait a long while so she's going to need a lot of hope. Go to her tell her a story, Tell her that if she's patient the days are coming that she'll never forget. Tell her she'll go to sea and fight pirates, She'll fall in love with a man that will wait 2,000 years to keep her safe. Tell her she'll give hope to the greatest painter who ever lived, And save a whale in outer space. Tell her this is the story of Amelia Pond, And this is how ends."

"When I was a little girl I had an imaginary friend and when I grew up came back. He's called the doctor, he comes from somewhere else and had a box called the TARDIS that's bigger on the inside and can travel anywhere in time and space I ran away with him, and we've been running ever since....."
This song honestly makes me tear up. It represents Amelia Pond perfectly. Wonder, and fairytale, leading up to adventure, and then sadness with a hint of hope, back to to fairytale and hope, but not as innocent, like looking back on a childhood, and all throughout it, it just feels like home. Something to rely on, something consistent, always there for you. But then it fades away, leaving you feel, just empty, but content and happy like a warm meal in front of a fire after a snow storm. It might seem melodramatic, but it's honestly how what it makes me think of. Oh Pond, four years and I still feel hollow thinking about you Rory and River. The Ponds.
Many years later and I still miss them. Everytime I hear s5 - s6 themes I almost cry. Especially after river song theme, it sounds so hurt nostalgic each time I hear it
Amys theme is really sad. It brings back all the memories to me when she was a little girl. The girl who waited for her madman in a blue box I miss her sooo much. I miss ALL of the companions and Doctors so much . But everything comes to an end and the Doctor knows that.
I don't think any other sci/fi fantasy show has ever been as good as doctor who. It is really hard to make a good sci/fi show, and they pull it off season after season, it really is amazing.
***** The second half, yes, the first half, no. They really hit their stride with "Before the Flood." Yes, I realize that was the second part of the two episodes, but I loved the bootstrap paradox explanation. The two episodes with the Zygons were officially my favorite episodes to date, simply because of the metaphorical meaning of it all. I have been trying to put into words everything that was said in those episodes, and the doctors final speech in that was amazing. But enough of saying nice things, it was really boring before "Before the Flood."
TimThe TimeLord I think his explanation of the boot strap paradox was the most epic thing ever. I still don't know who wrote Beethoven's 5th, if you know what I mean.
Many people think she wasn't the best companion because she rarely saved the day but I think her character and who she was made her the best the way they showed her as a. Child and how she basically grew up knowing about the doctor and a lot of the episodes she was in were sad and made me cry
People dislike Amy for ridiculous reasons! Such as too sexy, giving birth to River, settling down....I couldn't care less who saves the day. The day doesn't care, it will be saved.
I think she was the best companion purely because of how well her relationship with the doctor was written. (And I say that as somone who has watched Doctor Who since good old Jon Pertwee:) )
I think she's one of the best companions, hands down. I personally like Moffat's writing, I loved the story lines of season 5 and 6, and I really really loved Amy. It's sad you don't see much appreciation for her around the fandom.
Something old.. Something new.. Something borrowed.. Something blue.. Those very words, they were very special words. They made her strong. No matter how childlike it was to dream about a mad man in a blue box. She was faithful until the very end. The Dream Master was foolish enough to question who she loved. The answer was Rory and The Doctor. Those were the people who brought meaning into her life. And they did. Amelia Jessica Pond-Williams. The Doctor Who fandom will never forget you.
Yes Amy is the best! I cried so hard when she left, and I have been quite sad lately as I "ponder" (get it?!? XD) over the new doctor who without Amy... I will always be an Amy fan and I really miss her. :( she also has the prettiest theme of all the companions in my opinion... Oh why Amy did u have to go!?!
ChristophCaleb Franssen The reason she had to leave is that she is one of the longest running companions, she needed another life as an actor, and the show needed someone new.
TheHeston83 I don't quite get what you have against Clara. Amy was bossy and attractiveness has nothing to do with whether she should be a companion or not.
This theme sums up Amy's feelings towards the Doctor. It starts with whimsical imagination and fantasy, then it grows into magic and adventure, but then there's a creeping sense of emptiness. And eventually she finds peace (in a normal life) and we end with the lingering notes that signify a return of some of her childlike wonder.
I love this song so much, and Amy will missed...I think it all reminds us of River's words: "When you run with the Doctor, it feels like it'll never end, but however hard you try you can't run forever. Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor, but I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it."
I know I'm probably not the only one who thinks this, but I feel that the male companions are not given as much attention as they were back in Classic Times. Rory did very well and I really like his character and development, but even at the very end with the Angels, he was still overshadowed by Amy's goodbye. I would have felt better if that epilogue had been written by both the Ponds.
I think P.S should've been the pre-opening title sequence instead of the unneccesary thing we got for a pre-credits/opening title sequence tbh. :s :/ ;) ;D :D
You mean the detective at the beginning of that episode, right? In that case, I totally agree. I kept thinking throughout the episode, "When is that guy gonna show up?" But he didn't. He didn't even get MENTIONED later on, which means you could have had the story start without that guy and nothing would have changed. All he did was give us some unneeded suspense and shock value about the Weeping Angels which would have been better used if it had been discovered by the TARDIS gang later, and true, that did happen, but I feel like the gang finding out about the Angels first, and especially having their discovery be the first time the audience discovers it as well, would have worked a lot better for the story overall. I don't care if that "prologue" was part of River's pulp novel; if it doesn't matter to the EPISODE itself, then it doesn't matter at all. It's bad writing cos the guy was a loose end which never got taken care of. It's a matter of "killing your darlings" which Moffat understands by now (*heavy sarcasm* of-course-he-doesn't-just-look-at-Hell-Bent).
I keep thinking back to Angels Take Manhattan, when River said to never let him see the damage... Makes me wonder if anything in Amy's afterword was true.
Amy did live well wih rory though and loved him everything she said in that afterwards was true she even said she missed him and it hasnt been the same in the afterward
i've been listening to this since i was ten years old. every time i hear this it makes me believe that there really is a raggedy old man in a blue box running around
I'm writing a fan fiction about Amy and Rory after they get touched by weeping angels. Martha and The Doctor land in New York in the 30s for the Evolution of the Daleks. Amy and Rory get there in 1938. I was going to have a part where Amy sees the 10th doctor and has a conversation with Martha, anfmd hears the Tardis leave. Do you guys like this idea? Please reply.
"Something old, something new, something borrowd, something blue" I'm waiting I've been waiting a long time. For something impossible to happen. It's out there in the stars a impossible blue box thats old and new. Which was barrowed a long time ago. A box which is bigger on the inside. With a man a impossible man with big blue eyes sad eyes you can see it in them he's been that way for long time even when he smiles. But he always helps those in need not wanting anything in return. I'm waiting for him to come and take me away in his impossible blue box. So I can can travel the stars with him. Like I did once upon a dream. One day he'll come back for me so I have to wait until that day comes. People says he's not real but I know he's out there. ... he'll come back I have faith he will.
This music genuinely makes me so so so so determined to be a screenwriter. I used to want to make stories that would make people feel as strongly as these stories and music do. Now it's not just that I want to - I genuinely don't think I'd be satisfied doing anything else.
... She didnt die. She got sent back in time by weeping angels in " The Angels take manhattan" ... But well if the doctor could just use the tardis to travel to her he could see her.
MultiSonic4ever She traveled back in time but would have died by the time that the graveyard scene was happening.. hence why her name appeared on the gravestone. He couldn't see her because it would create a paradox.. which is why in the episode he says going back to the time that Rory was sent to "would rip New York apart" so he couldn't see her again. That's why at the end in the 'Foreword by Amelia Williams' she says "By the time you're reading this, me and Rory will be long gone." :( I miss Amy and Rory so much!
Ive had the privilege to listen to , love, be moved by, be grateful for and irrevocably changed by this song. When i hear this song , my entire soul aches for the days and the nights of the past. I so wish i could tell myself then what i understand now. Amy said it best when she said she was giving herself the days to come. I cant ever describe what this song evokes from me, and i am so happy to read so many comments expressing similar feelings.
I've watched this show since I was a little kid in the early 1970's and the best Doctor/Companions combos OF ALL TIME (in caps so it's official lmao) are: 1. Tom Baker and Elizabeth Sladen 2. Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper 3. Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
steve crafter I did agonize about leaving that pairing out but I wanted to make a top 3. Am interested to know who the new companion is going to be now we know Jenna Louise Coleman is leaving after this new series.
+Jonathan Peden I'm a bit older here. But holy hell i miss Eccleston and Piper. That being said, I really liked Martha Jones too. Too bad her chemistry with the Doctor was never all that.
TakesTwoToTango I absolutely agree with you. Freema Agyman is a terrific actress but they could have done so much more with her character. But yeah, the original reboot series was perfect, Kudos to Russell T. Davis and his team, they did a wonderful job in bringing The Doctor back to life.
1 2 3 4: I Declare A Time-War 5 6 7 8: Daleks Scream EXTERMINATE 9 10 11 12: The Doctor Died & Silence Fell 12 11 10 9: Here He Goes, Back In Time 8 7 6 5: Saving Everybody's Lives 4 3 2 1: Grab Her Hand & Whisper RUN
12 years. 7 regenerations (1,8,war,9,10,11,12), countless companions, and as many Doctors. Murray and Moffat had a hand in or have been privy to a decade’s worth of who. What lucky men they are
Any really should have had a good farewell. Not the stupid thing that happened. She's probably my favorite companion and I think The ending of God Complex would have been a perfect goodbye. Then a cameo in The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe, main companions in Asylum of the Daleks for obvious reasons, then they safely return home and Clara takes over. Have them make a reappearance in The Power of Three where they could meet Clara and that would be perfect....
Why did you not like Amy's end ? I think it was really beautiful even if it was so sad. The angels take Manhattan was probably the most emotional episode of the show.
Now I agree with Chrissy but I dont really see how Amy was the best companion if you see all of the series even the classic youll see Amy was one of the weaker ones
BlackoutsWorkbench It depends what you call a good companion. She was definitely one of the most sexy ones. But she rarely saved the day . Most of the time she had to be saved. Rose, Martha, Donna had all a lot of big moments where things depended on them and they saved the day. I can't remember something like that with Amy
BlackoutsWorkbench May be this was necessary. We had three companions in a row that where very very strong, may be to strong to be people to easily identify ourselves with. Amy is just a normal girl that the doctor takes for a ride. I think most of us know we would probably not be like rose , absorbing the time vortex and Breaking through the walls of the universe, we would probably be more like Amy.
I remember when i heard this theme and i cried because it was after the doctor generated into the 12th doctor and amy was sent into a random point of time
Every time companions exit i cry a few rivers and ponds, and then when the new companions enter the stage i feel as if they are attempting to replace my emotions Then my dad right next to me goes "Why do they keep getting hotter?"
Anyone else notice that the TARDIS in the background is not correct? It does not have the ambulance sign. Although, this is the TARDIS Amy first saw as a kid, but then the timeline is wrong...
Tbh they should've kept that TARDIS exterior for amy in the episodes since they advertised the hell out of it when matt and karren had their Daturday adventures also the color grading is wrong on this TARDIS
Ugh this is so heartbreaking. I remember when this played in Angels Take Manhattan and that was partially what sent me into tears. Very beautiful and illustrates Amy grown up with hints of herself as a young girl waiting for the Doctor.
Second best theme. Second best companion. That’s my opinion anyway. Wonderful character, I loved the fact she called The Doctor (Matt Smith) “Raggedy man”! 😊
Definitely the best companions (and I say companion'S' because Amy AND Rory are a package deal. Can't have one without the other.) Just a shame they didn't get a better send-off. At least they got to live out the rest of their lives together, and from what she wrote in the Afterward, it was a good one!
even though Clara's theme is my favorite, this one will always have a special place in my heart for some reason. it's such a sad theme. when I first started the Pond era, I was going through a really tough time and this music really connected with me. maybe that's why
Omg! Whenever I hear her theme I just cry cuz I keep on remembering episode of doctor who "The Girl Who Waited" one of the saddest and my favorite episodes of DW.
So I have a playlist for music I like to listen to while I write on here, and right before this played, River's theme was on and now I'm having emotional backlash from listening to both of their songs because there are too many feels and the eleventh doctor and the Ponds could have all been a happy family and OH MY GOODNESS I WILL NEVER GET OVER THEM
Amy has been my favorite companion especially since she's with the 11th Doctor (he's my comfort character) but I can never talk about her comfortably because I'm a trans guy and her name is my deadname. So I always just say "I really liked the Pond era" but I actually just wish I could have my "girl (or boy, I guess) who waited" story too.
And above all else know that we will love you, always. Sometimes I do worry about you though, I think once we're gone you won't be coming back here for a while, and you might be alone, which you should never be. Don't be alone Doctor. And do one more thing for me. There's a little girl waiting in a garden, she's going to wait for a long while so she's going to need a lot of hope. Go to her. Tell her a story. Tell her that if she's patient the days are coming that she'll never forget. Tell her that she will go to sea and fight pirates. She'll fall in love with a man that will wait two thousand years to keep her safe. Tell her she'll give hope to the greatest painter that ever lived. And save a whale in outer space. Tell her this is the story of Amelia Pond and this is how it ends.
This song always makes me teary. It does have a sense of childhood innocence and happiness, but when the song is played in the show it make me really sad because I remember how much Amy's gone through and all the hurt she's endured. And then when it played at the end of "The Angels Take Manhattan", I couldn't control myself. I just balled my eyes out because this music makes me an emotional wreck.
Amy's theme makes me think of how she's really still that little girl inside... The girl who waited and ran away with her imaginary friend. The owls hooting from that night that just make her sound so lonely... The music-box-like music in the background shows her innocence, and there is a lingering darkness and mystery in the piece too, of course. I mean, it is Amy. Look at her past with that crack eating her life! But yet there is still a kind of hope in the music, which is oh-so-beautiful.
Best companion! Bad thing she left she is my second favorite.. 1. River song 2.amelia pond 3.rory williams 4.rose tyler 5.sarah jane smith 6.donna noble 7.wilfred mott 8.Ian chesterton 9.martha jones 10.ace mcshane 11.Captain jack
Comanions are people listed under who has travelled in the TARDIS for a consecutive number or recurring number of episodes Wilfredd has never so he is a Recurring companion like Craig who will help him when hes on Earth from time to time but never actually wanna go see the stars.
Warre Ketels Amy went with the 13th Doctor, who's TARDIS is Dark Blue, and has the Saint John's Ambulance sticker on it. That TARDIS is a lighter blue, and no Saint John's sticker. It is (most likely) the 10th/11th Doctor's TARDIS.
Amelias raggedy man that will one day fall from the sky and take her to fight pirates and give hope to the greatest artist that ever lived and falll in love with a man that will wait 2000 years for her, So be patient because the days are comming that you will never forget heh, Amelia Pond the girl that waited Goodnight Raggedy man!
She was my first companion and the one identified with greatly. I made a video on my channel in comparison to being the girl who waited. Waiting for the impossible that one day did come. Her story has such a strong place in my heart
Noel Luna Yep that little girl Amelia waited and waited long enough and in return she got to go to other worlds! and travel back in time and meet THE Vincent Van Goh The Doctor and Amy Pond travelling the universe but once you say hello its so hard to say goodbye :( as we all saw in the angels take manhatten
Sometimes I cry and then I think about the doctor and all he has lost and I think to myself, what would the doctor think of me right now? And then it hits me: wait he will come. Wait......
The story of the Ponds, and especially Amy, is so incredibly bittersweet. I think I will always be feel a little bit of a sense of betrayal from the way they went. I know that the companions have to come and go, but I will always feel partial to them because this story arc was when I got into Doctor Who. Just as 11 had become the doctor. I looked forward to watching all the new episodes of 11's adventures with the Ponds because they were always so sweet. You could really feel the love he had for them, especially in A Good Man Goes to War and Angels in Manhattan. RIP Ponds.
Amy has the most beautiful soundtrack of all the companions. It's so dreamy, so innocent, perfect for the little girl who waited
Nah Clara’s theme is better, even if Clara wasn’t
Roses

The Doctor just go listen last word of amy pond
Listen to Naruto - Despair or saika
I agree with your statement lol
Except Donna's. That one is much more "dancy"
"When I was a little girl I had an imaginary friend and when I grew up came back. He's called the doctor, he comes from somewhere else and had a box called the TARDIS that's bigger on the inside and can travel anywhere in time and space I ran away with him, and we've been running ever since....."

I love this comment & over 100% agree. Tearing up right now for the song. I miss them every day ❤
Amys theme is really sad. It brings back all the memories to me when she was a little girl. The girl who waited for her madman in a blue box I miss her sooo much. I miss ALL of the companions and Doctors so much . But everything comes to an end and the Doctor knows that.
the music is such a huge part of why i love the show, this track in particular. whenever i heaar it i think of little amelia waiting.
Thats why i have a hard time watching the episodes of the old show. they lack the music.
Dammit, are you trying to make me cry? :/
That memory hurts so much because we all are still waiting...
I know. The music just expresses so much wonder, the wonder Amelia had while staring into the stars, and her hope for her Raggedy Man to return...
Darth Raider I think this theme hurts all of us a little more than the rest because we're all still waiting
Heaven Sent is the best episode of any television series ever, and then there's Hell Bent :/
TimThe TimeLord I think his explanation of the boot strap paradox was the most epic thing ever. I still don't know who wrote Beethoven's 5th, if you know what I mean.
yeah
3 Episodes are not an half !
They used this in "The Time of the Doctor" after the little boy guarding his TARDIS said "I can wait".
They used around 3:30 to 4:26 during the 'Raggedy Man, Goodnight' scene too.
I cried during that...
Nelski11401 Mhm .. I would have been fine if I didn't recognize the music :'(
I think they used it in time of the doctor when they were in the church as well
That little boy reminded me so much of little Amelia! And the cyberman head reminded me a lot of K9 ;)
It didn't matter if she rarely saved the day. She saved The Doctor and that's what matters.
I think she's one of the best companions, hands down. I personally like Moffat's writing, I loved the story lines of season 5 and 6, and I really really loved Amy. It's sad you don't see much appreciation for her around the fandom.
Amy definitely had the best backstory though
Something old..
Something new..
Something borrowed..
Something blue..
Those very words, they were very special words. They made her strong. No matter how childlike it was to dream about a mad man in a blue box. She was faithful until the very end. The Dream Master was foolish enough to question who she loved. The answer was Rory and The Doctor. Those were the people who brought meaning into her life. And they did.
Amelia Jessica Pond-Williams.
The Doctor Who fandom will never forget you.
My favorite companion and favorite theme. It makes me want to gaze up at the stars in search of my raggedy man in a blue box😍💙💫
same here ☺
+Dani Aziz so right😿
YES!!!!!! That's EXACTLY it! It feels like starlight moving across my heart *sigh*
Best companion ever
wtf? has anyone said "rose tyler"?
Yes Amy is the best! I cried so hard when she left, and I have been quite sad
lately as I "ponder" (get it?!? XD) over the new doctor who without Amy... I will always be an Amy fan and I really miss her. :( she also has the prettiest theme of all the companions in my opinion... Oh why Amy did u have to go!?!
ChristophCaleb Franssen The reason she had to leave is that she is one of the longest running companions, she needed another life as an actor, and the show needed someone new.
Clara Doesnt Cut it shes Bossy & looks like a mouse shes on the Thea Queen Level
Goodbye Amelia Pond, the girl who waited...
Chinball made P.S. and there is Rory and his dad, so Rory had better ending than Angels Take Manhattan
Oh yeah... I forgot all about that one.
It's a matter of "killing your darlings" which Moffat understands by now (*heavy sarcasm* of-course-he-doesn't-just-look-at-Hell-Bent).
same
I keep thinking back to Angels Take Manhattan, when River said to never let him see the damage... Makes me wonder if anything in Amy's afterword was true.
UGH AND I WAS SO FINE TODAY
Amy did live well wih rory though and loved him everything she said in that afterwards was true she even said she missed him and it hasnt been the same in the afterward
i've been listening to this since i was ten years old. every time i hear this it makes me believe that there really is a raggedy old man in a blue box running around
believe:)
"Amelia Pond crying tears for me. Guess what?"
"What?"
"Gotchya"
One of the greatest moments of Dr Who ever...apart from Rose Tyler as God of course!
Rose can suck it, The Doctor Donna was God
I don't know who I love more, Murray Gold or John Williams.
exactly my thoughts..
Aakash Jagad Well said.
I love John Williams, but Murray gold and the Eleventh hour started my childhood and gave me everything I am now.
Amy will forever be my favorite companion.
Thanks!!
Do it please!
Are you still writing it?
do it
is it yours ? www.fanfiction.net/s/9743386/1/The-Ponds-in-Manhattan
This song makes me want to sit at my window and hope that one day a raggady maddman with a blue box will crash his box into my shed
I know it's dumb to think that Doctor Who is real but I don't care, I'm still going to wait for the day when he shows up.
he will......................just believe :)
life isn't a fairy tale mate
Sweg yo Sweg we are all stories at the end😉
Sam The Cartoon every story ever told really happened :)
Same. I'll wait for him forever. Perhaps even after I'm dead. With the Doctor, you never know, do you?
"Raggedy man...😐😑😐 GOODBYE!!!" 😭😭😭😭😭
EmmaR5er NOOOOOoO😭😭
"Something old, something new, something borrowd, something blue"
I'm waiting
I've been waiting a long time.
I'm here with you, believing the same.
Why am I sat here crying to this?
This music genuinely makes me so so so so determined to be a screenwriter. I used to want to make stories that would make people feel as strongly as these stories and music do. Now it's not just that I want to - I genuinely don't think I'd be satisfied doing anything else.
How's it going, Steven?
You doing good?
How are you doing now?
Feels aside. This music is gorgeous. I love it. It gives me chills and it's very mystical. Love, love, love this theme.
Oh Amy Amy Amy the most best companion as well as Clara Oswald cried all day when Amy died 😢
... She didnt die. She got sent back in time by weeping angels in " The Angels take manhattan" ... But well if the doctor could just use the tardis to travel to her he could see her.
Still it sad
Ik mate >:
MultiSonic4ever She traveled back in time but would have died by the time that the graveyard scene was happening.. hence why her name appeared on the gravestone. He couldn't see her because it would create a paradox.. which is why in the episode he says going back to the time that Rory was sent to "would rip New York apart" so he couldn't see her again. That's why at the end in the 'Foreword by Amelia Williams' she says "By the time you're reading this, me and Rory will be long gone." :(
I miss Amy and Rory so much!
The girl who waited.
I really need to re-watch this show again.
Words cannot express how much this hurts. "The Ponds defined an era" said by Matt Smith himself. I'll never get over their loss.
most beautiful soundtrack in the whole show
"Amelia!"
"Who's Amelia?"
"The first face this face saw."
Amy Pond: she wasn't the girl on fire, or the boy who lived. She was something so much more important. She was the Girl Who Waited.
"This is the story of Amelia Pond and this is how it ends." THE FEELS!
"Raggedy Man, Goodnight."
They should do a spin-off series about Amy's childhood
I've watched this show since I was a little kid in the early 1970's and the best Doctor/Companions combos OF ALL TIME (in caps so it's official lmao) are:
1. Tom Baker and Elizabeth Sladen
2. Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper
3. Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
+Jonathan Peden i agree, but i would have to put david tennant and donna in there somewhere
steve crafter I did agonize about leaving that pairing out but I wanted to make a top 3.
+Jonathan Peden whos youre favourite dr?
This is an extended version because I personally think that 3 minutes is kinda short. So enjoy!
Will do
This puts me back to when I was 3 and I was watching the eleventh hour for the first time - the good old days I wish I could revisit
I now have an intense hatred of Angels. And of Moffat.
I have an intense hate of Trenzalore
***** Trenzalore is the best place in the universe, it got rid of 11!
I don't see how that's good *bursts into massive tears*
Does DIAF stand for Die in a fire like the crap 11th Doctor?
She is just like a fairy tale story, except it is a happy start and tragic ending
just like her last farewell
1 2 3 4: I Declare A Time-War
5 6 7 8: Daleks Scream EXTERMINATE
9 10 11 12: The Doctor Died & Silence Fell
12 11 10 9: Here He Goes, Back In Time
8 7 6 5: Saving Everybody's Lives
4 3 2 1: Grab Her Hand & Whisper RUN
Ok, stop, no more
+Aj's Gameplay thats so cool...how did you think of that ryhme
+susie morris That's been around for ages its not original
+Grell Sutcliff THIS IS WONDERFUL THANK YE!!!
The ultimate copy and paste
Chrissy Hammerer
well thats kind of what I meant she just looks good thats all shes not really an important companion to saving the world
BlackoutsWorkbench May be this was necessary.
I remember when i heard this theme and i cried because it was after the doctor generated into the 12th doctor and amy was sent into a random point of time
Every time companions exit i cry a few rivers and ponds, and then when the new companions enter the stage i feel as if they are attempting to replace my emotions
Then my dad right next to me goes "Why do they keep getting hotter?"
I miss them 🥺❤️
Anyone else notice that the TARDIS in the background is not correct? It does not have the ambulance sign. Although, this is the TARDIS Amy first saw as a kid, but then the timeline is wrong...
yes
Tbh they should've kept that TARDIS exterior for amy in the episodes since they advertised the hell out of it when matt and karren had their Daturday adventures also the color grading is wrong on this TARDIS
Its a promotional photo they took before the series started.
this is the saddest theme, even sadder than Rose's one
Definitely the best companions (and I say companion'S' because Amy AND Rory are a package deal. Can't have one without the other.) Just a shame they didn't get a better send-off. At least they got to live out the rest of their lives together, and from what she wrote in the Afterward, it was a good one!
Even though the doctor always shouts out for amy he loves rory so much amy and rory are like the doctors foster parents
even though Clara's theme is my favorite, this one will always have a special place in my heart for some reason. it's such a sad theme. when I first started the Pond era, I was going through a really tough time and this music really connected with me. maybe that's why
The magic of this show left when she did ☹️
Omg! Whenever I hear her theme I just cry cuz I keep on remembering episode of doctor who "The Girl Who Waited" one of the saddest and my favorite episodes of DW.
With this song we meet her and with this song we saw her the last time. So many feelings, so ironic...
So I have a playlist for music I like to listen to while I write on here, and right before this played, River's theme was on and now I'm having emotional backlash from listening to both of their songs because there are too many feels and the eleventh doctor and the Ponds could have all been a happy family and OH MY GOODNESS I WILL NEVER GET OVER THEM
This song alone always gives me goosebumps and I just want to quietly cry out of it's sheer beauty all the time.
I cried when little amy packed her stuff and waited outside and this song played. With her little teddy bear and hat uuuuughh!!
Trying to do anything while listening to this is impossible- makes you too sad and thoughtful.
This hurts every time I hear it I miss matt smith
this makes me think hes out there somewhere doing his thing killing daleks.I know he is you just have to find your raggedy man.
"Amelia Pond. The girl who waited. You've waited long enough."
"Come along, Pond...Please!" "Raggedy Man...Goodbye."
Amy and Rose, my two favourite Companions and they both have amazing themes! But most of the music from Doctor Who is absolutely brilliant!
My favourite part was from 1:24 to 1:38 which also came up again at 4:12 to 4:26
I think that part should have been a bit longer. Does anyone agree?
Totally
I never realized how amazing and chillingly beautiful this theme is 💜
Hello old friend and here we are you and me on the last page
Ciaran Rafferty by the time you are reading this Rory and I will be long gone...
@@ann6303 but know that we where were very happy
I just balled my eyes out because this music makes me an emotional wreck.
crying allot i find it very sad song
***** you have no soul you did not cry
***** Du græd ikke for Amy Pond da hun døde?!?! Oh my gosh, du har ingen soul! Shame on you!
***** u got no soul o heart she DIED!!
She's still my favourite companion to this day.
(sorry inner nerd kicking in) wrong tardis. 11's has the St. John Ambulance circle thing on it and his windows are different ;)
Amy is definitely my favorite companion, she is amazing, beautiful, funny, crazy and her history is fantastic! Her theme is lovely!
Amy is a pretty actor.
1. River song
2.amelia pond
3.rory williams
4.rose tyler
5.sarah jane smith
6.donna noble
7.wilfred mott
8.Ian chesterton
9.martha jones
10.ace mcshane
11.Captain jack
I agree with you. River is my favorite
Kassandra Cauldwell I really like her!
She is my girl crush
+Jodie Samson i would go probably...
1. donna
2. 7th season clara
3. rose
4. amy
5. rory
Comanions are people listed under who has travelled in the TARDIS for a consecutive number or recurring number of episodes Wilfredd has never so he is a Recurring companion like Craig who will help him when hes on Earth from time to time but never actually wanna go see the stars.
I had tears streaming down my face when this was performed live. So beautiful and powerful :')
DONT CRY DONT CRY DONT CRY
I keep crying when I here this song I feel sadness and the ending of her life its so sad and she loves rory so much she died with him 😥😥😥
Anyone else notice it's the wrong TARDIS in the background?
Warre Ketels Amy went with the 13th Doctor, who's TARDIS is Dark Blue, and has the Saint John's Ambulance sticker on it. That TARDIS is a lighter blue, and no Saint John's sticker. It is (most likely) the 10th/11th Doctor's TARDIS.
+Wolf Rider Amy went with 11th
Amelia Graham 13th, 11th, same thing
+Wolf Rider absolutely not
Amelia Graham If you look at it techincally, Matt Smith played the 13th Doctor, which is also the 11th Doctor. It depends on the way you look at it
Amy's so tough, yet I feel like this captures the vulnerability in her. Brilliant piece of music.
How sad, innit?, or is it just me?...
what i love about doctor who themes is that there are no words to the song. it's powerful enough to just sing to
Unknown it's not real but I'm still waiting for my raggedy man to come and whisk me away and show me the the stars 😞
he will.................just believe :)
Really love the owl hooting in the background. It feels like I'm outside in the night waiting for the Doctor myself....
We NEED to meet amy and rory again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😭😭 Amy is gone I'll never here this again I'm jelly when I'm a companion I want this song
Noel Luna
Yep that little girl Amelia waited and waited long enough and in return she got to go to other worlds! and travel back in time and meet THE Vincent Van Goh The Doctor and Amy Pond travelling the universe but once you say hello its so hard to say goodbye :( as we all saw in the angels take manhatten
this is making me cry, I'm listening while leaving my reruns of s5 on pause and reading the comments and crying
RIP Ponds.
