Yeah the one chance nature is really only due to inexperience with managing her meter (completely reasonable) but it feels like people are accepting it as a fact instead of working to fix that. I havent been able to play due to an IRL move but once Im situated I will stream on twitch, so in the future gameplay will come just give me time 🙏

So refreshing to see a pro guide talking about how strong nm is. Her 5h rivals Nagos, she can combo out of any confirm, and the uninstall can seriously trip with peoples mental cause they KNOW you can reinstall at any point. landing one hit in nm can kill (at that point in the round) with just some install meter.
a few things. first of all, i know you covered normal mode pressure, but i still think it's pretty weak to fd and deflect shield, hard to stay in. as for playing neutral with jealous, it's really strong, but if you get caught at all you lose your resources, which kinda sucks. there's also the fact that it's sometimes just hard to set up jealous at all in neutral if someone is keeping you in check. i feel like you'll need to swap between modes for both pressure and neutral a lot. in neutral you're gonna be swapping to jealous at like, full/three-quarter screen distance to gap close. in pressure, if you're in the corner, you'll probably wanna find a way back into normal mode to keep your pressure going longer and to not run out of gauge, maybe after looping mix a few times and going into rrc or projectile super or whatev. then you gotta keep up normal pressure until you either get a hit or eventually feel like it's time to use resources to go back into jealous and go for broke. i think a lot of when youll be pressuring or playing neutral as either stance will come down to how full the bar is anyway, but her ability to swap between them in pressure relies a lot on your burst and tension, and her ability to swap in neutral relies, frankly, on the opponent letting you. most characters have a way to bully aba at around poking distance, where aba's fastest button is like, f.s. she might need to condition the opponent to respect her 236k, 214k and 5h to get the opportunities. tho it may be hard to get anyone to respect that. another thing. i feel like leo will be incredibly tough. good midrange tools that can keep aba from going into or out of install in neutral. flash kick will waste your meter if you get caught in install and to make a lot of its pressure less scary, and if you get caught in normal mode (which relies heavily on interactive pressure with slight plus frames from keygrab, and also needs to use the very reactable 236k to stay in) you're back to square one. i also dont know how she escapes the blender. idk seems rough. idk her limited time to run offense just makes characters with good defensive tools really annoying.
Really want to let you know that I am really really extremely glad you are looking at her amazing strengths and how you can use them to play around her weaknesses instead of assuming her weakness holds all of her strengths back. I really believe that as time passes this character will end up being really good once people develop her and realise how she's played and how to route optimally with her (I think her combo routing for example is extremely intricate and maybe even the hardest to learn out of anyone in the cast due to just how many options she has can all be optimal depending on the game state), and it's extremely refreshing seeing someone out there able to look at the character as their whole rather than "oh I'm fullscreen against hc and I can't do anything!!!!!" Love the aba videos so much! I think she has a lot of potential and there is a lot of doomer talk around her. She’s also very fun in my opinion with lots of strong tools… so thanks for helping me get better with her!
Intertwine and tilt is great for movement in base form. She does have a slow dash in base form if you hold down the forward button after tapping twice. Frenzy and astonishment for gaining meter even at a distance (especially from fireballs). Bonding and dissolving has great reach. J.D leading to 2.K is great for going into B&D. Never let the meter get to zero. Always get meter back by ending jealous rage manually above roughly 30%. I think she's awesome and can come back with almost no health.
another thing you can do is if you get a wallbreak you can bufer the animation of the Keeper of the Key super and press K as soon as they are sstanding, this will give you massive plus frames to either transform in/out of jelous rage and with the meter bonus you will be gaining back the meter you just used to do the super
imma start doing this, the more places i put this super the better it gets fr my favorite way of using it is even if you're at the very end of your install, you can cancel into the super and always have time to give yourself a safe uninstall after the super plays out
I tried playing her like this but against matchups with strong defensive options or good zoning its a struggle. Generally when you switch back the first time you are close to that 25% and if they successfully burst, YRC or DP you it is a reeeaaal struggle. FD is also really good against her normal mode pressure.
Coming from Nago I see a of the philosophy with blood management as I do with ABA. On Nago I'll often go for combos that give high blood return over damage because I want options after wallbreak. It seems like the same is true for ABA; more options keeps your opponent guessing than if you rage every chance you get and run at them, forcing a mix.
It is funny to joke about but I hope it is clear that entering uninstall on your own terms is strong and I hope I highlighted it well enough in the video. Her famine is overindulging in her install and not properly managing her jealousy so that she can't do a manual install, which is why it's important to route for oki where you can string into 5H install like at 1:31
I reallly liked the video! She’s still feast or famine though imo, much more so than any other character. Maintaining a state where you’re conserving JR and still getting oki is crucial and something that is constantly in development, especially thanks to the likes of you! But sometimes you’ll just get unlucky, getting bursted, YRC or simply read and outplayed in JR, and suddenly you are full screen away without meter. It’s just part of her core design. This however does not mean she’s unviable. Minimizing her clear weaknesses and maximizing her strengths are what makes her so fun to play.
This is what ive been saying, people are HARD sleeping on install/uninstall on knockdown. I honestly think it's the main reason people are calling her bad atm. Once you start throwing install into your pressure, you almost never run out of meter
Hopefully you've gotten it down by now but yeah there's no real cheat to getting it, you really gotta practice it until you become comfortable with doing it.

You literally talk about finishing with uninstall, rip footage from Sajam directly, and then don't use any of the footage of him using Keygrab to break the wall, which is A.B.A.'s best option for recovering from or entering install. And on top of that you talk about Super wallbreak without clarifying which one you mean, when Law is Key leaves you at midscreen, uninstalled and with zero bar if you use it to wallbreak when installed, which is like shooting your own kneecaps.
You seem to think I'm showing sajam as an example of someone playing ABA wrong and that I think people play her wrong in general. I didn't say either nor do I believe it but I described a playstyle that utilizes her mobility and strong whiff punish ability and reward to maximize her threat in neutral while routing in a way that lets you conserve jealousy. I don't think Chipp or Gio could be described as feast or famine, which is the playstyle I described and largely considered when thinking about her gameplans. I think her playstyle can better be described as a snowball monster. I can see how me saying super wallbreak without clarifying which one is confusing though, thank you. even with jealousy gauge sub 25% I find it pretty consistent to recover with Parry or get in Haul and Heed and punishing the dodged attack

Man I'm ngl, been trying the keygrab oki after rage mode rekka, and it's super inconsistent and risky. If you miss time it you can just get blown up
