    I like Mizon Snail Blemish BB cream SPF 50+ PA+++. Only $14/1.7 oz. 40% snail and niacinamide. Natural slightly dewy finish, good coverage, not heavy or greasy. Zinc, titanium, and iron oxides. Fragrance free. Has never irritated my sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin. Such a good find for me I had to share.

    Thank you! I’m soon going to switch over to using MD solar science tinted BB cream spf 50 once my hyperpigmentation evens out. It is a sunscreen that has so many beneficial actives and antioxidants. For now I use supergoop cc cream spf 50 because it provide at least medium coverage and layered it is full coverage so I don’t need additional foundation. Both are mineral filters only. It’s harder to find what works for oily acne prone skin especially in humid climate

    *Naked Sunday SPF50+ Clear Glow Radiant Sun Serum
    *IT Cosmetics 50+ CC Cream/foundation
    *Naked Sunday SPF50+ Hydrating Glow Mist to refresh my sunscreen later in the day (the fact that it’s a spray is awesome! And it’s Australian 🇦🇺)

    Elf has an spf 30 cc cream. It has pretty decent coverage and has niacinamide as well as collagen and peptides in the formula. I am not a fan of dewy finished (I have oily skin) but I found that this paired with the elf HD finishing powder held up pretty good to mattify it a bit. I mean not bad for like $15 lol
    Underneath my makeup I still use a regular sunscreen just for reassurance lolol.

    • @carlifry
      @carlifry 2 года назад

      For days I don’t want so much stuff on my face I’ll wear regular sunscreen and then the physicians formula spf 30 mineral powder. This stuff is great and leaves a beautiful finish. Only downside is I don’t like how it creases sometimes under my eyes. I have to use a specific brush with it so it doesn’t look weird there.

Plus, you have amazing so I definitely need to know how to get mine to look great. My question, it is probably so dumb but when you say buildable what does that mean? Would I use for example the Tula tint and then add something over that like a setting powder or more makeup? Thank you in advance!

    Random question, but could I simply add a bit of foundation to my spf to make a diy tinted spf? I can't find any tinted sunscreen for my skin tone, but I don't know if adding color to my sunscreen could change its properties if that makes sense. Thanks.

    Your skin looks so lovely! Is bukuchiol a strong enough alternative to retinols for mature, thin, dry skin ? No matter the line ( from the finest to least expensive), I always have had issues with retinols/retinaldehydes. Dehydrates my skin and I look worse, even with super heavy moisturizers. I'm close to 60 now, no filler or Botox. Makeup is starting to settle into lines I never had until about 6-8 months ago. I live in a dry climate and it will only get worse with winter. Currently using Bioelements skincare to repair barrier but their heaviest moisturizer still leaves me feeling tight & parched 4-5 hours later. It's also a bit too $$$. Love your info and appreciate learning about Tula! High pigment, low texture is important for mature skin to look healthy, not masked!

    Thank you so much!
    I was wondering if you could speak about melasma and anti-aging treatments in darker types. It's so difficult to know what is suitable for that problem in darker skin. I've been feeling very depressed because my melasma is getting worse even though I avoid the sun and apply sunscreen daily several times during the day. And since I have mediterranean skin and on top of that it's very dry it's a nightmare to find a solution. I've been to dermatologist but the triluma made my melasma worse, it was extremely irritating to my skin.
    Idk if you will even read my comment but thank you again. God bless you ❣️

    I am surprised you liked the Tower 28 one. It was one of the worst skincare products I have ever tried. I have mildly dry skin from tretinoin usage and this sunscreen sat on top of my skin basically scraping up all my dry skin as I applied it. It has zero moisturizing properties and just sits on top of your skin feeling so wet. I had to wash it off because of how bad it looked after an hour or so. I tried it the next day with a moisturizer underneath to help the skin surface a bit but it pilled up horribly. I dont know how to use this stuff but it was that bad that I will not purchase it. I am lucky I got a few sample colors to try first since it is expensive. I recommend going to Sephora or Kohl’s and asking for a sample before buying. They are always great about giving me samples.

    I think we're all gonna look back at these "dewey finishes" and laugh. I keep seeing people with dewey complexions and to be honest it doesn't look natural it looks kinda gross. One ladies face was so dewey at the store she looked like she put Crisco on her face. I can spot a dewey finish or moisturizing sunscreen face in a crowd. The first time I wore Tula my husband was like wow your face is sooo shiny..lolol. For now I'm gonna use it all up and hope they make a normal finish soon.
