i would suggest Pattaya, its not what many think full of bars, if you don't want bars, you would not see it, less than perhaps 5% of core areas and 20% of Pattaya has bars, rest is all normal, its less stressful than Bangkok, easy access to everything, cheaper and safe, surrounding areas of pattaya has lots to explore like Viharn Sien temple etc. Price to Performance and Quality ratio, there is no country on earth than could come close to Thailand, food alone would beat 99% of rest of the world
True- The Dark Side, and South Pattaya aren't like that. Neither is nearby Jomtien, where I live. But I'm still moving to Hua Hin when my lease expires. Beach is quieter, traffic is less.
Very insightful what you say about enjoying the challenge of the chase. I had a friend once who was rebuilding a wooden sailboat almost entirely. He said the same, that he was concerned that after he was done, he would not enjoy just sailing the boat. Good to spend a portion of the day just sailing.
Check out Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand hits different. The south is cool but its where ALL the clowns converge. Thanks for the videos, always straight forward thoughts & info.
Q pasa manito....nice move and I can totally understand what you mean. Bkk is nice but not for longterms in my opinion. Check out the north, there you have similar air and mountains like in medellin and not that much touristst if you dont stay inside the big main cities like chiang mai etc. Or if you want peace and beaches, check out all the way down from bkk to cambodia. Everthyhing after pattaya you wont see much tourists and many beautiful places. Aswell boxing clubs are around. Wish you all the best mate, thx for beeing this real 🙏
Would you let somebody come pick your brain? I'm looking to head over the Thailand for a long period of time now that my business is capable of supporting me while being legal in Thailand. I haven't been in MMA practice for a while and that alone makes me want to be more involved with it again.
So refreshing to see just some straight up real talk on here not influencer weirdos
Thank you brother 🙏
As a Thai, who live in America, for over 40+ years; when I retire I plan to retire in Thailand. The weather, the food, the people, etc., can’t wait.
I am from Vancouver and BKK blows my mind !
