I'm disappointed that there's no optical input on these. Doesn't fiber input offer the best sound quality from a desktop PC. Genuinely curious. I have the Edifier S350DB and absolutely love them with the sub woofer and optical in.
USB and optical tend to be of a very similar quality, but both have certain benefits. From my understanding, although the effect is minimal, USB tends to offer a more ‘true’ sound, but could suffer from electrical interference, whereas optical might differ slightly from source but doesn’t suffer the same interference. I think most people seem to agree that the difference however is negligible between optical and USB audio
Love the speakers do you think they are loud enough to put on stands in a 14x12 room great video just love the lights🤘they would look great in my bedroom
@@StusReviewsUK because it will obviously be distractive. But as I said every taste is in nature. Its just not in mine, which is sad, because Edifier make good speakers. I even cut the led effects from my Sony's speakers I use in my garage because its too distractive.
Fortunately with these you can turn off the light effects if thats your personal taste 👀. Although as you say, edifier make some great alternatives if you wanted something slightly more inconspicuous. R128DBs are still a classic IMO
Wow if i didn't love my mackie speakers, i might consider these. Agreed that whoever came up with the looks needs a pay raise!
I nearly bought some mackie speakers a few years ago!
@@StusReviewsUK I have several pairs of Mackie speakers and they're amazing value. Great sound for their price.
@@StusReviewsUK It'd be better if it had HDMI-Audio input for TV.
I can’t wait to get these speakers. So excited.
Stu’s Reviews, Your videos always make me happy, so I subscribed!

@@StusReviewsUKthanks for the insight Stu, worth knowing 👍
Optical is not the best way to interconect, and plus there is now newer bt aptx antenas thst you can plug a optic source without losing quality on bt

Yes I’d say so! Although they aren’t the biggest… depends on how badly you want to annoy the neighbours I guess 😂
Thank you Stu. Those look fantastic.
