It's kind of amazing how Hunters consider Arzuros to be this lovable goofball/punching bag when even the smallest of them is still larger than the largest polar bear ever recorded. Also, it has an armored back and spike arms. It would be a real life bear hunter's ultimate prize.
Yeah, overall I agree that a lot of people in the canon of monster hunter(and even outside in our world ,or within my friend group at least) dunk on Arzuros for being this goofy bumbling teddy bear or even a boring pushover of a monster to hunt due to its lack of flashy or magical attacks, but it’s actually a really cool and well designed and well thought out monster (in my opinion at least) and if it were in our world, people’s opinion of this tank of a foodie would change pretty quick I think 😅
“Bloodlust incarnate”….really?….the bear?…Ik you get good armor off of him and I know he’s been around for awhile, but I would never describe him/her as “bloodlust incarnate”
Technically the Arzuros we hunt are cubs since full grown Arzuros have red furr and are called Redhelm Arzuros. But since Arzuros rarely get that old Redhelm is considered an Deviant Monster.
@@b52incoming.48 yeah, but the lore behind Redhelm is that hes an full grown Arzuros. I’m having a weird experience it’s taking me 30 mins to defeat my hunt and I know I’m wailing the crap out of the monster; I’m maining a bone switch axe 80 attk power? I dunno it feels different from world my hunts on there are like 10-15 mins at the most even with elder dragons? 😩

@@plaguedoctor8317 No he should’ve been dubbed “Grizzly Glutton.” That’s what the quest is called in the game.
I know right. Nothing about this goober screams bloodlust
