    Today day 17. Morning Sugar came down to 106 which never came down below 150. Thank you so much for inspiration. I have given up completely on all sugar items. Decided not to touch what is poison for kidneys.

      @@dipanjali123 No. You can have apple etc. but not grapes banana etc that contain lot of sugar. Pls take advice of your doctor about which fruits don't contain sugar.

    For those wondering what a 'reasonable' daily sugar intake is:
    According to the UK's NHS, 30g/day of ADDED sugar is reasonable.
    Total 90g, 60g natural sugar from fruit etc. + 30g added to tea, coffee, desserts etc.
    Hope this helps.

    Today my day 15 (7feb 2024)✅ started on 23 jan 2024... challenge completed but I have taken 21 day challenge ..will complete it also 💪🏻I even don't crave for tea cofee ..also become energetic....no bloating....makes my skin so soft

      @@himanshutiwari5027it’s tough in the beginning but once you manage to quit it for at least one week then you will no longer want it. You can replace it with lemon water for the first week

    Many people have gone completely no sugar, completely cut it out and moved to organic foods only and have made it a permanent lifestyle change and are doing amazing. That's what I'm working toward. But I'm doing the healthy keto with intermittent fasting which is no sugar or very little sugar and low carbs. It's not just a diet for a time, it's a life change and without the sugar and carbs, and eating grass fed eggs/meat and organic vegetables and avocado, I'm amazed how much better I feel. I've pretty much given up processed food. But the eggs and meat have to be grass fed and vegetables have to be organic to not have all those chemicals added.

    Today day 4. Challenge on. First two nights didn't have micturition but last night again had. Since last seven years I am diabetic and was having nocturnal micturition every night. Let's hope body starts to adjust to new detox diet soon.

    I have not had sugar, fried food, fast food, restaurant food, or dairy since Aug 1 2023. I have lost 20 lbs.
    I personally don't have a moderation key when it comes to sugar. I am a sugar addict so I can't have it at all.
    I have been eating only vegetables, fruit, nuts, organic peanut butter, lean poultry, fish, pork loin and flourless bread. I pray I can keep this up for the rest of my life. I do not want to be diabetic or have a heart attack.
    It truly is a change in eating habits, not a diet. I have 12-1500 calories a day. 3:14

      You need natural fats in your diet. Beef, beef liver (can take capsules) are entail in your diet and will actually speed up weight loss.

    I'm on my third day of a 21 day sugar fast... honestly, I'm not craving sugar or junk food... I eat moderate amounts of papaya though...hope this doesn’t hinder the fast as papaya is known to have a high sugar content.... will update at the end of the three weeks!

      Papaya contains 8.3 grams of sugar per 100 grams. So it depends on how much you eat.
      Personally, I don't eat any fruit except Avocadoes and I'm doing fine with very quick weight loss, 8 kg in 2 weeks. 6kg more of lockdown weight to lose and I'm done.
      Took a break last long weekend but yday I got back on track.

    I am here feeling like I have not eaten for whole day, I really really really wanna drink sweet tea.
    When ever I felt like to eat something sweet, I drink water at that time.

    it has been 1 month that i excluded the sugar ... and benifits are .... i was facing weight gain .. it reduces at very high speed 5kg in one month by avoiding any form of sugar except fruits and dinner before 8 pmand portion cut out .. no exercise + regural periods +feeling more energetic + happy as well

    Can we avoid sugar completely? Will it have any side effects? I find it easier to avoid completely than consume in moderation. Today I am in day 88 of sugar fast. I don't eat anything with sugar in it e.g sweets, biscuits, namkeen, processed drinks etc. I eat only fruits and dry fruits as sweet items.

      I think its good to avoid Table Sugar..
      In My diet ,I Always Try to get 70-80% of daily Value of sugars from Fruits & Vegetables & rices ..
      If I'm not getting 70-80% then I consumes Honey or jaggery or mishri...
      I'm not recommending my method to you..
      But I avoids Table Sugar & all other added sugars Drinks...

    Hello, thanks for the informative video. I have stopped eating sugar since 9 years now. I enjoy an occasional ice-cream or jaggery based sweet once a year during summer. I fulfil my cravings for sweets from fresh fruits and Stevia which is a natural plant-based sugar.

      Being skinny or fat is not necessarily an indicator of health. You can be skinny but have chronic inflammation, cancer, clogged arteries and all other diseases. Blood tests can only give some indication of health but not the extent of damage to any organ. For instance kidneys and liver could be in bad shape but indicate satisfactory functioning on a blood test. It's only when they are severely damaged that you find yourself in a serious situation.

I can't eat anything other than what I make myself (not even ryvita) cheese, oats, eggs, nuts and fruit have been staples as well as stew and soup for main meals, but the hardest part isn't giving up the refined sugar it's finding things to eat that don't contain it..Which is a bit of a wake up call to how much is in our diet even when we think we aren't consuming much..

      @@Phani7 I think we may not be able to completely avoid sugar but processed form of sugar we can surely avoid. The junk foods and all for sure. Instead, we can switch to naturally occurring sugars that are good for the body. Cheers✌

    Can you please elaborate how to do sugar fasting? I mean, along with not taking sugar with tea milk or coffee or any other kinds sweets, should we even skip having plain milk, chikoo, banana, mango ( as they have some form of sugar i.e. lactose and fructose)?
