Love this thank you !!! I have made my skin care so much easier now since watching your videos and I don’t feel like I have to break the bank on certain items !
Thank you so much for doing this two-part series! It is something that I’ve been wondering about for a while. I would loved your recommendations for niacinamide alternatives. I know niacinamide is supposed to be great for sensitive skin but for some reason it seems to make things worse, not better. But I would still like the skin barrier protection and pore size reducing benefits.
It's true that not everyone skin can handle niacinamide but I think it's a very small percentage honestly. If it's causing stinging most likely Your Skin Barrier is struggling. It's like a catch 22. Niacinamide is good for Skin Barrier but once it's already compromised, you have to repair the barrier first and then go back to trying niacinamide at that point
Thank you so much for this two part system!! I’ve never done skin care this way. My skin sometimes gets red because I am rosacea probed. Great suggestions to alternate and take days off from treatment days. A question I have that you may have covered before: what products are good for rosacea? Thanks again for the excellent suggestions to help our skin! ❤
Thank you for talking about this! What is a good peptide to use on the skin barrier repair night? You didn’t mention which ones you would recommend. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for this great video! I have a question: is using a moisturizer after the retinol or other treatment serum a must at night? Can I just cleanse and do the treatment without moisturizing afterwards? Thanks 🙏🏼
Love Avene! What do you think of the Revision products? Particularly the DEJ face cream all in one moisturizer? Can you do a video on best hair care products, particularly for thinning hair? And best coloring products that are safest for your scalp?
I think she responded to a comment recently that she'd work on one. In the mean time, several derms have videos on them like Dr. Jenny Liu, Dr. Sam Ellis, Dr Alexis Stephens, Dr. Shereene Idriss, Doctorly, Dr Natalia Spierings, etc.
Great informative and budget friendly videos. What is your thought on vit c (L ascorbic acid) powders, like from the ordinary compared to Vit c serums?
Dr. L. - Thank you for this video! In your AM routine, do you put your sunscreen on after your Vitamin C cream or does the Vitamin C cream have an SPF in it?
Awesome video! Thank you! A few questions. 1. I use the weekend glow skin toner by versed daily am/pm. Is this something I can continue or limit to my 2nd treatment night? 2. You had some repair serums in your hand during the video but never mentioned what they were in the video. In the description there are a lot of products mentioned and I’m not sure which reference the repair serums. Can I assume these are: Vichy Mineral 89, Versed Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and the Paula’s Choice products mentioned, and the Neutrogena Rapid tone Repair 20% Vitamin C Serum Capsules? 3. You mentioned using the avene bakuchiol serum in the a.m’s or as a 2nd treatment for your evening routines. I had just watched another one of yours (can’t remember which!) where you advised using this in the pm’s as it can take a while to dry and is a bit thick. I also agree. Wondering what you are using as your am treatment now, or what you would recommend. Thanks again for the great info!
Emily Duvall 1 second ago It would be great if you could address the eye area. I just started using the Avene RetrinAL eye cream at night - thank you for that suggestion! Should I only use it on nights 1& 2? I am building my routine slowly because of sensitivity and haven’t added a retinol product for the rest of my face yet. I have been using and LOVING the CeraVe Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment. I have seen great results in just a week with skin smoothness, hyperpigmentation, and reduced pore size. I have been using it on the same nights as the eye cream and so far, so good, but would like to know if that’s okay? I am careful not to get them near each other. Thank you!
Could you please make a video about led eye mask? I’m already using the physiology eye cream as I can’t find the retrinal eye here in australia! I really need something for my under eyes fine lines! Should I do fillers? I know you don’t like but what’s the best option? I was thinking led mask. Thank you 🙏 ❤️😘
Always enjoy your videos as they are helpful. I am from Canada and they don’t have the Avene with Bakuchiol and it can’t be shipped from the US to Canada. Could you suggest another product with Bakuchiol that I could possible resource in Canada?
If I am using Rentinal .01 at night and Retinal Bakuchiol Serum and the Ordinary vitamin 23% vitamin C in the morning, when can I use The Ordinary Ageriline and Matrixyl serums?
Thank you so much for this informatie video! I have been watching your videos this week looking for a good regime to start. From this video, this is what I am considering for a cycle routine. Can you look at it to let me know if it looks correct or if I should try something else in a certain step/day? Night 1: Treatment - RetrinAL Intensive Cream Step 1: La Roche-Posay Cleanser OR L'Oréal Revitalift Derm Intensives 3.5% Glycolic Acid Cleansing Gel Step 2: RetrinAL Intensive Cream on Face & Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair on Neck & Hands Step 3: La Roche Double Repair Moisturizer DO NOT HAVE Hyaluronic ACID in it (at night) Night 2: EXFOLIANT Step 1: Versed Mask (1 night a week) Step 2: Bakuchiol - 3 Ships Skin Hero OR Repeat RetrinAL Cream (Repeat of Retinol) Step 3: La Roche Double Repair Moisturizer (Same as day 1?) Night 3: Reset Skin Barrier (Rest) Step 1: Cleanse (Same cleanser as day 1?) Step 2: Reparative Serum - Versed Serum Hyaluronic OR The Ordinary Arigireline Solution Step 3: CeraVe Night Cream For the body nightly: Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Body Lotion Morning routine: Step 1: Brightening Cleanser (Unsure what I will use here) Step 2: Anti Aging Serum - Avene Correcting Serum Step 3: Mae Love - Glow Maker Serum Step 4: Vichy Moisturizer I appreciate ANY advice or input! I am 37, normal skin, not oily. I am new to skincare unfortunately, but wanting to invest in what is best!
Question: If my face doesn’t seem irritated when I layer products, why give my face a night off? Is this only for people whose face gets irritated? I mainly ask because I am obsessed with my timeless vitamin c and bakuchiol and I want to do both in the morning. Is a skin test the best way to go to see what happened or even if no negative reaction, do you still advise against it?
New to your channel and I love it! 😊 I have 2 questions, can you talk about eye creams (day/night) or does that matter? And in your morning routine I’m assuming you’re applying sunscreen after your moisturizer?
What about the rest of the body? I have sun spots that are showing up on my arms and legs. Are there any products to help fade these? And yes, I use good sunscreen.
I might check out this video of hers, How To Get Glowing Skin | Anti-aging Tip by The Budget Dermatologist. Not all derms think toners are necessary. Dr. Shereene Idriss has a video on toners. Dr Dray has some videos on toners.
Thank you so much!! Question please, for mature skin, women in perimenopause or menopause, should we use such products as Versed Instant Resurfacing Mask for our skin? Also, why are you using La Roche for "OILY" skin? Do you use Avene under your eyes?
If you check this video of hers out, My Drugstore Anti-aging Skincare Routine | Step-by-Step with The Budget Dermatologist, she shows how she applies the avene retrinal eye to her eyes.

Thank you for this information. I've seen you mention a couple of times that hyaluronic acid can be problematic in certain cases. Can you do a video explaining that?

I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
I am in love with the vit.c creams! They are a game changer for me as i couldn't use serums. The serums irritated my skjn too much. Ty for the tips.

What do you put on after mask? Retinol? Or just moisturizer?
With this cycle retinal is only being used 3X a week. Will you still get the full benefit of using the product?

I absolutely love the inkey list bakuchiol
In ur morning routine, after vit c moisturizer, do u still put sunscreen?
I’m curious what your thoughts are on red light therapy for anti-aging.

How can I incorporate Glytone 20% glycol acid cream in this routine? Thanks
And on the note below, are you able to share a little about your favourite repair serums for repair night? Thank you!

Hi. I use tretinoid nightly and a a chemical exfoliant like the Biologique Recherche P50 during the day. Is this okay ?
New to your channel and I love it! 😊 I have 2 questions, can you talk about eye creams (day/night) or does that matter? And in your morning routine I’m assuming you’re applying sunscreen after your moisturizer?
You can skip a step and use a moisturizer with a sunscreen in it. Also I heard anything with a spf of u
Nder 30 don't work
Please tell me what you think of RF devices ?
Never seen Avene brand anywhere (and I always thoroughly scour the skincare section) ... 🤔

Thank you so much! Do you like Arbutin serum, bakuchiol serum, retinol serum from the Inkey List?
She mentions the bakuchiol serum in her video, sephora sale top picks! up to 30% off, from about a month ago.
So no sunscreen in the am?
I use " the botox in a bottle"....i didnt get that part, do you mean i should use it on the rest night?
I started using the Retrinal 0.1 and haven’t had issues on my face but my neck has gotten irritated. Any recommendations for the neck?
She and some other derms have recommended retinol cream like Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair or Olay 24 retinol.
Can you recommend a gentle toner for oily skin to use in the morning?
I might check out this video of hers, How To Get Glowing Skin | Anti-aging Tip by The Budget Dermatologist. Not all derms think toners are necessary. Dr. Shereene Idriss has a video on toners. Dr Dray has some videos on toners.

♥️💯
I thought you couldn’t mix bakuchiol with vitamin C. Im so confused 😐☹️
Hyaluronic is in almost everything. Why buy a separate one? Same with niacinamide.
